You didn't respond to relevant portions of the post that the NSCDC have two criminal cases in Court, and that they are guardinthe the locus to prevent destruction of evidence. They also provided suit numbers.

If the Court gave an order, and the order is being disobeyed, do you go to threaten bombardment or go back to institute contempt proceedings?

By providing the order here, the Police have not done anything other than what the Csp in question did by flaunting the order at the site.

It is clear the last has not been heard on this matter. We chill.

What do you mean by flaunting? Is it not thesame order that what acknowledge by the head of the NSCDC? The Police are not toothless bulldogs, if u resist their lawfully presence in a place they can use what so ever force necessary to enforce law.
Concerning the claim that they were guiding the mining site for possible tampering of evidence was not in the picture at the time of making the video.

Any issue relating to mining activities in Nigeria is within the policing jurisdiction of the NSCDC according to the act that set it up.

In the case of a homicide within the domain of any mining site, the poloce can conduct investigation, working along with the NSCDC personnels.
It's not the work of the NSCDC to handle homicide cases.
Our security officers need to know where the line is drawn when it comes to carrying out their duty, especially when inter agency collaboration is needed.

The police need not invite over sixty men, including the police and army to carry out investigation which is their lawful duty.

I'm happy you mentioned that the Police are charged with the investigation of Homicide and that was among what brought them to the site and they presented their objective in a civilised manner. Secondly, the Police can not be restricted on an act when the constitution is the over ridding authority that gives them the power to protect lives and property whether mining site or within our territorial water. Before the video started, NSCDS officials were saying that the Police were invading their location. Only this statement is indicting them of poor judgment as the Police did not do such. They later said that the CSP offered to give them bribe which they had no evidence to back their claim if not, it would have been made public. They also said that the CSP threatened to use the army to bombard them but they fail to mention that it was a response to their aggressive confrontation which they clearly refuse to comply to lawful order restraining their presence at the mines.

Yes. The Police have legal backing. All I see is the NSCDC being on the defensive because they have something to hide. One thing is clear about Mining site in Nigeria: it I run by child labour, human trafficking and force labour. Life is 100% God's timing, is only a fool that thinks He has any power of to alter things.
The only way to scale through life smoothly is; TO BE EXTREMELY PATIENT and under that; Inside this life; there is another new life that modernization is constantly creating (SOCIETAL TRENDS).
This trends is what any sensible person should and must desist from (It leads to nowhere but agony and generational bondages).

Whether anyone agree or not; God created this life PERFECTLY and there is nothing you have and will ever do that will not have a result or consequences.
