bittyend: A very big thank you to all the ndi-yorubas on this thread for providing the much needed trolling to my insecure ndi-ibo or ndi-ebo clowns. Now that eze wuru wuru has finally been buried - we shall wait patiently for the new ndi-ibo wuru wuru ala nwazurike to declare BIAFRA - in our erosion and landlocked bia-fail land. Please, tell me the connection between what you just wrote got with Mallam Junaid Mohammed and his northerns peeps taking Ilorin and offa with them? |
Epalos: No land is going to be taken with you to iboland, so you have not bought any inheritance, when the time comes the most you would get is compensation, we are talking about penny on a dollar. If I were you I will rather read than comment, because you don't seem to know much about political issues. You called some one a starved and turn around and sell him your inheritance, what do you call that? This question is actually not for you as I know that you got no clue. |
Billyonaire: Dont be sentimental. The facts are there. His job is advisory. No its not, just because he is addressed as an adviser. Hillary Clinton is U.S secretary of state, do you think her job is secretarial to the Obama govt? |
onatisi: thank God some sensible people realise that gej is not the minister of sport and now they are bringing out suggestions on how to bring a positive change into the system to arrest decline in our sporting fortunesI thought the minister of sport was an appointment of Jonathan and represents Jonathan? If the Nigerian team had won 20 gold medals, I am sure you will be the first to give the glory to Jonathan or even some will say that it was his good luck that shined upon the team. Nigerian woeful performance is an indicator of the state of that nation, when Mongolia etc with a population of some local councils in Nigeria are winning medals but a nation of close to 200 million people cannot. The money Jonathan will be paying Okupe just to be lying to the public will train a boxer towards gold in Rio next four years. And you are busy thanking some unknown god. Let see if he will sack the minister of sports. |
The people I pity most in the event of a disintegration are igbos living outside igboland. Can't wait to have a reason to kick their butts outta my land, lol.
The same way United Kingdom will kick you out of slums of Peckham and Thamesmead and Togo will send back Emmanuel Adebayor and his family back you. Grow up! The world is now a global village, even the most richest Russians now live and work in the U.K and so does citizen of other nations. |
dayokanu: I am in America because America is better in terms of opportunities and infrastructures compared to Ogbomosho. So why are the Indians, Americans, British, Chinese, Japanese, Germans, French etc in Nigeria? Is it because there are no opportunities in their country? How can a man be a leech inside his own country?, how foolish can some of you get. People like footballer Emmanuel Adebayor are originally from your land, go and ask them why they chose Togo over your land of paradise, if we are going by your theory? |
dayokanu: ^^ How come Igbos dont use these business sense and skill to develop their cursed and eroded landsWhat is your definition of development? How many Igbo towns have you visited? Ninety nine percent of all level of schools built in Igboland was built through community effort without a single help from govt- fact There is no single kindred in Igboland today without electricity through community effort only-fact Ndigbo was the first and only people to build an aiport (Owerri airport) through community effort alone-fact Every single non federal road in Igboland was created by communities and handed over to the state/local govt to maintain-fact Travel to Igboland and see the kind of houses people live, including not so rich people and then you will shut up. |
topeayo: A race that runs from north to south trying to move to west is talking seccesion?Laffs, they some don't even know the road to his village from Lagos again.AlarinkaBoth your north and west are all part of Nigeria you forced them to belong with a brutal war, its their country and they have right to live even in the most uninhabited part of Nigeria , whether you like it or not. You don't measure the comfort of a people based only that they will only sit at home just like you. Part of history of all great nations and people is their ability to travel far and wide in the process of trading/commerce. From the time of ancient Romans, Greek to the British empire, they all have a home but that is never enough. That is why America will go to the remotest part of the earth to sell you their coca cola. You now have China towns in your villages and that is no problem for you and the Chinese. Ndigbo will never go home and sit like you to make you happy, as that is not part of human progressive civilisation. It funny every year both your federal/state govts, spent billions travelling the world for foreign investors, but you wanted the easy/free local one to go back to his village? Just to satisfy your tribal bigotry urge. Get over it. |
geeez: Should Nigeria divide, and I hope not, I believe the South West will be the most stable and prosperous followed by the South South. Ibo people are mostly traders while Yoruba people have the skills. For instance, ibo people sell spare parts while the Yorubas have the mechanics, Ibos sell building materials while the Yorubas have the bricklayers. There are so may instances like that. The question now is, what is the entry barrier for trading in these days of seamless international trade. For me it is next to nothing. If all the ibo traders moved, they will create a new market for other tribes willing to take advantage of the market demands. The Yorubas are also very politically sophisticated and have the capacity to attract foreign investment based on the structures and systems they've been able to build over time. This is why I love Nigerians. Your theory is typical of those that will never leave their village and go out and actually see the country they call Nigeria. So their idea of Nigeria is based on what their never travelled village teacher told them. They thought everybody lives like them. I bet you never cross River Niger in your life. So in your opinion, there are not bricklayers and mechanics in Igboland? ![]() And you have no idea why local products in Nigeria are termed Igbo-made? The same people without skill? Ask yourself, where the major bleaching creams like IKB, Tura Cream, you seems to love so much comes from? |
gst101: igbos smart my foot! People who cannot feed their population are the ones you call smart. The reason you people are still living and havent starved to death is becos you are part of nigeria with the north producing food 60 percent of food consumed in nigeria. Becos you by and sell, you call yourselves industrious.what about those who produce food, what do you call them? Who is industrious, the one who produces or the one who just buys and sells. If they can't feed their people, how come you kept selling the same starving people your inheritance? What do you call a man that sells his inheritance? Does the name Esau comes to mind? |
bcus my wife to be na ibo if them go now na visa i will have to use go marry
If the above is your problem, maybe you don't have one. You should ask those that married to Germans, Americans, British etc, as to how they had been managing with their visa or closer to home, ask Cameroonians married to Nigerians. This is the most lame excuse so far. |
Dis Guy: This is the bit i dont get o, with all these intellects why do Igbos need help to be pushed out? i hear the "they wont let us go"Maybe you just came down from planet Jupiter, if not, Igbos along with Annang, Ibibio, Efik and some Ijaw people sacrificed millions of their own lives between 1967-70 pushing themselves as hard as they could but your papas said no and even manage to unite the bitter enemies in Britain and the Soviet Union just to achieve that, with the likes Egypt for support. So Its not for want of trying, buddy. |
Billyonaire: I give it to the Ibos, although I have lost several millions to dealing with them in business, You cant but love them, they are the most comfortable tribe in Nigeria. But, I have only 1 Ibo friend I trust in business with my money, the rest are all criminals. I am sorry its the hard truth, lost so much to Ibos, they got no conscience, but I only deal with them to expand my business acumen.Maybe you should try teaching as an alternative profession and wait for your monthly wages if you kept losing money in business to Ndigbo. Your claimed constant loses means that you are not cut out to call yourself a businessman, because the first unwritten law of business is to know the different between a good deal/a bad deal. Or maybe your money left you through very channel or means it came to you in the first place. |
dayokanu: I laff in GurumaharajiIt funny that you never bothered to ask the Chinese or the Lebanese to go back to their villages and they are foreigners? But you are asking a person RESIDING inside his own supposed country. Americans, British Germans, Japanese don't stop in their country in their quest, its no difference to Ndigbo, even in their own country. If you don't like it, stop screaming treason, every time you hear about MASSOB. How many Nigerians including Yorubas live in Peckham/Thamesmead in England, how many time does the English ask you to go back to your villages? Mind you, some part of what you called Port Harcourt is Alaigbo. |
Trembling ...buhahahahahaah. delusion grandeur at its peak, lol. ehm...bros, when is Ebonyi gonna be economically viable? Abi no be Igbos dey there?
Apart from hearing the name on NTA news, sure the name Ebonyi is real place to you. Great percentage of local rice, yam and salt consumed in Nigeria is from Ebonyi. UNN is situated in Ebonyi. |
dayokanu: You should ask your Ibo soldiers what they were looking for in Ore and the midwest if their intention was to secedeA what were your soldiers looking for after recovering Ore and midwest if their intention is not to stop them seceding? |
Ozonna: Guys abeg let's not blame Pres GEJ for our olympic flop. Its not his fault that we started preparing for olympics few weeks to the tournament. We should blame the elected officials of National olympic commitee and different sports federations who where elected and not appointed by GEJ.And if they win, who do you think will take all the credit, with someone you even calling it goodluck's olympic? |
lanetrips: I think d islamic sect has killed more xtians dan moslems.d fact dat they av killed many ppl in yobe gombe and maiduguri doesn't make d dead moslems. Dia r se many xtians of gombe. Yobe and bornu origin.for dem to tell d president to convert to islam simply shows dat its a religious warSo you seem knew more than a Bishop based in the north about the head count of victims? Sometimes its better just to listen only. Conspiracy theory doesn't solve anything. |
Rossikk: Working in what sense?? I went to work today, had a productive day, and got back home safely, had a nice meal, and played with my kids. Even had time for a beer and some pepper soup courtesy of wifey. Same as millions of Nigerians. That's a lot of facets working right there. I've no idea what you're on about. So you measure the workings of Nigerian now based on your stomach and nice meals that goes into it? Maybe you should look over your prison like wall and check how productive your neighbours are or even the skeleton looking guy that open your gate the last time he had your assumed regular beer consumption. countries of few thousands of people and insignificant are winning gold left and right, while your self assumed giant of Africa had more delegate to Earth summit in Brasil than the Olympic in London and you don't think that is a reflection of the current state of Nigeria just because you think are doing okay with pepper soup and you have no idea what others are one about as long as you stomach is stuffed up. The same mindset of your wicked rulers. |
cap28: It would be interesting to know the racial identity of the person who wrote that article castigating GEJ.Don't export your sectional division to the caribbean, if the Indian are in minority and one of them was elected a leader the majority without stuffing the ballot boxes in the process, they don't need lectures from divisive Nigerians. |
shymmex: ^^^^How's that a 'racist' comment?Trinidad is a multi racial nation and no one told GEJ himself that his host is an Indian. ![]() |
antitpiah: 'Gentlemen don't tell. Next. |
pcnwamadi: And u tink ur using ur dumb brains by typing recklessly? Too bad..You would be lucky, if you have half of my dumb brain. Trust me. You were the person asking me the last time I went to an orphanage and I told you but no further response from you regarding the answer to your grave questioning. |
Beaf: God bless you for that.In the eyes of Nigerian way of life I may be reckless but in a sane progressive nations, my way is normal and common. Before God and man, I may have GEJ real interest at heart more than you by a mile. Kissing the backside of a ruler thinking you are doing the right thing either because he is from your tribe, region or you are directly benefitting from his misrule is not only suicidal but a grave mistake. Maybe because I am used to good and accountable governance where people questions those they elected to pilot their affairs and not to look at them as special people. They are viewed as servants and the day the servant starts thinking big of himself as messiah, he/she is thrown out. I had said it times without number that I will be the first to say it if Jonathan does well, but in honesty and based on experience, GEJ is the worst Nigeria leader I had known till date, but it doesn't mean that he cannot change if he wants to. But it seems that every of his actions and utterance is programmed towards failure. And I can't explain it!! You may not like it but the fact is their for everyone to see. But people like you had been blinded by tribal loyalty/sentiment, which has always been Nigeria achilles heel. And you are not alone, many of my Igbo brothers had been drawn into it and its such a tragedy witnessing it. But they will soon realised their folly and I am sorry if I refuse to join your tribal crusade, just for the sake of it. I WANT GEJ TO SUCCEED AND AT THE SAME TIME i OWE HIM NO BLIND LOYALTY. |
Lordave: So north has leaders? What are those leaders leading, boko haram? I'm sure those northern fools are out of their sensesWhen people are tribal minded, it seems to screw up their reasoning. You guys make it sound that Boko Haram is the only problem ever visited Nigeria. When did Nigeria starts sectionalising crime? In the 80s when Monday Osunbor, Iyamu, Lawrence Anini and their gang were terrorising Easterners going home and making the Old Bendel state a no go area, So Babangida, then as the leader should have been using proxy northern leaders to call on Oba of Benin and others from that area to sort it out because they are making governance difficult for Babangida? Jonathan is number one opposer of regional or state police force, and since he kept asking northerners to do his own job using proxy, why can't he do all he could to push for regional police and then I will support him whenever he call on them to deal with Boko Haram. How many times has he called Igbo leaders to sort out kidnapping his Ijaw people imported into Nigeria lifestyle and exported to Igboland? Never! And you lot will be the first to shout for the continued existence of this shambolic union called Nigeria, if you hate this northerners that much. I have little time for hypocrites. Those that focus on the leaf on someone else eyes but chooses to ignore the rafters on their own. It was the Ijaws of Clark and GEJ that introduced kidnapping for ransom, terrorist bombing, cultic attack into Nigeria and now they have the temerity of pointing finger? |
pcnwamadi: My frnd u must be rily frustrated.. Wen was d last time u went to orphanage home( dat is if u ve ever gone in ur life)? Bunch of shit who haven't done anytin good to humanity callin d leaders names..The last time I went to an orphanage home, I adopted a six months old baby girl. She is my only daughter. The only sister to my one and only biological son. She is now an adult with three grandchildren for me and professionally, she is a former BBC/CNN news producer and now news/current affairs producers with the Al Jazeera network in Doha. You see, I am not as frustrated as you think, just that some of you don't know your adam from you eve and never use the brain bestowed on you before typing. |
Sorry I don't do words but statement: Here we go! Next time don't vote PDP but vote for Jonathan, they are not the same. |
ABAKA72: My brother don't waste your time on a problem that have a simple solution, let IBB and Buhari condemn BH and this issue of suspision will go away. Then you should have made both men president instead having the one waiting for their magic word to come to rescue. If a simple word from IBB/Buhari will make Boko Haram go away according to you, why on earth are you paying Jonathan every single month for with everything, security wise at his disposal? Then can you imagine how wonderful it would be then if both men are in the same position as GEJ based on your own logic? You guys really cracks me up!!! |
Beaf: Can you point out any post where anyone claimed Northerners are evil? Dude, I keep telling you that grey hair is sacred. You are too old for this. Some of you are not even helping Jonathan with things you guys say all the time without thinking first. A chief security officer called the president asking two old men in retirement to make move to stop a plague in his kingdom is not only misdirection of duty but a waving of sorry I can't do it flag, help me please. Your above bolded statement is serious insult on Jonathan but you think you are defending or helping him. |
kingoflag: The President and Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces!!!!Thank you my friend, I could not have put it better. |
So the keyword is fear. If i ask you, btw Buhari, IBB and GEJ, who should understand this sect better. What will be your response?
My response would be that your question shows how little some of you understands what they are making comments about. How can you even ask such a question to start off with if you really understood the issue we are discussing? The answer of course will be that the president who receives on a daily basis the security report from all security outfit of the country should know far more than any other person especially civilians like Buhari/IBB. Irrespective of what they are in the past, in reality, that about it. Jonathan should knew whats going on now more than them and if he doesn't, then nothing remains to be said. You don't expect Bill Clinton or the Bushes to know more about American's national security than President Obama. Do you? Especially in Nigeria, once you are out of power, depending on how much you stole to still attract hungry sycophants, everybody deserts you |
Beaf: Can you point out any post where anyone claimed Northerners are evil? Dude, I keep telling you that grey hair is sacred. You are too old for this.Below is the answer to you question, which shows that you don't actually read a thread before replying as your job is just straight forward attack. Can you say now that you are wrong? ifihearam: Elder Clark thank you I have said this time without number that buhari is a bastard and the prelate of boko haram even a dunce like lacasa knows. Dnt mind these hausa people ooo, they are all evil. God punish buhari. Clark and God has vindicated me . |
