Because of politics, you waged war on social media and swiftly sponsored a bill to kill it whereas, you gained power via the same means. You attacked crypto, just because you saw it as a threat thereby block Nigerian youths of a means of legitimate livelihood but you couldn't block the sources of terrorism funding in Nigeria for years until Dubai did the needful. Instead of praising uae government, buhari govt condemned the action, even said the sponsors of terrorism who were arrested with proofs were unfairly treated because they weren't given a fair hearing...all because they belong to a particular section of the country who sponsor, kill for fun and linked to terrorism. The only statement I have been waiting for is for them to say dubai did what they did for politics sake as they always claim. Sadly, some morons still back this government. DSTV's largest customer is Nigeria, likewise MTN. Had we sensible leaders with enabling environment in place, do you know Nigeria could actually force both DSTV and MTN to move their headquarters to Nigeria, their largest customer or they pack their bag and baggage and leave? But with the kind of corrupt and inept leaders we have, it would never happen. On several occasions had the issue of DSTV tariff been discussed on the floor of the NA, people even protested, what happened afterwards? Once they silence them with bribe, they keep quiet. We have lost our values as a country, guy. Nigeria had played great fatherly roles in Africa in the past, including the end to apartheid and ushering freedom in South Africa. We've fought several guerilla and miltia wars in many countries in Africa and kept peace. See us today, our military have compromised. Instead of killing the non state actors and ending the war, the reverse is now happening. See the way they now kill our soldiers and police like fowl. Blame our leaders for all these woes bedeviling us as a nation. This isn't the time to start defending anybody or government. They've all failed. Once Nigeria sneezes in Africa, other counties are expected to catch cold. Thank God that, some individuals have decided to move on in contributing their all, towards the progress of this country and that of their families, that's why Nigeria's name is still being mentioned or heard abroad today 10 Likes 1 Share |

Many of them have abandoned their business and faced politics squarely and that's why it's become a do or die affair. Yahaya bello who suddenly made himself youth ambassador is a good example. He had a transport company called FairPlus long before he became governor. The company was well run with people working for him and his barrister wife. The moment he became governor, FsirPlus died a perpetual death. In my opinion, the militiamen, armed bandits , gunmen, Bokoharam or wherever appellation they give these guys, should face the NA and face them. They're the problems of Nigeria and not the masses who are being shortchanged by these morons. Too bad. I'm not sure those who killed the gallant soldiers were fulani herders for obvious reasons. When Buratai was still COAS, he ordered his men to ambush the notorious thug terrorising the state and his team on their way to makurdi at a venue where the wanted to embrace amnesty as promised by Ortom. The governor, his vice and police and security agents were already waiting to receive them where they were to lay down their weapons. Army ambushed and killed the notorious thug, claiming he was caught in the cross fire. This could be a reprisal from the camp of the dead thug. Ogungbemi01:If i didn't take anything home from your comment, I think I agree with you where you said when yorubas would say yes, the north would say no Such could only happen where there's no real intention for growth and development, where there's no sense of belonging and a united front, where every region only goes to abuja to steal for themselves and family at the expense of the masses. Whereas, same north would come up with an idea and same would be embraced by all and sundry. They say grazing reserves is the way and our leaders are already keying into it. Our people agitated for state policing but they rejected it now, they are worse hit by insecurity but then, it's affecting every Nigerian as funds meant for development of our country are being diverted into fighting a needless war. Before nko? Nigeria has lost her place in Africa no be today. Our youths need to see the way Nigerian entrepreneurs are thronging Ghanaian economy. They're coming next year to do fire brigade tactics by putting some projects in place and sharing 20k with you guys ahead of 2023. They have the code to your brain already but the onus is on you to reason well. Even if they spent 100m to buy votes they'd recover it in less than 2 months once they get to power while you remain hungry and wretched after finishing the 20k. That 20k has deprived you of quality Healthcare because you would have voted the wrong person and when your wife or mum is sick, na private hospital dem go carry dem go where they'd bill them heavily. You'd be denied jobs, infrastructure, etc. By the time you'd vomit that 20k, you'd never know Get sense or remain in one place till you wake up one day and begin to see scanty strands of grey hair on your head, which connote that you've sold your life for 20k and have become useless. Its never too late. Forget all the giants of Africa hype. We're only giants in population. The day I heard from aljazeera when Nigeria's issue was being discussed and one oyinbo guy put our population at almost 400m, I almost fainted. Before our government could even agree we were over 200m in population, it took time. They've always been deceiving us with fake figures. I've always said that Gov Makinde is a silent actor and a lover of youths in Oyo State but some gullible fellas bicker on this. I remember an eve of gubernatorial election in oyo when tinubu payed his trump card on makinde after trying all other means to stop him, including sending thugs to threaten him and bribing alaafin molete's followers to stop him instead, the 25m naira he gave them set them apart. Thugs and armed policeman blocked the entry and exit points on his street at orita bashorun on election eve.They wanted to whisk him away but they failed.
