Bruv, Roboto was used as default because it was theirs. I guess they wanted a font of their own!

There are more cooler fonts than Roboto. Even Google knows this.

it's with the taste of the user. Not everyone uses stylish font if that's what you're referring to as "not matured" Some fonts are more matured than default fonts.

I changed my font and don't use stylish types like some folks I have seen here.

Checkout fonts like SEGOE, HelveticaNueu Con57, ITCAvantGarde, Futura, Gill Sans etc.

Those are kinds of fonts I shuffle on... They aid clarity on my device.

Option 1 - Check for Updates on your phone to see if available via OTA.

Option 2 - Use Google search to find if there's any release for your Device model in another Region, Download and ODIN!

Option 3 - Root, Flash a custom Recovery and Flash a Stock Android!

Those Nokia torch phones have no earpiece in the front like is obtainable in other phones..

It has just one speaker behind it and that speaker can't be heard from the front except you put it in loudspeaker.. So if you don't want to put the call on loudspeaker, just flip the phone to the other side and make your call!!


I used to judge the nokia torch users too from a distance until I had to use a friend's own, I then understood their plight..

If you open that phone, you'd see it doesn't have a earpiece..!



and I'm damn sure the infinix phones you're referring to all have earpieces at the top of their phones separate from the speakers at the back..

No sir, those phones actually "Don't have a dedicated earpiece" but it has an earpiece.

The one speaker in that phone serves as. The Earpiece, The Speaker and the Vibrator.

When the phone rings, there's a component that tells the speaker to "ring aloud" using the speaker function. When the call is taken, the component switches the speaker to work as a "earpiece"
and sound goes through a space to be hear on the front side (earpiece side)

You see people use the back of their phones because that component has broken/stopped! the fact is 7 of 10 people who would buy that phone would suffer the issue cause it is known with those phones.

Those phones are Nokia 105, 100 etc.

For now, I prefer UK used Phones simply because it's what I can afford for standard. And even if I get rich enough to buy Brand new phones, I wouldn't still buy ones shipped to be sold in Nigeria, instead would import brand new device.

One thing I can think of!

1. See if you can flash a Custom recovery (Philz/TWRP) via Download mode

2. If successful, boot into the recovery , connect the device to your PC then mount SD card, you should be able.to access your files on your PC.
