Is everybody came out from political family?, a responsible family shouldn't spend that amount on food daily. The country hard accepted, but 9ja hasn't bad reach that level.
Mr man talk for yourself. he did not say food alone. That 100k is nothing when you hold it. Many families spend more than that everyday. Don't say it is irresponsible.

Pls, what is the name of the site?

How can i migrate to paid platform?

How can i start to monetize and promote?
For me, the model I operate for now is that I packaged some of writing into short ebooks. put them on Gumroad.com and others. Then I post free articles on Medium.com and others everyday to promote them. I have a book on Penis size , how to woo a woman, how to woo a man and many others in relationship side.
I also have a list of 100 sites that accept articles. If it meets their standards they will publish it and pay you. Your own is to write as many articles as you can in a day or week.
You can also setup up a blog, post your articles and use ad to monetize if you're getting reasonable traffic.
You should also know how to use Grammarly, Chatgpt and other tools to help you.
So everything depends on the model you want to operate.
I can send you the list if want. Also you should know that they are not get rich quick.

[quote author=Love800 post=131384165]Hi.
Pls, how do i start a blog?
I can write good sport(football and boxing) articles.[/quote

Starting a blog is very easy. Go to .com and create your blog immediately. it is free. The popular Linda Ikeji that is making millions is on this free site. You can migrate to paid platform when you stabilize.
But the real issue is not about creating the blog. You need to know the people you are creating it for. know how to promote and monetize it to get value for your time and effort.

Hello.
Pls help me with ideas on how i can get a writing job. Am good at writing sports aticles(football and boxing).
You don't write for writing seck. You research to know what people like, what will solve their problems and write about it.
I write about relationships. I also write on educational subjects and sell on many platforms.
I know many sites you can write for, you don't need to limit yourself to sports rather look for what people are looking for and what will solve a problem or entertain people.

PoliticsRe: FG To Support Youth-based Businesses With N110 Billion - Minister by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 9:44am On Aug 07, 2024
Nbote:
See in as much as these handouts are impressive looking, all most entrepreneurs need is a stable and friendly economic environment. Stable market prices, manageable road infrastructure and transportation and logistics costs. That's all. I deal and distribute baking margarine/butter. The last buckets (10kg) I supplied to a bakery went for 26,000. I tried restocking this week and that same bucket goes for 29,500 not including cost of logistics. I tried sourcing from Lagos and was quoted prices ranging from 33,000 to 40,000 for other brands. This same butter as at March went for 16,000. So abeg tell me how exactly does one keep up with these mad price hikes. Customs are busy ripping off importers in the name duties and clearance costs. Businesses are shrinking becos you cannot afford to keep up with the quantity you used to stock up on
That's it. They refused to face reality.
Always chasing the rat when the house is on fire.
With the existing fuel price and exchange rate, existing business are folding up. They are not finding it easy, Yet the government is talking of empowering youths, importing food, giving loans and grants.
If one gets the loan what do you do with it? Is it not in this environment that businesses are folding up that you will operate and repay your loans.
The government is either disconnected from realities on ground or deceiving people with their usual propaganda.
PoliticsRe: FG Unveils Comprehensive Strategy For Economic Growth, Citizens’ Welfare by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 8:57am On Aug 07, 2024
Ernchibyke:
So long as corruption and looting is still the talk of the day, all this strategic approach will always be a sham.
He built Lagos, but in Lagos he was the sole looters, nationally now there's region by region looting, state by state, then personalized/individualized looting.

Tinubu can't change course for better. He doesn't know how and what to do.
The hope available now is soonest this hunger and hardship will be the new normal, people will get use to it and move on with life.
You've said it as it is. Nothing will change.
People will only get use to it and move on with their life.
This is the whole truth and very unfortunate.
You did something and the economy turned upside down. You need to undo your actions to put the economy in order.
Instead of this, you are running from pillar to post, making empty promises, sharing audio palliatives, giving Governors and whoever cares more money and expecting things to change.
PoliticsRe: Why Tinubu Should Just Resign!! by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 11:27pm On Aug 06, 2024
Tinubu has destroyed the economy beyond repair. He should not resign. He must finish the work he started so that the brains of those that survived will reset.
Dollar is hitting N2000 before December. The Igbos are not going into any food import even at zero duty. Let his supporters do the importation to feed the country.
He must finish what he started.

Elect a young man, nothing will change. Sports is by its nature as good as the number of people participating in it, which is why China and India, despite having large ppoulaitons, are nowhere in football

That is not the job of the ministry of sports...that is the job of private individuals

If the sports ministry did as you say, they would run out of money before they found 100 clubs.

When even state government cannot fund clubs adequately, na ministry of sport...wey dey oversee over 80 sporting federations, go fund am?

.

Except that most of the clubs are founded and funded by private individuals or groups of individuals. The state helps to organise the game...as is done in every country...including Nigeria.

Can't disagree here. You right.

Yes, because to establish enough athlets to represent nigeria in many sports

1. You need a critical mass of people playing the sport. THAT TAKES TIME. There is a reason why USA is dull in rugby, and Holland cannot do well at cricket.and China messes up at football.....it is because they don't have a large number of people playing either sport.

2.You need funding...and the kind of funding needed is far more than any Nigerian government can give. That is where sponsors, and people paying more in entrance fees, and people paying more in school fees comes in.

All them foreign based...they pay a lot to get better at sports. Notthing like government sponsorship.

We had a young GEJ In charge. London 2012..we won zero medals. We even did not qualify for the men football...after our 2008 silver.
Mr man, I don't know why you people like to defend nonsense. When you see ideas that are sound, you accept it rather than trying hard to show your own deficiency.
China and India may not be good in football, but they they have comparative advantage in other sports. China is always 1st or 2nd in that Olympic medal table and India is also there. So it must not be football.
You are here defending the Sports ministry as if you are the minister. If you see how funds are frittered in these ministries, you will cry. Besides the ministry does not need to fund the clubs 100%, they only need to motivate the actions and the environment.
You see somethings that are working perfectly well in other countries, and you will now sit down and write a book on why it will not work in Nigeria. That is negative thinking.
What stops you from studying how those countries did it.
We truly have a long way to go in this country with this mentality of defending nonsense.
Keep on electing old men and expecting to be like Dubai or Singapore.

cathodekazim:
It's disheartening to see Nigeria's poor performance at the current Olympics. This outcome is a reflection of perennial administrative issues that have plagued our sports sector for years. The mismanagement and lack of proper funding have severely affected the development of our athletes.

In the past, youth sports games and interhouse competitions were the bedrock of our sports development, nurturing talents from a young age. These events were pivotal in identifying and grooming future champions. Unfortunately, they have become almost nonexistent. The passion and enthusiasm that once drove these competitions have dwindled, leaving our young athletes without the necessary platforms to hone their skills.

If we are to see any improvement in future Olympics, we must address these administrative inefficiencies, reinstate and properly fund youth sports programs, and revive interhouse sports competitions. Only then can we hope to regain our former glory on the international stage.
Of course the old men we keep electing as presidents cannot do that.
What stopped the ministry of youth and sports to float a football club for the youths in all the Local government areas. Do you know the impact this will have on the economy as a whole.
Countries like Argentina and Brazil with large population like Nigeria have thousands of football clubs at every level. And everyone can see how their citizens are dominating in all the football leagues around the world raking in hard currencies in billions.
Every government in Nigeria depends on oil forgetting that human Capital yield more than oil in other countries.
All these ones representing Nigeria at the Olympics are all foreign based.
Is it Buhari or Tinubu both frail old men that will work or new ideas to push the country forward when they are battling old age health challenges.
The situation is very pathetic and hopeless.

If Nigerias own is not speedily and adequately handled don't be surprised if this happens in Nigeria but I hope it doesn't because I still believe that the best of civilian rule is still better than the best of military rule
That's what you were told. But you forget to notice that, all the States, Local governments, institutions, major infrastructures and everything good in Nigeria were created by the military.
Your best civilian government cannot create a Local government or move the country forward because of tribalism, religious bigotry and nepotism. They told you is the best and you believe without asking questions.

So government should land PMS at N1,300 and sell to you at N350, right? Why do you think they will get the money to sustain a subsidy of N950 per liter? And then still build road, subsidize education, subsidize electricity, pay FG workers monthly, build bridges and railways, defend the Naira, give free CNG Buses, fund social investment programs etc?

Like, do you guys even have any understanding of how to run government at all?
Still defending nonsense. Is this the first time we are having a government. Is Tinubu the first person to rule Nigeria. How does others even the military were able to rule without this level of hardship? You that knows how government operates?
Where do they get the money for Jets, yatchs, renovations, padded budgets and all other frivolous items.

PoliticsRe: 10 Things Tinubu Said In Public Broadcast by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 12:30pm On Aug 04, 2024
Mace0lane:
Can you list where the corruption is in this government ?
It is everywhere except you are not in Nigeria.
Budget was padded with over 3 billion projects without any address and location.
VP house was renovated with 20 billion, what does it cost to build new one.
Presidency buying tyres for 3 billions, number of tyres not stated.
All palliatives is about the contract. How many people benefits from them except the people that approve the contract. This is why they keep bringing out one palliatives after the other.
But the real truth is that in government, you only need a good heading to spend on. It doesn't matter whether it is beneficial to anybody or not. They don't award contract without collecting a good percentage of the amount involved.
If a DG of a ministry wants to travel from Abuja to Lagos, about 500 million Naira would be spent in preparation for the journey alone. This is how government works across board. So 80% of the fund are frittered away. This is what we are talking about.

I will appreciate if the president should talk to the nation.
I hate all those written speeches. Let him talk without reading from anywhere. He can make a list of the points he wants to cover and talk on them without reading useless speeches which when you check now will be AI generated.
When you talk, you say what you know and believe rather reading a speech written elsewhere to fulfill all righteousness. He may not even know what he is reading talk less of implementing it.

Yeah, you're right. Communicating is different from writing or speaking grammar. Wole Soyinka and many other journalist are guilty of this as well.

The ones that increase fuel price called it phase -removal of subsidy.
