A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Human Right Activist, Femi Falana has accused the Governor of Ekiti State and Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Ayodele Fayose of cold-blooded murder.

Falana, made thus statement while reacting to Fayose’s comment over an alleged Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seized property said to have been bought by him. He accused the governor of having a hand in the cold-blooded murder of Dr. Daramola and Tunde Omojola.

It maybe recalled that Abubakara Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation, had insinuated during a senate probe that a Lagos lawyer bought one of the properties seized from pension thieves from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Governor Fayose had latched on the claim to attack Falana, saying linking Falana to illegally-acquired properties seized by the EFCC is bad enough but the facts provided by Malami make the case against Falana even worse.

“This must be the real reason why Falana always fall head over heels in defence of the EFCC and Magu, not minding the vicious violations of the constitutionally-guaranteed rights, freedoms, and liberties of citizens,” Fayose was quoted to have said.

Fayose was also quoted to have advised the Federal Government to investigate Falana and not allow the matter be swept under the carpet over the property said to be located on Gana Street in Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital.

Falana has however denied buying any property from the EFCC.

“I stand by my earlier defence that I never bought the house from the EFCC and I challenge him (Fayose) and the Attorney General to show the evidence. I challenge the garrulous Governor of Ekiti State to prove the monstrous allegation that I bought a house from the EFCC”, Falana said.

Falana said since Mr. Ayo Fayose has not paid attention to the fact and circumstances of the case, he would advised him to study his explanation that the house in question is a subject matter of a pending suit before the Federal High Court and that the house has been forfeited to AMCON in the interim.

“The EFCC is not a party to the case. So, if Mr. Ayo Fayose wants to join the suit, he’s free, he is at liberty to approach the Federal High Court holding at Abuja to prove his allegation. But his is a case of Ajegbodo to nweni kun ’ra. (The one recklessly eating fresh yam will always want to co-opt others into the deal.) .

“As of today, he has already forfeited six houses to the government of Nigeria. So, if he is sure that that this is proceeds of crime, he should apply to have it forfeited. He should contact the Attorney General, Mr. Malami, to apply to have the house forfeited, if they are sure that the house is proceeds of crime”, he added.

Don Jazzy Fires His Bodyguard Caught On Camera Threatening To Beat Up A Lady - Video

Marvin Record Label Boss, Don Jazzy has taken a drastic and decisive action of over one of his bodyguard who threatened to beat up a lady and was caught on camera doing so. This is for people to understand were the Don stands on women mistreatment in Nigeria.

The video emerged yesterday, showing a macho man, shouting down at a woman in an eatery in Lagos and was shared online and within minutes, it went viral. In the video, the man Identified as Chidi was seen threatening the woman, “I will just kill you”, “Ashewo”..

It was later gathered that Chidi is Don Jazzy’s Bodyguard, and Don Jazzy just relieved him of his job. In a chat with LIB, Chidi said he regrets his actions and that it was the woman calling him a thief that got him angry to speak to her in such manner..

‘I entered the eatery and parked my car. I ensured that I wasn’t blocking anyone before I went in to place my order. While I was waiting to be attended to, the lady walked in, tapped me on my back and in a loud voice, asked me to go outside to repark my car.

She said why would I park my car like a thief. Her indirectly calling me a thief got me angry and that was why I spoke to her in that maner and called her unprintable names. I never meant the threat of beating her. My mother raised me well never to beat a woman. When I was leaving the eatery, I was sad over the incident’.

Chidi says if given the opportunity, he would apologise to the woman. -

OAP Freeze Slams Adeboye Again For Claiming He Collects Offering To Free People From Poverty

The tide has shifted from tithe to offering. The self-acclaimed leader of the ‘Freethesheeple’, Daddy Freeze, has just slammed Pastor Enoch Adeboye for false preaching.

In his latest assault on the man of God, he called out pastor Adeboye as being responsible for the false preaching that plunged us (Nigerians) into poverty.

Thursday evening, he shared a video of one of Pastor Adeboye’s sermon where he said, ‘the only reason we take offering at all is because, that’s the only way to get you out of poverty’.

Freeze describes it as falshood saying, ‘this is the kind of false preaching that probably plunged us into poverty in the first place!’.

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode have reacted to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar's decamp from APC and joining PDP.

This is not coming as a surprise though because political analyst and journalist has already predicted this move for a very long time. He made his return to PDP official in a statement sent to media.

#AnambraVotes: PDP Chieftain Raises Alarm, INEC’s Amina Zakari Lodging In Tony Nwoye’s Hotel

The frontline aspirant into the office of National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Mohammed Kabir Usman has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of conniving with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rig the forth-coming gubernatorial elections in Anambra State.

Speaking earlier today on Africa Independent Television (AIT) breakfast political show Kakaaki, Barr. Kabir Usman who observed that there may be no elections in Anambra State since Nigerians have no confidence in the integrity of the forthcoming governorship polls, accused top officials of INEC, notably Amina Zakari, a national commissioner, of working closely with the APC to ensure that a predetermined outcome is achieved.

According to Barr. Kabir Usman;

“as at now, Amina Zakari is in the same hotel with the APC candidate hence we have no faith in the outcome of that elections. “Strong controversies have always trailed any election conducted by Amina Zakari and in a decent society, no umpire in an election should reside in the same location with a frontline candidate who has an interest in the election.

Not only is Amina Zakari in the same hotel which serves as a make-shift secretariat of the APC in Anambra State, the hotel is owned by Tony Nwoye who is also contesting the elections and lives in the same hotel”, he said.

Barr. Kabir Usman who was the Zonal Legal Adviser of the PDP (North Central) for eight years also stressed that governors of the APC have contributed N100 million each towards ensuring that the Anambra election is manipulated.

Suffice to say, I don't think any Nigerian or Anambarians are expecting a free and fair election and as Nigerians, we don't think that way anymore and I believe whoever does, is just living in fools paradise.

Yea yea I know, I know, I know, I too thought he was going to travel abroad. I no know say na Kano State wey dey for here. This photos of a grandma fortifying her grandson as he embarks on a long trip from Rivers State to Kano as gone viral online.

A Facebook user identified as Kue Barinor Paul, has taken to the social networking platform to share some pictures showing the moment his grand mother was praying for him before he embarked on a trip to Kano state.

In the photos which emerged online and is going viral on social media, the young man was seen being laid hands on and his head washed. The young man who said his grandma wants him to go to Kano and return with a title, and to achieve great things, shared the pictures on Facebook and wrote;

Man Arrested At British Embassy, Lagos For Try To Secure Visa With Fake Documents, Charged To Court

Is no more business as usual in British or American Embassy across Nigeria because now, one can be prosecuted for trying to use a fake documents for traveling.

Its no news that Nigerians has been traveling abroad with fake and forged documents for years, especially bank statements. But this days, you can be sent to jail for attempting to do that. So guys, you have to sit up.

According to reports, One Adekola Tunde has been arraigned by the EFCC before Justice M.A. Dauda of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on a five-count charge bordering on forgery and use of fraudulent documents.

The offence is contrary to Section 363 (1) and (2) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The suspect was arrested following a complaint received by the Commission from the British High Commission, Lagos. The 28-year suspect, who hails from Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, allegedly submitted a forged Certificate of Incorporation from the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, to the British High Commission in order to secure a visa to the United Kingdom.

One of the counts reads:

“That you, Adekola Rahman Tunde, on or about 4th day of November, 2016 in Lagos within the Lagos Judicial Division knowingly forged the official stamp of Ghana Immigration Service, which you embossed on your Nigerian International passport number AO6565165 and purported the said stamp to have been embossed on the Nigerian international passport number AO6565165 by the Ghana Immigration Service.”

Another count reads:

“That you, Adekola Rahman Tunde, on or about 16th day of March, 2016 in Lagos within the Lagos Judicial Division knowingly forged the Corporate Affairs Commission Certificate of Registration of Business name-Lastborn Computer Ventures and purported same to have been issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.”

The suspect pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him. In view of his plea, the prosecution counsel, Murtala Saiu, asked for a trial date and prayed the court to remand the suspect in prison custody.

Counsel to the suspect, however, urged the court to grant his client bail. After listening to both counsel, Justice Said remanded the suspect in the EFCC custody and adjourned to November 29, 2017 for hearing of bail application.
