forget about taste here.. Gold digging is gold digging (simple)

It's not only when a lady scam you that she's being referred to as a gold digger

Any lady who knows she will not date you and keeps fooling you just for her own selfish interest is a gold digger
What about a guy who knows he will not marry you but keeps stringing you along for his own selfish interest?

What Mynd44,shared is the absolute truth.

The other day, I mentioned, ". 2015 will make it exactly 10 years I obtained my first degree, what exactly have I accomplished"? And he responded, " come on! Don't be ungrateful", then he proceeded to list a few of my accomplishments which made me quickly realise how ungrateful I sounded.

Thank God for the wonderful people He blesses us with to help point us in the right direction.

Please try taking stock of the experiences you've had and you will see that you may not be where you proposed to be at this time, but certainly, you are not where you used to be.

Wonderful post.

In addendum:

Respond to posts and not monikers: some people are just too immature to be allowed access to a social forum. You see a post you disagree with, instead of stating your disagreement logically, they attack the poster, store the moniker behind that post, hold a grudge and stalk the moniker. LOL.

You know them, when they suddenly attack you when you make a contribution in any thread. They will not contribute to the thread but make you their contribution. LOL.

undecided

Pls concentrate on the thread as it is not about you either.
If you don't want people with different opinions, then don't comment on threads because there will always be ppl who don't agree with you.

See your mumu self trying to guilt OP into thinking his not spending his money on already wealthy pastor is a crime.
cheesy how deluded can one get?

You have been jumping on my posts, looking for what I don't know nor care to know. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But the hallucinations spewed on this post of yours has revealed the issues you have with yourself.

Madam Coco, I don notice you, I hope you can sleep happy now. grin

Actually, you are not in a position to ask such a question, as this thread is not about you.

One more thing, I don't have whatever it is you have been frantically searching for. So quit your attempts at derailing threads with my posts. cool

Exactly what I wanted to ask? so 10% of your salary can offset your debts, buy baby stuffs ?? undecided

Just as you said, you have to cut expenses, live within your means.. doing this, you will make enough savings. . You can't be in debt and be living an extravagant life, then blame your indebtedness on tithe paying. . undecided
cheesy really it is funny how tron23 is referring to tithing as extravagant lifestyle. cheesy how much is the tithe? Infact, if you van discipline yourself to tithe, it shows you can discipline yourself to manage your finances properly.

But hey, it is his choice and decision to make. I just wonder why he claimed to need advice in the first instance when it was actually encouragement to do what he already proposed to do.

This good wife should get a job and help pay the tithe.
How can only one person be doing everything and she's expecting more or doesn't she know the coming baby is another responsibility too?
You don't know why she isn't working. Why not ask the OP so you can make an informed contribution rather than speculate?
FamilyRe: My Little Dilemma by Evina(f): 6:02pm On Dec 25, 2014
One more thing,

I am quite sure that before you married your wife, you made her believe you both were on the same page, as to spiritual matters.

You let her know tithing is non negotiable. Now the storms of life have come raging, you are looking at the wind instead of staying steadfast.

I am glad she is a good woman, who inspite of the challenges, refuses to compromise. Listen to your wife and the voice of reasoning within you. Remember, he that faints in the day of adversity has little strength. Ask for grace. This one too shall pass. smiley

The thing is this, I have done my calculations and if I follow them from this month, by early March, 2015 I will be be done and even have some extra cash.
But it will be easier to stop all spending including tithe (God please forgive me).
Am just looking for matured responses, thanks in advance.
No you are not.
If you are truthful to yourself, you will admit that you are just looking for encouragement to do what you know is not right. You are looking for endorsements for your error.

You should know better than to seek answers to spiritual things from sources whose spirituality you ain't sure of. You have Gods word, you have the Holy Spirit, you have pastors, you have a wife who seems to have some level of spiritual understanding. Yet, you choose a secular forum for answers.

No brother, you really don't need "mature advice".

In as much as dis is a public forum to learn, i think there should bé a slot dat request for age of OP and d age of d person d story is involved. This will let people to know wat to comment and ignore. Op u have brain and ur friend too, use it!
cheesy
But why insult the op nauw? She mentioned she doesn't support the actions of her friend. Besides, people have different orientations and how they perceive things.

If you observed other posts before mine, even those made by guys, they did not see anything wrong with the actions of the lady.

and hw about he got to knw through some means. Dt wouldn't be nice.

I go with 100% transparency tho. So she can knw the person she's down with and see if she really loves me. Love is choosing to stay with someone irrespective of whatever he/she has done in d past

Buh u gat work on ur maturity tho. Sometimes, people lie to us nt because dey want to or because dey've got some hidden agenda. They do cos they are afraid u wouldn't be able to handle the truth.
Exactly.

Truth is, if you want to know it all, be sure you can handle it all. I mean why can't we just be like Christ and adopt the new creation approach? grin

If you are married, nothing is too much.
Huh? It was actually the marital relationship I had in mind when I opened this thread.

I once heard that a pastor adviced that, if you make a mistake like cheating, genuinely repent and confide in someone you can trust (not your spouse) to relieve yourself of the guilt.

According to him, telling your spouse can cause serious issues you both may not be able to handle. lipsrsealed

Though I believe that what is past is past but that's all the same reason I'll prefer 100% transparency , if he can't accept me and whatsoever has happened in the last then so be it . Anything that you won't be able to tell your spouse is definitely something that could rise up tomorrow.
At the highlighted, of course there is that risk. But, how many people can really handle the dark truths?
