…They also said they didn't have equipment for the stomach x ray. They said that blood started entered his brain but that they will suck it out. They did. They complained that he was not eating. The people at LUTH didn't take good care of him. They gave him different food and his tommy was swollen. The nurses didn't listen to any of the complaint because they claimed we shouldn't teach them their job. They insisted on feeding him through the mouth even when he wasn't digesting it. He gradually deteriorated and was not responding to signs and gestures. He wasn't talking and in the evening of Friday, April 22, 2010 when he died, his body temperature was very high.I'm a doctor and I can confirm that none of the above jargons makes any sense. The problem in cases like this is that the relatives have no clue what the doctors/nurses are doing and have no way of getting more information about their loved one's condition. The doctors on their part are usually too busy or impatient to explain things properly. The end result of this is the relatives believing some meaningless nonsense like " he died because his tommy was swollen" or "because of the food they were giving". If he was bleeding into his brain then his "tommy" was the least of his problems. That's a very, very serious complication, and there's often nothing that can be done to help no matter how much equipment the hospital has. Don't believe me, Google "intracerebral hemorrhage" and see for yourself. |
There are two likely problems: 1. A virus has corrupted your start up files. Solution: You'll need your operating system disc (it came with your laptop) or a pirated copy of windows to repair your OS or reinstall windows. This is purely a software problem and should be relatively cheap to fix. You can even do it yourself. If you choose to reinstall, you'll lose all your data but its the better solution especially if you don't have valuable info trapped in the hard drive. 2. Your hard drive is damaged. Solution: Buy a new hard drive, reinstall windows. How to install windows (vista/7) 0. Plug in your laptop. Don't try this on battery unless you want more problems. 1. Insert the windows dvd 2. Restart your computer 3. Hold down the button to select boot device. (its usually either F2 or F10, and is always written on the screen right after the computer comes on.) Do this as soon as it comes on or it won't work. This will take you to a screen listing various boot devices (e.g. HDD, CD/DVD, Network, USB) 4. Select CD/DVD as the boot device 5. Follow the instructions. At this stage even a monkey can figure out the rest. It's very simple. You're welcome. |
I don't think I have suggested anywhere in my post that speeds will not improve . . .What happened in East Africa after they got their cable last year was that speeds improved immediately, but the price only started falling about 6 months after the cable came online. Expect the same to happen here. |
i think its time we introduced 'austerity measures' to our governments, they spend like wide fire burns, and never have excreta to show. This Sanusi guy is turning out to be the Sadly most Nigerians have been conned into thinking that the subsidy benefits them in some way when all it does is waste money, promote corruption and make a handful of people very, very rich. And this handful of people will keep promoting this lie as long as they can, preying on public ignorance and using groups like the misguided NLC to prevent needed reforms. All subsidies are bad, and anybody who disagrees should have paid more attention in secondary school economics. |
Abeg, where can I get phone parts in Lagos? My Nokia E51 keypad is not working (something about the power i/c) and Nokia Care say they don't have the parts. I'd rather fix the thing myself but no spare parts and no dead E51 to cannibalize. Please help. |
she was a virgin, so we couldnt use comdomPlease explain what you mean by that 'cause I don't understand. Are virgins allergic to condoms or what? |
Quote from: oyinda. on April 23, 2010, 03:25 AMThat's silly. Yes, Nigerian hospitals are rubbish but that's mainly because of lack of investment and the difficult conditions they have to work in. If we keep flying everybody abroad instead of fixing the problems at home then our young doctors will never get the chance to learn. Believe it or not American doctors were once much worse. 1. Sell the car 2. Look for a job 3. Buy some condoms You don't have to marry the girl just because she's pregnant but you should be a man and handle your business. That means acknowledging that its your baby, supporting her psychologically and paying for everything. If you feel she's wife material then you should definitely marry her though. |
Am trying for a baby,am 32yrs and ve been married for a yearModerate exercise will definitely not reduce your fertility. In fact having a healthy weight and being physically fit will significantly improve your chances of getting pregnant quickly. I you've being trying for a year then you probably should see a doctor or gynaecologist though. They can really be helpful at times. |
Her: I love you. Me: Yes, I know, that's great. |
I guess it's too much to ask that some people be sacked or indicted over this. |
