He must have had lots of plans ahead of 2023 . They're busy consulting on who would be president in 2023 amid a volatile and insecure atmosphere in Nigeria where the masses are being slaughtered like ram, but many of them don't even know they wouldn't even witness 2022 . Rip to him |
Una just wan tear down Nigeria at all cost? Na wah oo |
These guys are political jobbers. The country is collapsing and all that concerns them is who becomes what? See yah life youths. These are the people you are wasting your data online for...smh! |
The future of this country lies on the youths. I have reiterated this. If they can produce a formidable leader irrespective of tribe , ethnicity , they will defeat these old cargoes who have destroyed this country and have refused to leave power. Insecurity will vanish in the air like vapour overnight. I am waiting for that brave youth who will take over this state too. The likes of tinubu would know his over hyped lagos project would be a childsplay when he sees massive development on ground. I see many of them running into exile because of their decades of misdeeds in the country...then we can say we have a safe, prosperous future |
This man is exceptional |
I'm really not happy with what's happening all over the country at the moment. Our unemployed youths keep increasing in number. An idle hand us the devil's workshop |
BigSarah:Big Sarah miii . Abeg leave bode alone. He still feels disgruntled |
garfield1:No idea. But certainly, they too must have been paid a sum. |
Buccalcavity2:Adedibu started as a youth leader under AG, which was very correct. The moment he became unruly and people started complaining about his act of thuggery, he was banished from the party...he didn't leave AG on his own rather, he was sent packing . So, how would someone now say he was Awolowo thug in the first place when he was disowned on the account of the same act by awo and his loyalists? That's my point. On awo being guilty of funding party with cocoa and timber proceeds, that was the order of the day at that time as every process was made open, those in the north too used cotton and groundnut proceeds, due to paucity of funds and being the ruling party at that time, they had their grip of power and that still happens today, just that its being done in a smart way to escape justice. For instance, the ruling party would say they're deploying 10k police to a particular state ahead of election to forestall violence. The IG would be briefed about it, would sign that he's releasing the 10k officers to that state. He would also sign for their allowance for an xyz days they're staying. Eventually, the funds for 2k officers or even less would be released to the IG, while the allowances for the remaining 8k would be used to rig elections and bribe local chiefs and political thugs. The IG would now use his discretion to disburse whatever allocated or released to him. Him go chop him own too. The FG may also use one of their contractors who would donate a huge sum to them to fund elections. Be that as it may, awolowo was never accused of stealing or cornering state or regional funds to himself as in the case of tinubu Mr "jeun sapo, koo tun jeun soke". To know more about adedibu, awolowo and ibadan politics, get a copy of wole soyinka's books titled.. "Ibadan, the Penkelemens Years" . Peculiar Men was coined into "Penkelemens" by ibadan people, mind you . You may also read the awolowo's book titled The Voice of Reason |
Probe northern leaders who ruled their states since independence and jail them, if still alive They were promoting only Islamic education and almanjiris instead of counterbalancing it with western education like the south did. The abandoned almanjiris of yesterday have been disappointed, they're today's terrorists. Because they got disappointed, they now said western education was a sin, since it never favoured them. No thanks to their leaders |
Basic123:See this one telling me wetin him no sabi. Abi make i teach you history about Pa awo small. Adedibu AKA alaaafin malete was never awo's thug rather a thorn on awo's flesh. He would come to Oke Bola awo's residence,to dabaru things for papa yet he would not ask his followers to deal with him. Do you know Omololu olunloyo? I think he's still alive and should be nearing 100 years by now...he also lives in malete, in fact very close to adedibu's house , near sijuwade Inn. He was the only friend olunloyo had and it was because olunloyo and adedibu shared same political ideologies. On tribune, Nigerian tribute which I knew very well and worked after I graduated, very close to my aunt's house at imalenfalafia has never been a government establishment, neither was it built with government proceeds. It was privately owned by Awolowo who later appointed his son( now late) to head the place when he was growing old. Would you liken tribune to iyaloja General position held by Tinubu's daughter or national assembly position occupied by his son in law? Or BT Diagnostics owned by him inside LASUTH? Or Hitech which does most of the construction work in lagos or alpha beta which collects taxes on behalf of lagos state govt ? Tinubu's son is the Head of the company operating lagos BRT on ikorodu axis...these are facts on ground. On Coca-Cola issue, did awolowo use public funds to get the stake? Was he a shareholder at Coca-Cola? You don't even know what you're saying. Pa awo approached Coca-Cola and brought them to Nigeria to invest. He didn't impose anything on them. Rather , Coca-Cola said in appreciation of the enabling environment created by awolowo such as free land to cite their plant and tax cut in the then western region, they said a token would be set aside as royalty for awo and his family, till date they still enjoy it. That ikeja plant was the first in the whole of west Africa. Pa Awo would have been the best president in Africa unfortunately he never got it. Nigeria would have been much better than it is today, had he been given the opportunity to rule. He didn't have a single stake at cocoa House ibadan. Neither did he have any stake in the UCH unlike Bola Tinubu ( BT) Diagnostics in lasuth owned by tinubu. Pa awo never had a single helicopter despite his huge influence and opportunity to steal, unlike tinubu who owns private jets. Rather, he was busy creating the "first" marks everywhere at highly subsidised rates like free education, free health services, first television station in africa, etc. Pa Awo's private jets were the likes of OAU, cocoa House , Premier Hotel and the entire Odu'a Investments which he developed with cocoa proceeds. Those investments still generate income to yoruba race and the country at large till date. For the umpteenth time, pa awo was never a drug baron. Comparing tinubu to awo is sinful. |
These guys look like retirees who depend on stipends to live. Any tip given to them to protest would easily woo them. |
This is the real olu of warri. The name says it all |
Moneyminded1:You can say it a million times. After America, come to Nigeria and see beauty. Being fair-skinned isn't the definition of beauty, mind you. Nigerians are naturally beautiful, followed by Ethiopians. |
I looove America....a country full of fun |
You must find it o. Awon opuro |
festacman:You've said it all. From the rank and file of pa awo's followership, I never spotted rogues, area boys and hired assassins. No single relation or child of pa awo held any political appointment. OBJ would have toed that path but he missed the oppronities big time. Tinubu I know is more of a traitor and a reckless, greedy being, who thrives in political aggrandizement. He had his eyes and ears in all sectors of the economy...comparing both of them is like comparing darkness and light. |
Good one. She must be one of those whose parents forced to study the course targeted against their wish. |

kalu61:I didn't deviate. Had dialogue ensued between the locals and herders in ebonyi instead of killing them in the first place which led to the recent unfortunate atrack, same would have been avoided. Herders sent emissaries to the south with their governors to beg and both parties embraced dialogue. They made them pay for the Farmlands destroyed by their cattle and my people too compensated the hausa residents in sasa, those whose agricultural products were destroyed and their houses burnt by our people ...that's the solution |
Cashsteady:I don't think so. Is korede bello igbo? What of hanty tiwatope? Djah nko? What of the koko master? No come spread hate here abeg. |
kalu61:Read news and stop propaganda. You know what happened to them in ebonyi. Fulanis were killed previously and they all left the place, only to reinforce. Their comeback was brutal. 2 fulanis were reportedly killed by the locals and in return, over 40 locals went down. Dialogue is key. No tribe is spared in attacking each others in Nigeria. All tribes are guilty of this, though some are more guilty than the others. A wise man doesn't attack a fool in a foolish way. Rather, he applies his wisdom. |
See the art work he posed with. Na wah oo, omo baba kerubu |
kalu61:when last did you hear of such attacks here? |
Regina is a potential Gateman food. This man doesn't have extra life and energy inside the fridge to satisfy all his wives and still give them the attention they need at the expense of his business and politics. She would need affection more often than not, which I doubt this man can offer her. Money isn't everything. Even me wey marry young. A month into my marriage when I got posted outside lagos, my wife dey always cry like a baby cos she needed me. How much more a young gal like Regina? |
Soolmus:Am telling you...and you can't fast at least 3 times a week...na oyo that olopa dey |
Iranu. Come and see my smart home with the latest jacuzzi and bow. All thanks to nairaland professionals. This forum has done me so much good. Kudos seun! |
Abeg ooo. Make una stop this nonsense. This can't solve the problem on ground. Dialogue is key. Had my people hand northern madness this way when they struck, there wouldn't be any single fulani today in yoruba land but we proved to them we were more intelligent and mature. So, be careful cos by the time the issue gets escalated, you guys might not be able to handle it oo. My 50 cents |
Idol worshipping was so evident in the egyptians of old's lifestyles, so much that their tables had animal head designs... |
OlayemiAshraf:But your religion also supports and end of this world and second coming of Jesus Christ. What is your point exactly? |
471 million km journey to Mars? Damn! This confirms how far the heaven would be from earth...a place not reachable by mortal body. |
Crimrburster:Rather, he was very wrong |
