lol. I'm sick and tired of the whining/victim-complex from Igbos as well.
it's plain and simple. LEAVE THE NORTH.

if Nigeria divides into three tomorrow, we will still have the same problem because the igbos will refuse to leave hausaland or yorubaland. in fact, they will start claiming that they own Lagos or Abuja or Kano or that they have the right to be there. yes you can stay there but don't complain when you get killed.

they are even lucky that yorubas are not hostile toward them. because there are a ton of igbos in lagos as well.
I'm sure hausas have a reason for their hostility (not saying that it's excusable). we just aren't completely sure of it.

if you hate hausas and want a Biafra: start by leaving hausaland and relocating to Biafra. it's very simple
I know, haha, whiny Igbo, you butcher a couple of their teenagers (including Yoruba), and its like its Israel vs. Palestine again. Like, OMG, get over it. LOL!

Besides the religious tensions in the north I dare say the north is a safer region to reside than the east.
Yeah, like besides World War II and all the Jewish extermination, I dare say Germany in the 1940's was a safer region to reside than Mongolia.

Cleaning up the cities is one of the major issues, as well as the rural, but the rural only need basic infrastructure, not housing and neighbourhood planning like cities. As you said, the cities also need to be planned and they need to be planned with a city boundary. If we're thinking long term, we may need to think of urbanising some sleepy/rural towns and attaching them to the metropolis of nearby larger cities, this has happened in places like Onicha, but it needs to be done a planned way because we all know how Igbo people are with land.

Ebonyi agriculture definitely needs to be upgraded, and let's not forget a second Niger bridge.

so far all is goin well and the buisness is good for majority of the people in it ,nobody is complaining yet abi no b igbo people we be again.

also independence layout phase two is fast developing and private industries are springing up, most of them are small but am proud of the efforts and energy of the youth here
I trust.

bashr4:
it shows all we need is just basic infrastructures and we will take care of the rest.
You've said it the best.
PoliticsRe: Moving The SE/SS(Igbo Communities) Forward by ezeagu(m): 3:23am On Apr 28, 2011
I feel like everything has already been planned, it's just putting it into place. Like the important people know what has to be done in places like Aba, Abakaleke, Onicha (on-going) and other places. Maybe the planning is just how to get people to start doing them and doing them the right way.

I even forgot about the Enugu International Airport, wow, a lot of things are happening, really fast! But it would be more exciting if this development was spreading to Ebonyi and Abia as well, especially because of Aba.

The ideal would have been Onicha Port, Plus the airports, plus Aba renovation. Then Ebonyi should develop agriculture, things are getting unstable in other parts of Africa and it's no longer safe to rely on others for food, it has never been safe.

Hey, the renovation of the port was apparently sponsored by FirstBank. Hey, FirstBank you tried oh!

(Ezeuche, you were right, that other picture seems to be real, the River Niger Bridge can be seen in the background of this one)
