Yes China will come and build them for you in 2050. China does not have money anymore to give loans for charity. They offered you loans to build you your first OPVs and I don't think they will ever offer you any loans anytime soon.
Meanwhile, our project of building our proudly made in SA OPVs is just on the door step to kick start. The shipyard is currently only busy renovating and extending their stores to be well equiped before the major project begins.

The idea that China is building all our vessels for us is an utterly ridiculous fallacy. Why,I can clearly remember that China is scrambling to acquire more vessels to safeguard its hold on the South-China sea and silk trade route, tell me,how can a country in such a dire need, leave its own problems to serve the interests of another country?.

you are going to be building destroyers and an aircraft carrier by 2020?
Wow
I thought you once claimed that OPVs are for weak and small navies,Now when it comes to 'Project Biro',OPVs have suddenly become vessels of national prestige?.
You are going to build OPVs by 2018?
rather unbelievable.

Unfortunately you haven't done project management to understand that there are short and long term project in any organisation. Project Biro same as other long term projects in SAN only started as envisioned dream and now everything is starting to materials with companies already about to start the project. The project will be win-win project since it will as well boast the economy in the country.

SA is not in a hurry with the project, yet the project is becoming a reality. It is better that matter how long it takes we are finally heading somewhere and we will once more built our own ships.
Better late than never.

By the time you start building your {imaginary} IPVs and OPVs,we will be constructing destroyers and assembling an aircraft carrier.

Dude, dont you have something better to do with your time?

I am all for actual debate about military equipment

But such pointless arguments?

SAN has said it is getting them, tenders (and funds) have been released for the task and a Naval Base has been built for them to operate from, while the SAN has allready put plans in place to hire the extra 600 sailors who will crew them.

It is obvious that Biro is going to be completed on schedule.
We shall see then.

Do you think south africa cares if ties are severed?
Every time Nigeria freaks out diplomatically it makes us look good - we appear stately, neutral, unemotional while you seem irrational, petulant and short sighted
You forget, Nigeria needs South Africa - we dont need you.
You are a fine one to talk, afterall, you depend on a Nigerian forum to survive and spread ridiculous lies.
As for diplomacy,i say 'lol'!,even the international community was apalled at the level of undiplomatic and amateur behaviour displayed by SA when your foreign minister came out to rail and rant about unfortunate incidents that happened months ago, using painful episodes of our war against BH as medium to vent anger.that is what i call childish and petulant!.
SA needs us more than we need you.

And then they'll deny doing it the same way they embarrassed themselves and b*tched out, by denying that they recalled their Ambassador from S.A
They got cold feet after other African Countries didn't flow them.
Recalling our Ambassador/High Commissioner was a grave decision considering that no Nigerian was actually killed, nevertheless,it was the decision of the Senate Assembly to invite our Ambassador over for routine questioning. After which our Ambassador along with the Minister for Foreign affairs spent hours begging the Senate Assembly on your behalf, you should be grateful to them, really.
We really didnt want other African countries to do the same, afterall,we also have investments in SA and other SADC countries,if all African countries neglect SA,it would affect our investments and citizens in not only SA but also SADC region.

Bwahaha…Nigeria is more of a poor country than South Africa even China. In Brics,SA comes second when it comes to the level of poverty.
So how do you explain this one.
http://www.heretical.com/cannibal/nigeria.html
http://www.dailystormer.com/nigeria-restaurant-served-roasted-human-heads/
SA has 50 million people{half of which are hospitalized due to either HIV,mob attack or hard drug relapse},while Nigeria has 170 million mouths to feed.Yet we have double the size of your economy, and triple in FDI.
China has a billion people, yet they are way out of your league.
You can continue quoting your voodoo economical statistics that only exist on a white pages of an A4 sheet of paper. But fact remains that we are the biggest, richest and most powerful without needing to dig tunnels into the earth core searching for gold and diamond.
Your sources are dry,Nigerians do not eat human meat, there are several human right organisations in Nigeria, yet none have ever reported cannibalism.

I believe it, HIV spread like wild fire. There are many of them who get injured and those who help them do not exercise caution to avoid contact with blood. Moreover, one woman did not necessarily belong to one sexual partner. They were raped by various men at the same time. Whoever, feels like sleeping with one of them would choose randomly among the women.
And how do you know all these?.
It is quite hard to believe that all BH fighters are HIV positive, surely, even jihadists have a limit to the number of virgins they can rape, afterall, they wouldnt have been able to wreak havoc if they were drained to exhaustion by constant 'tumble between the sheets'.
Also, from the evidence uncovered after they were dislodged from communities,we can safely conclude that BH has a moderately sophisticated medical wing,so therefore, contaminated blood is properly managed.
Learn to look beyond the half baked propaganda being churned out by misguided media outlets.

Man this must not take your breath at all. Most Nigerians are cannibals, they eat human flesh and dog meats. Never trust any of their dishes and even my cousins have told me that. Some are reported to be exhuming dead bodies and eat them because of hunger.
Man,this is untrue.Nigerians do not eat human meat, neither do we exhume dead bodies, arent you taking it too far?
I'm greatly disturbed at the falsehood you constantly insist on peddling on this grand forum.
I agree that the events which occured at that restaurant were quite unfortunate, but that isnt a yardstick to measure the appetite or choice of delicacy of all Nigerians.
Nigerians are no more hungry than South Africans,so I dont understand what your misguided campaign is all about.
Yes,there are tribes that eat dog meat, but that is more of a traditional delicacy, just like some south africans that eat roasted worms.
If Nigerians were cannibals, then we wont have a population of 170 million.

Pure lies. BH isn't even a fixed organisation. It has factions.
No such.
ISIS and Al-Quaeda arent fixed groups too, they both have different factions united under one chosen leader-the 'caliph emeritus'.No terrorist group is a fixed unilateral sect.
Shekau III is the guy currently holed up somewhere in the Mandara mountains{or according to reports, fleeing deep into the arid plains of somalia},Shekau I and II were both taken out of commission by precision assaults of the NA STF.In the beginning we targetted their leadership hierachy thinking that it would topple the entire sect formation-much like what the US led coalition is currently doing in Iraq, but they proved slier and more resilient.
But at last,as we can now see,BH is in its dying days. The rest,as I say, remains history.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 9:14am On May 14, 2015
mzilakazi:
So, you haven't kill him after all?
Shekau is a fixed name for any leader of BH,If Shekau III were to die today, his replacement would also bear the name 'Shekau'.
For example: if the said 'replacement's name were to be originally Mohammed Al-Khalifa,on assuming leadership of the sect, the name would simply change to [s]Mohammed Al Khalifa Bin Abu-bakr Ibin Shekau[/s].Such is the way of islamic terrorists.Do you now understand?,yes?,good!.
We also cannot rule out the assumption that it may be his 'doubles' that were killed in NA raids, because frankly,it doesnt make sense that shekau accompanied his troops to assault an heavily guarded target such as Konduga, leaders of terrorist groups are always known to be highly insecure and paranoid,it is more in shekau's style to allow his men do the heavy fighting and then 'occupy' the town before he dares to personnally venture into such a town.

I'm certain that hundreds of BH/ISWA fighters died in the aggressive confrontation that saw them forcefully repelled.Maiduguri can never fall,it is an impossibility considering the high concentration of sophisticated military hardwares and highly trained security personnels, including the most feared field operatives of the DSS,SBS,JSTF that have been stationed there.

Eben with his mouth, confessed that they flew NAF gunships and helicopters, transporting the strike force. They used gunships to attack, they tracked and attacked the enermy in a warzone. Is that not enough to prove to you that he was directly involved.
Your new master, Mr Barlow.
Some of the new hardwares we purchased{including REVA MRAPs,Gazelle helicopters and even SAMIL multipurpose heavy trucks} were new to the inventory, therefore,we needed relevant skill in operating them, but the problem was: we had no time to learn,it would take weeks{at minimum} to even learn how to properly navigate an armed gazelle!.
The SA PMCs were learned in operating these hardwares mainly because some of the logistics were south african made hardwares.
Hence, the south african PMCs were mandated to assist our air and land forces in operating some of the new equipments on the battle field until such a time that we mastered them ourselves, this may have included flying of helicopters.

Your government is now broke - oil prices have crashed - you have no more money, you need to borrow just to pay wages!!

SANDF is in difficulties - BUT IS STILL MORE CAPABLE THAN THE NIGERIAN MILITARY

Get it into your head, our standards are higher than yours, our "state of decline" is a level of proficiancy that Nigerian can never nor has ever acheived.

Also, your numbers are heavily inflated. 2 or beechking (for VIP Transport), 2-3 Alpha jet, 1-2 Gazelle etc

Same old same old from the resident clown.
Oil price havent 'crashed',as of today,a barrel of brent crude sells at $62.it is increasing per month.
