It's so wonderful and sweet to be in gatherings where the gifts of the spirits are all at work. People speak in tongues but do not have an idea that they COULD be passing a message to someone in need of it. Someone with the gift of interpretation of tongues ,interpretes the tongues and the message is understood.

If you have nt been or are nt in such gatherings pls find one and you ll enjoy the Holy Spirit and His gifts at work..

I believe that speaking in tongues is biblical and from God but as usual, the church of today has corruptted it.
This days, men of God behave as if God does not hear English again. Immediately prayer starts, you'll start, next thing you'll hear is pray in the holy spirit, then the rabbababashobobo mazamaza lekuleukumarama will start.
And it's funny cos everybody is gifted with the gift of tongues but no body can interpret. Like I thought interpretation of tongues is also a gift of the spirit.
Why is it only tongues that every dick and Harry is gifted with, few people have the gift of healing, they cannot discern spirits, no gift of wisdom or understand, abi is it prophesy?
The most annoying is if you are praying in English your thing, they'll come and lay hands on you and start commanding you to speak in tongues. I went to believers loveworld fellowship one day and they told the usual first timers to wait behind. Only for the sister's to start laying hands on all of us telling us to speak in tongues. What nonsense, what if they was a Muslim who was invited by his friend.
Again, I thought the holy spirit doesn't dwell in a sinful person. 90% of these guys speaking in tongues are liars, fornicators, cheater. We know them, we see them.
Finally, that tongues thing is mostly faked by people. I know cos under pressure I have faked speaking it and it's annoying to remember. Also, if you listen to them, you'll know that a particular tongue is been spoken continuously by a particular person all their life.
E.g sister Gloria is always saying yayayayayabezerere suzaya while brother Joseph is always saying rabarobosenterebe.

I was at the MBA office today and there were lots of people there, some doing top up, some rolling over, etc. The lady that attended to me gave me evasive answers that I was not satisfied with and if I ask more, she will tell me to research and I'm like I am here. Why can't you give me an answer? Why are you asking me to research? Especially with regards to if the investment is insured. We were already having an argument until a senior officer came and that one too did not give a straight answer to the questions. I did not want to argue further as I had other places to go to but they did not convince me with their answers so please who knows about their insurance policy?

I rather think it is a lack of vision rather than a lack of resources that hinders the establishment of new families tjrough the institution of marraiges.

Unions, marraiges are all about purpose. Two people coming together to accomplish something. It is in the coming together that resources are generated through the multiplication of wisdom and effort.

I don't know from where this Nigerian concept of 'making it' before marraige came from but it is not presemt in any other society but one so monetised as ours in Nigeria. It is totally wrong. If you can make it on your own you probably donot need to marry.

We need a proper perspective on this thing. The provision of man in marraige is not limited to resources. His primary purpose in the marraige is the provision of leadership, the primary driver of vision and for Christians the primary link with God. Both are responsible to work and resource towards its success.

And ehen your partner is working and resourcing you will be comoelled to resoect that partner as an equal stakeholder in the marraige. That is why we constantly advocate that women create value within themselves in approaching marraige and men discard their traditional patriachial stand which is equally useless.
