Education / Re: Nigerian Mom Cries Out, Shares Chat With Son Who Tried To Defraud Her by euphorbia(f): 12:01pm On Jul 07, 2022 |
Not supporting this guy but shits happens in Nigerian universities especially at administration blocks. Pay points demand tips from students to process any document. Workers collect let's say 10k from students but write 8k on receipt. If you question them, they won't process your request. This happen mostly in state owned higher institutions. |

Crime / Re: Lagos Mob Burns 30 Okadas, Beats Motorcyclist For Killing Pedestrian by euphorbia(f): 1:04pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
So this topic turned to tribal and ethnic argument. Meanwhile, the okada riders on that road include both yoruba igbo and hausa. And most of them drive 'one way'. This isn't the first time accident occur as a result of wrong way drive on that road. What amuse me about most Nigerians is that...if a wrong act favours them, they won't see anything. But if it doesn't, hell will loose.. Okada riders carry both yoruba, hausa and igbo on that road and pass the wrong way just the bit the traffic but they won't complain and correct then. So 'we' encouraged them. The next accident looming on that road is the keke napep passing wrong way. Then, i wonder who we will blame. |

PPR alert ooooo SOWP for me and 2 visiting visa for the kids. Application March 1 Upfront medical early april Medicals added may 19 Do not reply message feb 10 Opened feb 12 I just thank God for coming through for us. When we did the medical, i didnt upload cos i am always lazy to visit that site...it can be frustrating when it keeps sending you back to the first page. More over, i didnt know how to attach the documents until a mama here explained to me ( after a mouth). But fortunately, the medicals was already passed when i checked my account. I applied for gcms note but eligibility was blank. I contacted liana ( thanks so much) to help with how to contact them....i ended up not sending anything cos i didnt have any inspiration on what to type. Around mid January,Hubby called to make enquiry but he wasnt attended to since he isn't a representative. I then filled a form to make him a rep. He was added and when he called, he didnt get a reasonable answer . He planed to call again after a week. Then i was just going through my email on feb 11 i saw do not reply messages. And now, all i can say is thank God for keeping our minds together during the silent period( almost a year!) 16 Likes |

Good day house. Biko, I am confused about this VFS operation of returning passport. I sent my passport on 30 October using 2 way courier service by DHL but was received by VFS on 2 November. I have gotten LOI and counterfoil. The last message VFS sent to me was that my envelope has been collected from VFS Lagos on 24 November. However, DHL said they didn't receive any package on my behalf form VFS.... Egbami oooo. What is going on? They never pick their call. Even mails are replied byauto generated machine. You can't go to their office too |

mrstheo:. You just need to relax and take a lot of fluid. if you can't tolerate hot, take normal temperature. it doesn't have to be hot cos it won't melt the milk out. meanwhile get formula for now. 2 Likes |

BS , So I went for my Thursday antenatal appointment and the crowd was alarming ( thanks to the previous public holiday on Thursday in Lagos). I waited sha till my turn and doctor said since I was 39 weeks 4 days, she will schedule me for induction cos of high bp....previously, my bp has been increasing per week. I had the same issue too with my first. so I was admitted with about 17 patients for the day...9 for cs ,6 for induction, 2 for bed rest....the doctors were already tired by the end of the day and they were on call 8am to 8 am the following day with the hope that they will attend to all of us on Friday. My catheter for induction couldn't be fixed on Thursday night and no doctor had my time till Friday night....the doctor was harsh to me at first(his nature) and I simply told him to calm down and smile if he is going to attend to me....by Saturday morning, the catheter removed and I was 4 cm....meanwhile, the doctors were not through with the scheduled cs patients (2 to go) so you can imagine the hunger on them. my water was bursted and contractions started. at about 7cm, naso 2 young midwives entered my labour room .I had this contraction and my hand hit one of them and she hit me back strongly. when the contraction finished, I sent her out and told her I don't want to see her again in that room. at 10 cm,baby refused to come out after several pushes for over an hour. my pelvic was swollen, the doctors couldn't read my baby's heartbeat and the doctors advised I go for a cs.I was already scared cos I thought I would loss my baby. the contractions were so much that I couldn't hold back the pushes again. during the section a matron had to push the baby back from my vagiinall and baby came out screaming so much. naso I suffer hunger strike from Friday afternoon still monday. 25 Likes 1 Share |

belladsweet: yes please go with someone if available. the most important thing is that don't be too comfortable in a shop or area no matter how friendly they are(na lie). if you don't know the road to the place (like in Lagos), ask for directions but DON'T EVER buy all in a shop you are lead too.in fact, buy just one thing there. |
