faste:That's the problem my brother. But if the buhari administration can look deeply inwards, there are still good ones. |
codemaniacs:enough said. Go back to the past, you'd concur. Those being chased by abacha were enemies of state, political thieves...tinubu, abiola, etc were thieves who stole from the government to enrich themselves. Military might have their excesses but they're far better than the wolves we have in politics today, most of whom are round pegs in square holes. The short time fix proposed would reduce insecurity and economic woes in Nigeria greatly provided the right people are appointed amongst them. Buratai was a bad choice among the military officers. There were much better and refined officers but politics was involved in the appointment. If they could get this right, it's the panacea to our problems. |
This ma still dey? He was so popular back in the days the way he flaunted his wealth as a young man. Indomitable generation won't know this man |
Romanoff:abi when you're the one who called yourself and God didn't call you ![]() Some men of God are worse than the devil. |
He should be stripped of his rank and put where his likes belong immediately, before he's allowed to say its the devil's work. |
faste:Sorry to ask you this? How old were you during abacha days? That was the time Nigeria had it best economically. Military could have their excesses but they're far better than all these thieves who call themselves politicians or leaders. It's still civilians who would be in charge of administrative works. Anyone found stealing already knows what's going to be his end point . See how cocain is being discovered on luggage daily in our airports? It has become a daily occurrence. Nigeria will collapse soon, except this option is embraced. The measure would be temporary. Let's see if there won't be decorum provided buhari won't embrace nepotism in putting military officers in place to take charge in the meantime |
baseb:It won't. We should stop being agitated or worried on something that's neither here nor there. My uncle from yorubaland was one of the military administrators during abacha regime in one of the south-south states. Could you believe most of the infrastructure he had in place during his tenure haven't been surpassed by any governor since the return of democracy in 1999? The circle of governors and politicians we have today are thieves. They can't lead us anywhere. |
SmartProf:That's the solution, except we're deceiving ourselves. I wondered why the OP didn't say all what Pa Edwin Clark said last night on channels tv, that he swore by his father's grave if Nigeria wouldn't collapse within six months, should things be allowed to continue this way. Haven't you heard of whats going on in Niger state where boko haram hoisted their flags and converting people to Islam by force? Such can only happen in a chaotic country where the rule of law is dead...it's a shame this happening to us already. What of the daily burning down of police stations and killing of soldiers and police in the south east? I've not even forgotten the daily boko haram incursion in the restive North Eastern and western regions. Just today, I read in the news where akeredolu was said to have deported some people back to the north due to their heinous acts in the state. There's agitation for secession here and there but the almighty national assembly kept mum all because they eat free money belonging to tax layers. Governors embezzle allocation like no man's business. What of one popular givernor in my region who was said to have had one of the best private universities in Ghana? This man has no single registered business. Kudos to pa Clark jare. Anyone who's not happy to hear this can go to buirdillon and report to tinubu. Who cares? |
I watched this man speak on channels tv last night. Nigeria is so blessed with best brains . I was just wondering why people like Clark weren't appointed into government cabinets. This is the only panacea to our myriads of problems, provided buhari won't introduce nepotism into the appointment of military chiefs who would take over the affairs of every state. Kęę pė baba. Kudos! |
falcon01:by his fellow fulani at work ba? |
I wish the FG could encourage people like you.. but they won't, because they can't invest in a place where they can't see anything to steal in return. Weldone! |
Golan007:Ask again after seeing the video |
NwaAmaikpe:...and what if he had been killed? what would you have called him...a fool? |
MrJames007:not only that. The company that manufactured that bullion van don secure huge potential orders already...you can imagine how many views this fearful video would attract globally. kudos |
A country where things work...kudos. See as fear catch that black guy lol |
Carbon copy. see those cheeks and his mouth lool |
PissfulProtester:See as your mouth stinks. What happened to Patience Jonathan when she visited this same man with money gift, even though he did not invite her, just because they wanted him to sweet-mouth them for 2015 elections? You are a dingbat, i don't care if you report me to the mod or not on this. When the same Mbaka supported Buhari a muslim candidate over a Christian sitting president, nobody opened their dirty mouths to talk but now that he's saying otherwise about buhari, knowing fully well that buhari had failed Nigerians, your likes are busy disgracing yourself on nairaland. Shioor! People like you are the reason we are at a stalemate as a country. |
virginchaser:lol. No be lie |
chuksey1:Nnkan ti baję Gaaaan ![]() |
Fooolishbuharri:On this one, they don't have a choice. It would be passed, though they'd end up falling victim |
Please, please...don't even mention APC right now, I beg of you OP |
That world Bank is a den of criminals at night, especially that every day supermarket area. It always looks dry and desolate |
Do not honour any calls for an interview you aren't sure of. They use this as a bait for several unsuspecting and desperate job seekers nowadays. I've saved 2 girls from entering their dens here in lagos. They sent them job interview text messages and they showed it to me. I asked them if they ever applied for the job and they said nope. The interviewer kept calling them but I told them not to go. |
sureteeboy:the fear is social media |
Nogodye:He will. Wilder ranted more than this. It shall end in pain for the Gypsy King. Watch out! |
AngryIgboDon:You may right but not every information shared in nairaland is fake. Did you know...a lot of people here have declined to share their stories which could have helped lift lots of Nigerians out of poverty but because of scepticism, name-calling and doubts , some people chose not to say a word which had caused lots to miss such opportunities. Before I travelled to USA to study, I got an remote job from far away USA. I was just browsing the jet one day and jammed the opportunity. But then, i had my paying job intact. The remote job mainly weekend jobs. I made money legitimately. I was able to pay my fees over there with ease, while in Nigeria. Every night, I'd go to a cafe for night browsing working online. I'd buy night browsing ticket at a cyber cafe unlike now when Internet is in every home and affordable. Its an online market research company. A couple of guys I introduced this to, became appreciative forever. On getting to USA, I continued with the company even as a student. I shared my covid-19 experience here some months back. Come and see insults, abusive words rain over me despite uploading verifiable proofs to support my story. Not every story shared on the social media is fake or an attempt to scam or lure people into stuffs. |
Fact, fact |
Age 25, barely 2 months after completion of NYSC |
See as I rushed here after reading the topic, thinking I'd see names of such shameless Bishops and their names. |
And one bald headed one was telling the president not to bring in foreign mercenaries to tackle all these terrorists? They are obviously making cool cash with all the violence going on in the country, that is why they don't want it to end. All sponsors of terrorism and their online supporters will not make it to the end of this year in good health. As long as y'all happy with this news and the deaths of our soldiers, good news will be far from your already miserable lives. Mofos. Thanks for the mention. Comment made. Now say Amen to the prayers. We no say u go Japa, who wan die now? It is almost 8'O clock o 8'O clock : your best hour of the day. Knocks!
Ogbeni calm down. Nigeria would never make that mistake of going into civil war again. Mind you, what we're facing today is worse than the civil war. No place is in peace. We will rather brake away. Tell me, is it yoruba who would join force with the north to attack igbo or Middle belt nowadays when the real enemy is known? Think about it |
Bros we go wash am ooh |
This is ridiculous. One single Nigerian owns property worth more than that in dubai |
