I am that person that uploaded my degree cert instead of waec cert, as I didn’t realize on time that my CAS stated waec not degree certificate.
Despite this, God still showed up for me and my family.

Submitted VAF for me and my family on 4/11/21 (priority visa)
Did biometrics on 5/11/21
Got non straight forward mail for my dependents (husband and 2kids) on 9/11/21
Didn’t get any for myself
Got collection mail for all of us on 12/11/21
Visa granted
It can only be God

I and my husband did the application ourselves. We also opted for self upload. All the information we got was from this platform. Basically your telex, POF and any other offer condition is what’s needed for CAS.

Did a long ass call with some friends there and i would advise that people paid at least 70 - 80% of their fees. They said it's not all green there. If you can delay gratification and do well, you'll thank God you made the move. Leaving sums like 8k, 9k etc unpaid is risky. Leave sums that you can gather from family or yourself as unpaid at best. So you can pay easily if push comes to shove. I wish everyone well. God bless.

On issue 3. It is better u pay with your own account or confirm from your school that u are allowed to pay through a proxy(your brother).
Many schools are strict on this and will never record a payment for you if it was made through someone else. Goodluck.

This is false. Provided your student ID and full name are stated as the payment ref, I don’t see how there’d be a problem.

Get a sworn affidavit in addition with the international passport...that will be fine for the removal of the middle name on BVN. For the account name, it depends on the Bank...some banks will request that you provide a Newspaper Publication with an affidavit to remove the middle name on account. Just visit the bank. Correction on both BVN and account should not take more than 5 working days if you are ready to provide the requirements.

650 is good, don’t stress yourself unnecessarily.

Soooo simple, just go to the bank and fill a form to update his mandate using that same passport as the valid ID. that means he is going to forfeit the middle name. the correction shall be effected in 24 hours.

How about BVN? Would one need to remove their middle name as well, and would the international passport alone suffice for this?

I've been a silent follower of the thread for a while and I can say it's been a wonderful community of wonderful men and woman.
There have been many talking points on this thread that have been of immense help to many people but there's a particular one that doesn't seems to have much emphasis and it's one of the major criteria for school selection for many.
I think there's need for our people in various schools whether those presently studying or those that just got offer of admission(if their payment plans is confirmed) to state it out just like they give visa alert the school payment plans. what they are required to pay as deposit and number of instalments available in their school as this will go a long way in helping many people in their choice of school.

I see your point but this would only make the thread too hard to read and unnecessarily long.
No matter how much people state their payment plans, people would still ask. Very counterproductive.

It's quite simple. Just go to the bank with an affidavit stating the name on your passport as the official. They will change the name on your account and bvn to the one on your passport. Take the affidavit and passport with you to the bank. That's how i did mine. It was effective thesame day, before i left bank sef. All it cost me was 1k for affidavit.

If you are yet to submit your application...why not use the same affidavit to add to your bank name?

Don't risk it. Let your bank/BVN name be the exact match with your passport name. It's safer.UK don't joke with financial evidence

They don't stick to appointment time, anytime you go, you'll be attended to, as long as you've got appointment for that day.


So go very early, be there like 7am, stand in front, so you can be among first set when they open gate, so you can get your result same day.
