Here, we vote along ethnic and religious lines. Shame on all those involved in this mess. Nigeria would remain this way unless we change our mentality. In developed countries today, nobody votes a candidate because he's a Christian or Muslim or pagan. They vote based on merit and the manifestos geared at moving their country forward. Its when country is safe and progressive that you can go to church or mosque without thinking someone could enter and throw bomb. It's country first.

People are just shouting...why Ghana, why not Nigeria. Whereas, Ghana had paid the price. Jerry rawlings had paved the way for current generation of Ghanaians. Dear all, please avoid going to Sango, Alagbado and Ijaye axis now as armed gang numbering about 50 are ushering commuters out of the vehicles, robbing them of their belonging and personal effects. They are having a field day as I speak. My sister, who boarded a BRT bus just called and recounted her ordeal. The BRT found it difficult to turn while people scampered for safety but she managed to escape unhurt.

This isn't about politics as I know this wouldn't make headlines. I'm just being concerned as a Nigerian. I hope this call would save a life at least. Please watch before you go to that route.
