Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele aka Jenifa, Lands A Role In Hollywood Movie "Avengers"

No doubt, she is the woman of the moment and with her natural talent, this particular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello is going higher than any of us can imagine. She has been cast in the upcoming Marvel movie “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Avengers: Infinity War is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

It is the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.

As seen on the movies full cast list, the actress will play a member of the Black Panther’s guards, the Dora Milaje.

The Dora Milaje are superior women recruited from every tribe of the fictional Wakanda who serve as the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther. They are also an elite group of female bodyguards, and potential wives, of the King of Wakanda.

Is now a thing in Nigeria that once we are approaching a new year, Pastors and Prophets will start releasing prophetic utterances on how the year is going to be and people who may or may not die that year. We are used to that.

Though many atimes, these prophecies are merely speculations and almost always doesn't come to past. Even those that predicted president Buhari's death last year have hiding their faces in shame. Most Nigerian pastors only predict and call it prophecy.

Anyway, Activist, convener of #OurMumuDonDo and President of all frustrated Nigerians, Charly Boy has released his one prophecy on how 2018 will pan out. He shared this on his Instagram page and wrote;

My people 2018 don land. I would be a hypocrite to wish you all a happy new year but let me wish you less suffering, less stress, less frustration. What does 2018 hold for us let me consult my crystal ball ‘Intelligible noises’.

The suffering shall increase if we allow them to keep pushing our mumu button this year, APC, PDP, all shall be rejected by Nigerians wey sabi hallelujah.

I see Boko Haram laying down their arms and organising a peace concert.

I see Nigerian pastors they are planning to stop collecting tithes they are building schools for their poor congregation

I see Nigerian police stop collecting bribe and brutalising the poor, hooray to them.

Dead people will remain in the land of the dead they will no longer be made ministers.

Old people shall pass away for the young to grow.

This 2018 will be what we make of it, it we swim or sink no messiah is coming to rescue us, make we all agree say our mumu don reach final bus stop.

The Former Nigeria Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was in Abia State to witnessed the wedding ceremony of his son. The wedding between Uchechi Iweala and Chioma Achebe reportedly took place in Umuahia, Abia state.

The son of the ex minister reportedly got got married to the granddaughter of popular Nigerian novelist, poet and critic, Chinua Achebe.

Okonjo Iweala, her husband and one of her cherished ally, Dr. Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa as well as others graced the colorful occasion. The wedding was a low key wedding as reports suggests.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a Nigerian economist and its first female minister of Finance. She served two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria and was previously Managing Director of the World Bank. Her son works in Washington, DC and specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery while Chioma is also a graduate of Harvard Law and Business school and works as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BSG), Washington D.C. .

Human rights activist, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), has described January 1st new year address by President Mohammadu Buhari, as an embarrassment. In a statement yesterday in Abuja, he said the remarks were not only embarrassingly banal, uninspiring, empty, but also myopic, unrealistic and bereft of any benefit of historical dynamics.

Ozekhome pointed out that the speech was a confirmation of the fact that the President had lost touch with the people, saying:

“It is an unfortunate metaphor for one who has lost total touch with the people and their aching pulse.” “It was an honest admission of abysmal failure, total directionless and cluelessness in the current opaque governance of the country.

“It never talked about or told Nigerians what he is doing about the putrefying corruption in his government with overwhelming and incontrovertible evidence of fat untouchable cows left unprosecuted. “The President, in his speech dismissed the genuine and shrill cries of Nigerians for immediate restructuring of our fundamentally flawed federal system of government, which is actually unitary in nature and operation.

“I couldn’t believe Buhari could muster the courage to blame helpless and hapless Nigerians for being inpatient in their expectation of good governance after two years and nine months of his becoming President, with only one more year to another general elections.”

Ozekhome reminded the number one citizen and the All Progressives Congress (APC) that they voluntarily entered into a written contract with Nigerians in their manifesto of about 41 mouth-watering ‘Eldorado promises’ that completely hoodwinked Nigerians to queue behind him.

“When he was accused of not possessing school certificate or its equivalent, Nigerians fired back that it didn’t matter and that they were satisfied if all he had was a mere Agege bread or NEPA bill tag. “Such was the ululation and sheer passion that when he was pronounced winner, one Nigerian actually walked from Lagos to Abuja in solidarity, while another rode a bicycle from Kaduna to Lagos.

“Unfortunately, all the promises and hopes of a better tomorrow have since become a mirage, reminding one of Julius Caesar’s tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” “He surprisingly exonerated a colourless, rudderless and corruption-laden NNPC that is not accountable to the Nigerian people.

“PMB failed to do an honest self introspection to discover that he, as the substantive Minister of Petroleum Resources (since he could not trust any other Nigerian honest enough to head the ministry) had woefully failed Nigerians. “Nearly half of the speech was wasted on discussion of railway projects, which do not add value to immediate issues of hunger, mass unemployment and Nigerians’ desire to survive.

“The more I read the speech, the more I am convinced that Nigeria is in real trouble.”

I Have Lost All Hope In This Govt., Clueless Buhari Must Resign Immediately - Sen. Okurounmu

Senator Femi Okurounmu, has called for the immediate resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari over his incessant blunders running Nigeria as a country.

The former lawmaker made the call while speaking with Punch where he called on the President to restructure the current political system or resign without further delay. He also lambasted Mr. President for saying Nigeria’s problems are not that of structure but process.

The former lawmaker said;

“I have lost all hope in this government. The President is not only clueless but has also lost all sense of direction. He has probably lost his memory and so he is no longer competent enough to function as a President.

“My wish is that he would be courageous enough to resign and surrender the office to someone who is more capable and has all his cognitive functions intact. “For President Muhammadu Buhari saying Nigeria’s problem is not structure but process only reinforces his well established and well known position on restructuring.

“It is well known that President Muhammadu Buhari is opposed to restructuring, because it benefits the Fulani interest which he represents. “I see this statement as consistent with his view that he does not want restructuring.

“Restructuring is the only solution to the problems of this country.”

Can you imagine this men of God biko nu. Has it gotten to this? OAP Daddy Freeze who has been know for his ardent criticism of men of God in Nigeria as well as other African countries just shared an outrageous video of a crazy man who calls himself a man of God.

In the video he shared on his Instagram account, the man of God was seen delivering a woman of evil spirit and was calling God on phone to inquire from him who the woman is and how the woman should be delivered.

I asked myself, are people this gullible? Is this really for real? This kind of video and show of little common sense at the beginning of 2018? This is indeed appalling and I believe this is why Freeze created #FreeTheSheeple.
