This is deep-

It is still no excuse for the dogs among men to break their marriage vows by dipping their wayward preeks into every hole that drips moisture. And for you single ladies, stay away from people's husbands. Don't be unfortunate.

It is sad that we are living in a patriarchal society where the odds are deliberately stacked against women. What is sauce for the goose is poison for the gander. Where I come from, a cheating man can commit adultery and get away with it, but a cheating woman will endanger the lives of her husband and children if she commits same adultery and does not confess. The husband and kids may fall sick and die, or his business may suffer severe set backs if he keeps making love to her and eating her food in her unconfessed state of adultery. I don't know if it is programmed on the day of the traditional wedding or of it is an ancestral covenant with unknown deities.

Whatever it is, it just makes me mad! It is so unfair. There should be equal punishment for adulterers angry
Sorry o, are you from Benin? I am from Benin and this story is familiar to me

Shut up. You’re the one displaying stud1ty on this forum not that guy. No country in the world rejects its citizens no matter what, especially in a time like this.

Most of you, your real problem is poverty, if you have ever traveled or have a loved abroad, I’m sure you would be happy if Nigeria refused them from coming home and ask them to die in Italy, Spain or USA.

Is this the same virus in USA, China, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Turkish, Iran, etc.
Don’t worry, when you contract it and it kills you or anyone around you, I will be here to call it audio virus. Stupid pessimists. Bitter and negative souls. If you had heard that 200 Nigerians dies of coronavirus, I’m sure you would be happy, so that you will see reasons to wail as usual. Tufiakwa

Politics › Re: Covid19: Obaseki Is The Most Foolish Governor I Know In Nigeria by evansjeff(m): 7:48pm On Apr 05, 2020
Imagine those saying there’s no need to close borders because neighboring states have closed, we are talking about inside Edo state, nothing to show that the disease is in town, even when 9 cases and 1 death have been confirmed officially, there are many others not tested yet. Crowds all over the major markets here, buses are still working, everyone is busy spreading it. This Obaseki is just clueless

The governor is being rational.
Where has total lock down worked in Nigeria? Lock down without mass testing and palliative measures?
What stupid rationality, have you seen the huge crowd in New Benin market, Uselu markets and the rest? It is until it turns to what can’t be controlled?

. States with lockdown are increasing more than Edo daily. So leave story...
Because they’re been identified, so Edo should wait until it has been shared to everybody

Look at it from this angle, Without lockdown, Edo has 9 cases while locked down states are having cases almost daily.

Locked down States are just on audio.
It's an all or none thing. For now, no state is on "all" lockdown if we will be honest with ourselves and there is no state in Nigeria that can survive "all" lockdown for 7days. It's kinda timed one, people move around at certain period of the day. I wonder if the virus is circadian.
Lockdown while people are asked to queue for relief materials. This kind of approach for me is 2-0 against the masses.

But Obaseki's style is the sincere one afaic. It's 1-1 if you ask me cool
They shud rather put crowd control measures in place and intensify sensitization on hygiene and the virus itself.
Covik one nine is not something Naija can manage
This doesn’t relate to the original post at all

As far say neighbouring states dey on a lock down
So there is no cause for alarm
What is this one saying? Have you been to Newbenin market? Uselu market and the rest? Have you crowds, what has that got to do with neighboring states? So we share it and kill ourselves because other states are locked?

The government, led by APC have used this coronavirus pandemic to create a avenue to loot funds. Locking us down so we die of hunger and starvation. Palative measures are my right not a privilege. Nairaland call them out, make so much noise let the international community hear you before hunger will kill you or your love's one. Don't forget a lot of persons are already infested but your government won't tell you the true. Try and stay safe but speak out. You are a Nigerian not zommbie, wake up.
Political b1got, don’t stay at home. It is until you contract it or someone you love contracts it you will know it’s not a scam.

What is wrong with this Obaseki? His speaker brought this virus to Edo state and it has continued to spread yet Obaseki has refused to do anything meaningful about the virus. Everyone is still going about their usual business. Even states with no cases have already declared total lock down. Edo now has 9 cases. We are watching.

I have always known that WHO was against wearing of face mask by the general public so as to make it available for health workers considering the growing shortage worldwide. Not that it’s not effective in preventing the virus.

WHO officials on Monday said they still recommend people not to wear face mask, unless they are sick with convid-19, or caring for someone who is sick
You should be old enough to know that they want the face mask available for health workers considering the growing shortage world wide.

Why can't they say that the church is giving 400million naira to all their members nationwide. Imagine the spark this will create in other denomminations and religion if they lead this way .
Pls we are glad this pandemic is happening cuz now its shows that we have pastorpreneur not men of God .
Sir, he donated to three different hospitals not just Redeemed Medical Centre, check very well. In any case, even the Redeemed Medical Centre, who will be treated there? Is it aliens? Are they not Nigerians? Drop the hate please.

But wetin be the work of police and civil defense if na soldiers dem dey use enforce common lockdown of unarmed citizens within the state.

Soldiers have been bastardized in this country to the level of Vigilante.
Keep quiet please, all you guys do is complain, wail and cry over everything. Go watch CNN, BBC or Aljazeera, all over world, soldiers are involved in this fight including enforcing lock down. Besides, this happened in Ghana not even Nigeria.
