Breaking News: UN Votes Unanimously To Rejects Trump's Decision On Recognition Of Jerusalem As Israel's Capitall

The United Nation (UN) General Assembly has decisively backed a resolution effectively calling on the US to withdraw its recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The text says that any decisions regarding the status of the city are "null and void" and must be cancelled.

According BBC News, the non-binding resolution was approved by 128 states, with 35 abstaining and nine others voting against. It came after US President Donald Trump threatened to cut financial aid to those who backed the resolution.

Before the vote, the Palestinian foreign minister urged member states to reject "blackmail and intimidation".

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meanwhile said it would reject the anticipated result "outright" and dismissed the UN as a "house of lies".

What is so contentious about Jerusalem's status?

The status of Jerusalem goes to the heart of Israel's conflict with the Palestinians. Israel occupied the east of the city in the 1967 Middle East war and regards the entire city as its indivisible capital. The text put forward by Turkey and Yemen does not mention the US, but expresses "deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem".

OAP Daddy Freeze have taken to his Instagram page again to vent his stand on the issues relating to the teachings of tithe by Nigerian pastors and tithing itself. The initiator of #TitheAgainstPoverty made no mistake in projecting his ideology.

He made this assertions while replying the statement made by former Nollywood Actor cum pastor, Zack Orji. Zack Orji earlier on stated that he pitied those who condemn tithing and pastors.

The nephew’s of former first lady, Late Stella Obasanjo, Michael Abebe had his engagement ceremony to his fiancee, Erica Cusworth, at the Harbour point, Victoria Island, Lagos yesterday, Wednesday December 20th.

Michael is the son of Dr. John Abebe, the younger brother of late Stella Obasanjo who was the wife of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo. In attendance were former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, among others.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC was used by these GTBank to harass and intimidate legitimate businessman like Innocent Chukwuma whose only sin was to ask GTBank to pay him back the excess money they deducted from his account.

Femi Fani-Kayode Reveals The Reason Why Innoson Motors Is Been Punished By EFCC

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the arrest of Innoson Nigeria Limited Chief Executive Officer, Innocent Chukwuma by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Innoson, had on Tuesday alleged that it’s CEO, was arrested by the anti-graft agency without prior invitation. But reacting in a tweet, FFK said he was not surprised by the arrest as Innocent Chukwuma, is from the wrong part of the country and he is being punished for providing employment for Nigerians.

He wrote:-

Why should anybody be surprised about the arrest of the owner of Innosson Motors? They did the same to Cletus Ibeto about a year ago. ”These people come from the “wrong” part of the country and they are providing a service and employment for Nigerians. They must be punished for it.

”I have known the MD of GTB,Segun Agbaje and his two older brothers,Femi and Jimi, for close to 40 years. I urge him not to expose himself to the shark infested waters of politics by allowing himself to be used by these barbarians to destroy Innoson. If he does he will regret it.

The Nigeria Senate has waded into the ongoing tussle between GTBank and Innoson Nigeria Limited and the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC involvement in the matter. Innoson Motors CEO was arrested yesterday in grand style by the operatives of EFCC

The senate during its seating today faulted and frowned at the EFCC for involving themselves in a matter between a bank and their customer and further stated that any injustice for one Nigeria citizen is injustice for all.

I don't think his/her writ is premature. He/She drew his/her conclusions and assertions on already decided cases.

1. Is a fact that GTBank and Innoson agreed to an audit of his account and is a fact that the auditors found out that GTB charged Innoson in the excess of N700m though the agreed it was going to pay in excess of N500m.

2. Is a fact that GTBank is supposed to payback the money with 22% interest according to the law and is also a fact that they refused and pleaded to pay with 7% interest. which Innoson refused.... Is a fact that GTBank are criminals and they know what they are doing.

3. Is a fact that both judgement in High Court Anambra State and Appeal Court Anambra Stated ordered GTBank to pay innoson his money and they refused.

4. Is also a fact that Ibadan high court and appeal court ordered GTBank to pay Innoson back his money with 22% interest and they also refused.

You tell me, why did u say is premature to draw conclusions because as far as am convened, the only thing GTBank will hope for in this case is mediations for leniency .

Just In - Rivers United Players Prostrate To Beg Gov. Nyesom Wike After Early Morning Protest

What kind of country is this? Where politicians now have too much godlike powers? No more checks and balances anymore and even though one is well within his/her rights, nothing, I repeat nothing can be done except politicians say so.

This morning, the players of Rivers United FC stormed the Rivers State Government House to press home demands for the payment of sign on fees for the 2014/15 football season. It was gathered that these monies were owed by the previous administration, before the merger, and during the days of Sharks and Dolphins FC.

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike addressed the players personally and promised to look into their demands. The players thanked the Governor and apologized for their actions this morning..
