I'm not interested in any other religion like i said earlier,just in case reading is hard for you too.I just have questions i am sure christians who think deep have.If you can't educate,gravitate to another post.I'm sure your facadeous sarcasm will be appreciated there
@Enigma, I apologize.I titled it I dare because of people who would first go on the defence instead of tackling the heart of the questions i have.Im not issuing a challenge.I simply want to know if any one has answers and if not,how you deal with these questions in your walk with Christ.I would really like to hear your view on the matter.

@enigma, Please understand what I am getting at here.I am not asking you to tell me how you adjust to these anomilies,neither am I challenging the way others do.All i am saying is there must be christians out there who have asked themselves these questions and have gotten answers. I just want to know what answers you got.What did the spirit tell you in response to the questions you asked?

I recently realized that most Christians don't think about WHY they are Christians.Have you ever challenged the tenants of Christianity? Have you ever asked yourself who God really is and if he exists? I've had questions that have been on my mind since i became a born again christian and I need answers because no one has provided any satisfactory answers as far as i know.
I don't want religious answers, I don't want holistic views, I want to know the truth and I don't want biblical evidence because the bible in itself has a lot of contradictory information.If Christians have a personal relationship with God as so many of them claim then this shouldn't be too hard for them.God still speaks to his people right? right,

Is the God of the old testament the same God of the new testament?
If he is,why is there such a huge difference between them? why did the God of the old testament order women and children of rival nations killed? why not just the men?
Doesn't the bible say that God doesn't change? if they are both one and the same God,then didn't he change?
are there come people created specifically for hell fire? does God create some of us knowing where we will end up and what kind of life we will live? the bible says that Judas Iscariot was destined to betray Jesus.Are there people born for a particular evil purpose? why does God create them?

If God is all knowing and all seeing,didn't he know that the Lucifer would turn out to be his greatest adversary?why did he still go ahead to create him?
Why didn't he destroy him when he turned against him?

Why would God create humans and place them where the devil could get to them?
Why does the devil put up such a fight to win souls and God seems to do nothing? its the devil's voice we hear louder than God's voice; I'm not saying that God should fight dirty,but he is God,why can't he fight fair? many people are perishing because he doesn't have to prove himself to anyone right?

you all say faith please God but the same bible says that faith is a gift given to us by God, so how can we blame those that don't have faith? if its a gift,do we have to ask for it?
why is it that when i make negative confessions,i see the result faster than when i make positive confessions? does God enjoy making things hard for his people? does he enjoy seeing the struggle?
these are a few questions that i have, I dare those Christians who arnt afraid to ask questions about their faith to answer me.

@sonya4all, I understand where you are coming from.Christianity these days has become a fund rasing platform to the detriment of the Gospel of Christ. There are some things that the bible says God DETESTS.That's a rather strong word and it means to abhor or hate something;one of those things is the explotation of the weak in this case,the spiritually weak, in this regard,yeah,what some of these pentecostal churches does makes God sick but it doesn't mean he loves them any less, He simply detests their practices.God has a funny way of working even in the messiest churches.He looks for those who have faith and he is compelled to honour it because it is faith that pleases him.There are people in these churches that come seeking God witha true heart.God is often right there to meet them regardless of the way things are done.Jesus did sit with sinners after all and said he had come for them and not for the ones who were sound.

Christianity isn't a religion dude, its a life style and the fact about the matter is that most of the so called ''religious crises' that has occured is actually a product of either political conspiracies or social agendas, religion is simply a facade used to cover the real reason behind the brutal killing sprees over the last decade, I still maintain that if we as men have reached our limit,we should ask God to step in,

PRAYER, I see a lot of people sympathising and shaking their heads form side to side at the sight of bodies stacked high and the crowd of wailing mothers and fathers, I see people analyzing the politcal drama,proffering solutions that end once the agitated group disperses, i see people cowering in fear, ducking into corners with thier busy phones,making frantic plans to leave the country, I see the same spirit of non chalance that possesses our leaders possessing most of us, we have seen so much blood its made us hard,so much slaughter that we shrug our shoulders at the masacre, what this nation needs is prayer, An extended bought of prayer that will bring the forces at work donw to its knees,prayer that will clear out the evil in high places and bring in the will of God, God is looking for a man who will stnad in the gap for this nation, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! what affects someone a thousand miles away will affect YOU some day.W have gotten to the point where we all are feeling the pinch.I call for prayer that is ceaseless.At work,at home,in your shops,in the church,in the market, wherever you are take time to pray for this nation, The God factor is needed NOW more than ever! I haven't gotten a scriptural answer so far.You all do realize that when the Isrealites possessd the land of cannan,they had to fend off one invading army after another? Now,why didnt they just sit back and pray when they were being attacked? I know that a lot of times,God fought the battle for them but in some instances,they had to fight the enemy by themselves.
Is that just an old testament thing? What would God expect us to do if we were caught in the inter religious war? Does he expect that we fight back or lay down arms? I want scriptural backing for the answer to this, Its raelly important, please,mature christians in the house, step forward!

The bibles says that we should love our enemies and pray for them.In the face of the recent Jos crises and its aftermath of planned revenge schemes do you think that it is biblical that christians should fight back if caught in the cross fire of another religious crises? Or are they supposed to fold thier hands like stephen did and pray for the soul of our enemies while they are being hacked to death?

i frankly don't care about the figures as long as he is earnign at least 20 grand more than whatever it is im earning!

I personally think that this is one of those verses where there are no ambiguous interpretations.Paul as far as I am concerned could have been a misogynist. He talked against women leaving their hair uncovered in the church,refrained women from preaching in the churches and basically put women in the 'service' class, I think he had issues with women!

while God expects that the emphasis on beauty should be internal in terms of character development and spiritual advancement,I also know that he doesn't say that women should not beautify themselves, this was Paul's PERSONAL opinion and not a word given by the holy spirit; Esther in the bible went through all the beautification rituals in her time and because of that was chosen to be the king's wife.

Ladies should take care of their personal appearance with what they have at hand.Avoid over making up;it only masks the true beauty God has given you instead of enhancing it.And while yáll at it,don't forget to beautify your character and spiritual person too

@FILANI, dude,I totally get your point and I just want to say that I never said there were no good guys out there or that there were no guys out there who would be ready to sacrifice anything for their women, I was merely giving an answer to men who ahve the audacity to say that naija women don't have anything to offer or men who have certian negative stereotypes about women.The man I'm going out with changed my negative stereotypes about men and made me believe that there are good men out there, If you're one of them,good for you, if you're not, then my reply initially was meant for you!

I don't know about the rest of the men out there but I have a man who does all those things except agree with everything I say.He tells me when I mess up flat out even when it makes me mad, and Yeah,he is broke, for now, but he's worth the wait!

There are too many streotypes about naija girls and it's really becoming annoying.How about those girls who pay for a guy's clothes,food,bills,pay for the guy to take them out,pay when the guy takes them out, how about those girls who literally bend over for their men when it comes to love? ain't they naija? they don't count now right? I'm getting married in June folks and I don't want to wear a white wedding dress.
