What of the bandits? Did they escape with gunshot wounds as usual? North can conceal anything. |
Sell the damn NNPC, they refused , they said they can't sell National assets but they am hide under the same national asset to steal. We shall be alright someday. I've been looking for fuel in Lagos since morning, for where? |
Funny state, always coming up with funny ideas ![]() The other time, it was creation of the ministry of happiness ![]() |
Lazyyouth4u:. Who said Tanit owned it? Oga oo. Tanit was employed to source equipment across the globe. They are also in the management of the facility, including the equipment. If you go there today, you'd see the Indians there. Their CEO is on the board of Tanit. He's indian |
Lazyyouth4u:Really? You must be joking . Our equipment were there which we installed. Go do your research well. Maybe Google could help you. If you had said it was a franchise I'd have agreed |
9jaRealist:Do you understand what word "designated" means? There are places designated for factories only, commercial activities only, residential purposes, etc by the government. If you now built something different in such locations, it would be pulled down. Where Evercre Hospital facility is located today was never a designated hospital place. You see that road mark only after the hospital has been fully completed and not before and during construction. The road mark is there to create awareness, just like saying pure water sold here, school children crossing, etc |
seguno2:we are the problems of ourselves in this country, always acting as sycophants to these politicians for doing nothing. Someone yesterday was criticising that senator who sponsored the bill to reduce the minimum wage for workers, which stirred up the nationwide strike as if the guy criticising wasn't one of the people voting them. How could you as a senator who earns over 13m naira monthly have taken such a heinous step to cut the 30k minimum wage which wasn't even enough in the 1st place. We need to change our mentality in this country. We're the one giving them wings by praising these people for doing nothing. |
9jaRealist:It's not a designated hospital zone. There was an occupant there before and a GT bank. The GT Bank is still there, sharing a fence with the hospital. The C of O you said didn't come for free. They paid for every registration done to acquire the place. They're also going to pay for signage and advert on the notice board. I don't see where the governor has impacted the huge Healthcare investment positively. Anyone else could have been invited for commissioning including the health minister. Not a big deal at all. Had the government donated a parcel of land to them, built a power plant or contributed in a way to ease doing business or creating an enabling environment, then it would have been a different thing. |
9jaRealist:Governor sanwoolu did nothing to make Evercare on Admiralty Way happen. The land wasn't donated by him, neither does the state have a share or stake in it. The facility is owned by a group of Nigerians but under the management of Tanit Group. The security there is being provided and operated by admiralty CDA, including the entrance gate into the area from the main lekki-ajah road. The governor was only invited there for commissioning |
aremuforlife:It's privately owned. |
Vote them again in 2023 and expect something worse. They'd start leaving abuja for their constituencies and be wooing you with money inside Ghana must go bags as election approaches executing substandard projects here and there including roads that would be washed away by erosion in a matter of months and after the election, you'd not see them again until another 4 years approach. They know the best way to get you guys with peanuts. Get the right people in the system and things will be alright. |
Is there war in oyo state? Is oyo now sambisa or zamfara state ? Just because OPC arrested and handed over a fulani man to police, buhari is now deploying service chiefs to the state? Shame! |
garfield1:In all fairness, that money shouldn't be given to delta in cash, just like I suggested in my earlier post. Maybe the fed govt could just look for an area where the state is in need within the state, like road constructions or water projects and contract it directly to capable hands like JB or RCC. Do you know their teaching hospital in oghara? That stolen money was part of the funds to be used for constructing various departments there. Most of the buildings are collapsing now while those under construction were stopped before the end of his tenure. His close friend called Omatseye was his accomplice. I also know delta very well. In fact, I'm visiting Oghara , ibori's Town this week for a project, though my trip is not related to him or state. The activities of people governing us is puzzling. All of them are the same. It's ibori's case today because he got caught. Several of them had done worse stuffs. If we fail to get it right come 2023...I reserve my comment. |
garfield1:I wasn't doubting the fact that delta state defended ibori. The question is...did the ordinary men and women on the street actually defend ibori? The answer is no. Those defending him were either sponsored or belonged to his clan. I read about the Oghara people where the thief hails from, also defending him in a mass protest. Their voice shouldn't be misconstrued for the voice of the majority of deltans . We're in Nigeria together and we understand what these politicians can do, just to have their ways. It's just like when the federal government defends themselves each time an international organisation or an international community raises alarm on the ever-increasing insecurity or poor economic policies in Nigeria and they say boko haram had been crushed or technically defeated. Does it mean they're speaking for the majority of Nigerians or the victims of boko haram or failed economic policy? No. The victims and an ordinary Nigerian would definitely have a divergent view or opinion. |
Kidnapping is one of the lucrative jobs APC has promised Nigerian youths in 2015. Una thank you oo. We await your manifestos in 2023. Awon dindinrin eda |
PrinceOfLagos:Hmmm, secured by who? The carpenter working on my site is from imeko-afon. No police or military on sight. They're on their own. |
garfield1:Nooo! Na your local government allocation, lol. This man sef |
garfield1:You're the one talking carelessly here. I urge you to grab a copy of the Nigerian constitution and read about the federal allocation to state and the procedures of obtaining same. If the allocation meant for a particular state was being mismanaged or embezzled, there's a procedure involved in getting it back through the federal government's anti-corruption agency. In the case of money trafficked or stolen and kept in a foreign account, the federal government is saddled with the responsibility of repatriating it via various diplomatic means and not state. It's now a case between 2 countries. This they've done and the money upon receipt should he used to fund a project in the state in question if the fed govt doesn't trust the current administration and NOT diverting it to fund federal government's contracts. I urge you wait and let's see how this after would end up and then, we'd see who talks carelessly. I just read the submission of Barr. Femi Falana in this case and smiled, cos we're on same page. |
garfield1:From hich state was the money stolen? Can the federal allocation belonging to a particular state be shared between 2 states ? |
Abi tinubu sponsored some igbo guys to tell the media that he should run? Lool |
chinjo:That's the best the north could produce. You don't blame them. The money belongs to deltans and if they don't fight for it in court, it's their wahala. What I expect the federal govt to do is award a contract in the area the state has need and supervise it without allowing g one kobo to land in the hands of okowa. That is fair enough. |
One thing is certain. Baba doesn't know most of the goings-on in his administration. Even obj as smart as he claimed to be was being out-smarted during his administration. The kain revelation of fraud wey go commot after his administration go shock people. Those involved in one mess or the other are leaving the country already so they'd not say they left immediately after buhari left office and people would begin to suspect them. I won't mention names. Sahara reporters' publisher is receiving the heat already. I learnt his party suspended him this week but this can't prevent the truth from prevailing. I was expecting a harsh statement from the lady's lawyer...if truly sue was innocent. |
Viknat:They should give delta what belongs to deltans. The money was given to delta in allocations. Other states go their own share of such allocations too during that time. All our politicians are thieves and karma would visit all of them one after the other. I learnt governor fayemi owns one of the best private universities in Ghana during his first tenure, someone who didn't have a single company before joining politics. How much was his salary as governor? Oshiomhole has a private airport in his wife's country. That's the way they steal our common wealth and our lazy youths would be busy hailing these thieves, fighting themselves on social media. The day justice will be done in lagos would be when tinubu is brought to book for all his atrocities. I never knew lagos had so much money until ambode took office and embarked on massive projects. After his tenure, the state still declared budget surplus for the first time in many years. That money would have entered private pockets but he refused to do their bidding hence, got punished for it. So, delta owns that money and FG can't collect back what it had already given them in the past. Doing such would also mean approaching other states to return their own share of allocations to FG which isn't possible. Delta is naturally reckless in spending. They always share allocations amongst themselves, a state That's supposed to be embarrassed with infrastructure, given the size and fat allocations they get with oil money. What I expect them to do is , return the stolen money and ensure they use same for infrastructure with close monitoring , like road construction and award same to JB or Water project for rural dwellers. No single cash must enter their hands cos they'd squander it as usual. They seem to be under a spell in that state by doing little with so much allocations at their disposal. Go to their teaching hospital, there's nothing there. Sad |
Madmancomment:this comment can only come from a truly mad man according to your moniker |
The main route where imported goods are entering Nigeria. This is very bad |
Where are the BMCs ![]() I guess they're short of words |
Nbotee:Abioo. The most expensive law makers in the world. |
Why would this guy engage himself in such a mess. Ali Peters used to be a cool headed guy nah. So sad. Nadabo Energy was a thriving company back then. |
We know. He was one of abacha boys benefiting from oil bunkering proceeds in those dark days. This guy don silence plenty people as one of Abacha's Mafias in those days, hobnobbing with abacha children and almustapha. I think the blood of the innocent is now beginning to cry, with what has been making the rounds on ibori's loot lately. Was he the only governor who looted? No. Was he the only politicians who stole and stashed Nigerian money in foreign bank accounts? No. It's pay back time for Ibori. We will paste all the names of those who stole our money ahead of 2023 for those gullible followers of the wicked politicians to see. The disgrace ibori is seeing is second to none. This is just the beginning. Next in line would be bola tinubu. God of vengeance never sleeps nor slumber. It could take time in the eyes of man before He strikes...but He will definitely strike. |
I don't believe this news because boko haram has been technically defeated. Buratai said so, before he raised a bombshell when he was about exiting service that, boko haram can't be defeated in 20 years. I wish a sane government could gain power and arrest these guys for misleading Nigerians |
Buhari would soon use instruments of government to deal with you. Soon, we would hear in the news...efcc is investigating elrufai for his activities during the pdp administration as FCT minister. Some myopic people thought it was Ganduje who impeached SLS, abi na dethrone sef. They didn't know it was buhari who did so, even though he's always been silent about it. Religious bigot like him. Only states not practising almanjiris in the north have low level of people living in poverty and low level of crime in the region. |
Xenry:...but she said she welcomes comments from mature minds. This your comment get 'k' leg oo |
