Family / Re: My Wife Believes I Am Occultic by Etiyeokwe: 10:18am On Jan 28, 2022
Bro... you're a calm man. In fact, you're an understanding fellow.

Your wife has been brainwashed by one so called prophet. Most of the self made prophets are home wreckers.

She has to stop moving from prophets to prophets, telling them what happens in your family. It's by telling them that they penetrate her. If she continues that way, I am afraid she will compromise sexually
Take a strong stand as a man to avert any impending doom.

Good luck

I can actually relate and like you rightly said, "you do not want to strain the relationship."

Remain resolute not to drive the car again. She can still give you a ride but ensure you don't contribute whenever she wishes to park somewhere. Also get down immediately she gets down and form buying things too.
Health / Re: DELSU Final Year Law Student Drowns In Hotel Swimming Pool 2 Weeks To Graduation by Etiyeokwe: 8:51pm On Nov 09, 2020
This incident happened on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2020 and not on the 6th as reported by the reporter. He wrote his first paper on Monday, 2nd November, which was jurisprudence. He was billed to graduate on the 12th.

Again, he was an Ijaw guy. He was an entertainer...a good one.

Rest in Peace, Jephizy. Your death broke the hearts of all the students of Oleh campus. Till date, we are yet to get over the shock.

RIP boy...
Health / Re: Please Help Me, I'm Suffering From Staphylococcus by Etiyeokwe: 3:33pm On Aug 08, 2020
People do not learn. Google all the different types of stds to know whether staphylococcus is one of them.

Staphylococcus is not std. A five year old child is capable of contracting staph. Heberlists are just making money. It is very hard to see an adult who doesn't have staph. It is just like malaria. All you need is to control it once a while.

Do not destroy yourself with antibiotics.

Make a research.

Nairaland / General / Re: Have You Ever Had A Near Death Experience? by Etiyeokwe: 3:57pm On May 09, 2020
Yes. July 5th, 2019. I entered okada and within few minutes, we had an accident. Till today, I couldn't understand why the Aboki who drove the okada applied break at the middle of the road, even when there was no obstruction or threat from other road users. I found myself rolling on the tarred road. About three other motorcyclists rammed into us. How I managed to dive into a nearby bush was a miracle.
Next was to jump on my feet. I tried to scrutinize myself. My trousers were torn. My long sleeve shirt was torn in the left hand side. The more I scrutinized myself the more I discovered more bruises: my knee, hand, ankle, etc. I managed to go home. When I got to the house, I removed my shirt and trousers and laid on the sofa. All I wanted was to sleep so I could rest well, but then something told me to go to a pharmacist for first aid. I got up, dressed up and went to one of my guys who is a pharmacist. The pain was becoming much on the way.
I narrated the incident to him when I got there. He applied some chemicals on the bruises and also packaged some drugs for me. After this, we engaged in a conversation. Soon, I began to feel dizzy. I began to feel serious pain all over my body. I lost interest in the conversation.

The next thing I remembered was when someone jacked me up with his two hands, shouting uncle uncle while shaking me vigorously. I opened my eyes and I found out that I was on the floor. Heat all over my body. He later told me how I collapsed and fell down from a desk. He made arrangements and took me to a hospital.
What I saw in the other side.
I discovered that there are lots of people in the other side. They seem to be more than those who are here. Everyone was very busy. They minded their own business. Everyone moved with a speed.

July 5th, 2019; a day I tasted death.

Career / Re: Differences Between: Sack, Lay-off, Retrenchment And Fire. by Etiyeokwe: 3:46pm On Apr 29, 2020
Sack and fire = gross misconduct committed. The consequence upon which you may never secure a job in a reputable company. No pay off.

Lay off and retrenchment = no offence committed. Company maybe in distress. Some money can be paid to encourage you.

No one...I repeat...no one can access your money with your account name and account number. The only thing that can expose you to danger is when you give out your atm card details, including your pin.

If your account number can give people access to your fund, a lot of people would have lost their money.

Family / Re: My Brother-In-Law Dips His Hands Inside My Pot Of Soup by Etiyeokwe: 6:13pm On Feb 06, 2020
Op, you are not far from a bad woman. From agreeing with your husband that no visitor will stay beyond two weeks in your house to your brother-in law should not go to the kitchen to scoop food when he is hungry. You noticed this when you were still dating but pretended to endure it in order not to lose out. Three months into the marriage, you want him to stop.
Op, what are you?
Do you have parents? What about siblings? If your mother comes to your house, she should not stay beyond two weeks? What about your mother -in -law?
I used to visit my elder brother when I was in school. She would always ask me to go to the kitchen and take food. Today, I am married. I have a cousin brother who usually comes to our house. Sometimes my wife will be in the store when he visits. She usually releases the house key to him and asks him to go the house and eat.
Sorry Op, are you from Mbaise? Those people? Dem sabi only me and my husband.

Crime / Re: Man Stabbed To Death For Wooing House Wife In Delta by Etiyeokwe: 3:46pm On Sep 25, 2019
Currently in Jeddo. This thing happened in oil road...though next to hospital road.

The information I got this morning was that the deceased was caught making love with the woman in her matrimonial home.

The information here States that the deceased was invited by the woman, meaning that he was lured by the woman while her husband and his brother laid ambush.

Something is wrong somewhere...

Rape is a criminal offence which penalty the law prescribes.

Asking for specific damages of an apology and N10m by the plaintiff is uncalled for.

If the defendant is found guilty, he faces the wrath of law. Therefore, the Dakolos should go for justice instead of targeting personal recompense.

[quote author=perpeling22 post=81922384]Thank God for the revelation. It means God loves you and your family to reveal such to you.
Well the kids might just be representing either your family or ....
For washing a clothe, check your life or that of your family and see if there is anything like sin you need to do away with. You need to do away with sin to be right with God.
But it will be better to consult a priest who is deep spiritually to give you the full meaning or if you have charismatic member, you can consult them.

A wrong need to be put right.

My own understanding though.

Thank you...

Consult the elders, they will lead you on.

Religion / What Does It Mean To Wash Clothes In The Dream? by Etiyeokwe: 12:11pm On Sep 04, 2019
Frankly speaking, I do not belong to those who go in search of interpretation of their dreams. Though I believe there are dream interpreters.

Last night, I had a dream where I washed clothes. My main concern was not washing the clothes but the venue. It was in the church...at the entrance of my parish. Mass was going on and the priest was trying to transform the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ. Catholics understand what I mean.
The clothes I washed belonged to our two kids. While the mass was going on, I was busy washing them- about four of them. The priest was looking at me while doing what he was doing. He did not utter a word. When it was time for the congregation to come out to receive Holy Communion, I took the clothes outside to rinse them with clean water. I have been trying to make a meaning out of this dream since morning.

Food / Re: Which Is More Nutritious, Pap Or Custard? by Etiyeokwe: 6:47am On Aug 23, 2019
Never you compare natural food with processed one. Pap is healthier and more nutritional anytime any day.
In fact I ensure that my wife does not give our kids custard and goldenmorn. They drink pap, especially the guinecorn type.
Our kids are very healthy, smart and strong.

Education / Re: Help....i Have Lost Interest In School (pls Hear My Story) by Etiyeokwe: 10:22pm On Jun 20, 2019
First, how did you get admission to read law? Did you write WAEC yourself? What about Jamb? If you did all these things by yourself and succeeded, then you are intelligent.
Second, you're a freelancer who makes money almost all daily basis. Don't think this affects you in one way or the day? You are already beginning to feel that you make money without being a lawyer. Why would you sit out on tests? You feel it's not important. It does not matter anymore cramming cases and sections.
What you need is small self discipline. Bend down and read your books. Attend lectures, do your assignments and partake in tests. Your handwriting is not the issue. I have a very bad handwriting but I am in my final year, reading law, even when I have my wife and children to attend to. Pls reconsider your decision.

R.I.P man.

Definitely not far from cult issue. My guess though.
The Obosi case comes to mind. He left for Ghana and came back last December after ten years, hopefully to get married. He was killed.

If you like, play strong man today, run to America tomorrow and come back in 20yrs time...karma awaits you.
