Sincere 9gerian: So you think the activities of MEND was comparable to Boko haram? How callous? Anyway, eventually, it was the Niger Delta leaders that brought out the militant leaders to accept the Yar Adua amnesty offer. The northern leaders, including Buhari, should also lead the way and persuade Boko haram to embrace peace and if offered by the govt, amnestyWhat the difference? MEND bombs and guns are they nicer ones, while the other isn't? Until you guys and your leader start treating Boko Haram as a national security threat, you will continue wallowing, blaming, pointing fingers at everybody, especially your political opponents. Yar Adua use every avenue available to him to get your mentioned amnesty, but Jonathan spent the last 3 years blackmailing, calling any opponent the sponsors of Boko Haram and even said that their leaders are in his own govt at one time. Did we ever see him sacking anyone to reflect that? No! At a point, you guys said it was IBB, then Atiku, later it was Buhari and it was the same people you had be blaming and point finger at that you always turn around again asking to solve Boko Haram problem. What sort of reasoning is that? Yar Adua did not kept telling the world that MEND is doing it because they don't like him, instead of doing something. Even a fool knew that Boko Haram had more religious root than politics and is older than Jonathan as a politician. Now they have got out of hand, because you spend time accsing those who could help you in the first place irrespective of your politcaal differences. |
Praktikals: God forbid that Jonathan should stay beyond 2015 in Aso RockYou better get use to that very idea, it could happen again. |
Bliss4Lyfe: Don't know about the rest of you, but the prospect of Dis guy(Buhari), becoming President for the second time, will tell very badly on Nigeria as a nation.Youths, you mean the IPOD generation that knew nothing from their left to their right? The last time youthful Bankole was in charge, how many mountain did he move and how did he fair with his boyish brain? |
lacasa: GEJ can never pull such a crowd in Abuja, o r even in the south-south without paying for their presence. So you preferred Ahmadu Bello today to demi god Awolowo for convenience of it? ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: What an irony. When it comes to political rallies for selfish political ambitions Buhari and other leaders of the north will pull CROWD. But when it comes to solving national problems, like rein in on Boko Haram insurgents to stop the mayhem, leaders in the north become POWERLESS. Why cant northern leaders organise anti-Boko haram rallies in the north?Really? Thats your best of honesty talk? How many anti MEND rallies can you recall, southern leaders organised during their own dose of rampage? |
percipi1: I don't think you need a primary school intelligence to know that "IJaw Citizen" is a genuine Ijaw. He could even write in Ijaw. I don't really know why you can't get it pass you that there are lots of I jaws who will rather die than go into alliance with Igbo or Yoruba.Maybe, you don't realise that the feeling is very much mutual. No Igbo man with his head well screwed in want a country with the Ijaws in it. I personally had been saying it on this forum for many years for any one that cares to hear. I have said it that the only ethnic group I will accept in a nation with are Efik, Annang and Ibibio and that is purely based on their own choice and our choice to be with them too. Even Igbos outside the present five states in Igbo land who wishes to go anywhere or stay on its own is very much welcomed to it, they should do what they think serves their best interest. You can't leave a hyper marriage of Nigeria, only to go and start a mini Nigeria. Any Ijaw person deluding self that Igbos are desperate to be in any sort of union with them, surely needs their heads examined. That is fantasy. |
ijaw citizen: Na wa oooo!In reality, if you are IJaw, I must be an Afghan. |
ARES: The south have spoken, and the north has replied... East and west lets hear ur ownThe East said theirs with actions more than 40 years ago, others (sub South/North) are just waking up, the West is still pretending to be in a slumber with both feet on each side of the fence. Good morning to all them. |
chai... So you've seen it in America or any other that its everywhere there's drainage even 25km entrance (that there's no one living along the road) before it gets to the main town? Shame on you critics! You guys are the type spoiling Nigeria.
Glad you know your geography. Which America are you referring to- Nicaragua or Honduras? |
nijanigga: yeye man, don't you know that abacha divided nigeria longtime ago?It would have be more beneficial if you had explained how Abacha dividing Nigeria in your opinion got to do with the topic and who knows, I can learn from you, rather than just calling me a yeye man. Wasted generation with lack of simplest of manners. |
BluIvy: And your right to rule does not mean you need to be given the presidency on platter. You must convince the Nigerian voter that you are capable to bring positive change then they can entrust their vote to you so far you have been confusing Nigerians with your wish for Biafra. You ignored your own theory , wisdom and unsolicited advise in 1999, when you threatened the end of Nigeria, unless one of you is made president, hence OBJ and Falae was the only choice. Do not always give prescription, you cannot take yourself. Now, tell me what is the igbo stand? For or against Nigeria all things considered? Without jumping and supporting anyone who threatens the sovereinghty of Nigeria.Igbos don't owe you or any person explanation of what they stood for, after sacrificing millions of lives, life earnings, starvation for the sake of being alone but you drag them back into Nigeria. Nothing has changed, the only difference now is that the source of news is no longer controlled and manipulated by a certain group or individuals. |
mekaboy: Tinubu has taken sides with the north. The rest of Nigeria should leave this APC to the SW and NOrth. When the issue of arresting asari came up in the assembly, the former governor of anambra state ezeife, said that the arrest should start with all those who made previous statements. Which is the right thing to do.Sometimes, I really believe that some of you are naive about the workings of Nigeria. All this grouping yourself with the middle belt is naivety in the highest point. When the chicks are down, they always know where to make friends and its no other place than their fulani and Hausa masters. Middle belt officers were in the forefront of many atrocities inside Biafra. They supervised abandoned property distribution, especially in Rivers state. They killed Ironsi and Fajuyi like chicken. They make up the majority of the tagged IBB boys, their sons and daughter are huge stake holders within the ACF. In life, repeating a former mistake brings the worst outcome than the previous. I can't wait for this 2015, because I believe that all of you from all sides are in for a rude shock from Nigeria. |
2iic: National Leader, Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has warned loyalists and aides of President Goodluck Jonathan against taking the unity of Nigeria for granted and setting the country on fire. Can someone really threatened something (Nigerian unity) that never existed? Can you set fire on something that is already into ashes, really? |
Do you not see differences between these leagues? Nigerians will watch when it is well developed. You cannot even compare the Nigerian league to that of South African because it reeks of mediocrity. I wish Nigeria had good stadiums and league standard like of South Africa.
I don't think that the sort of league you want to watch or South African league mentioned was made possible by angels from heaven. Nigerian league will continue to be reeking of mediocrity if the trend of feckless and glory hunting Nigerian Chelsea, Barcelona etc supporters persist. We love good thing made possible by others, but always forgot that good thing come from effort and good planning, the two things we lack the most. |
Aigbofa: If the post of a deputy governor is not a service, what is it then? Public service does not mean you cannot earn a salary because you still need eat and feed your family. Its a salary job and mos jobs are just pointless. The deputy governor and vice president position are one those pointless salary positions. How can you ask your second question without looking at her impressive CV? It matters to be that someone with a lot to hive from her upstairs, will leave to go and seat idle as a deputy governor doing nothing. Don't get me wrong, her bank balance will sure look better than it has ever been in few moths time, but as to regards what her positons benefits humanity being deputy governor, its just zit. |
Rossikk: Okupe put the fool in his place.Maybe, next time he wants to put anyone in his place, in his Iddo motor park style, probably its wise he uses NTA, no one watches, with Al Jazeera, people around the globe are watching and it doesn't look good, and thats for those that cares about Nigerian image. |
heskay0: “The late Umaru was a kind of leader that would goIt seem everything in Katsina is named Yar Adua. Thats humility Nigerian style. |
Umeh Road has been inaccessible for decade, but thank God for the intervention of Dr. Uduaghan who has the good people of Delta State at heart and sees it as a matter of urgency to award Umeh Road in few week and give project completion limit. Kudos to Uduaghan for this great Job.
He is not doing any intervention, he is just doing the job he begged or rigged to be elected to do. Thank God? Some of you need a serious mental re-orientation. If those with some measure of education reasons like this, Amadioha helps us with the unlettered in their villages. Don't forget your God sent governor is well paid and rewarded to act as your governor and will leave as a billionaire probably, and here you are...... |
What is it with Nigerians and jubilating over roads?
Its many years of military mental manipulation and torture. Only in Nigeria, in a modern society, that politicians and their zombie followers still call road construction and other essential amenities as achievement in power. Some even celebrates 17th century borehole water supply. |
9jadelta: not evry roads will get drainage and street light now oga . stop embarrassing usWhere did you get the idea that every road doesn't need a drainage? So rain doesn't fall on that part of Delta? They don't have waste in Delta? Especially in an equatorial rainforest like Southern Nigeria. And you are talking about someone embarrassing self? You really got to laugh with Nigerians. |
Rossikk: How? Okupe just made Sowore look like what he is - a mental midget, and a disgruntled American wannabe kid who thinks running down his country from the US is really it.So saying that Okupe, your country's spokesman scammed the Benue state government meant running down you country? Well, with men like Okupe in charge of running the affairs of Nigeria, you don't need the American wannabe to run down anything. Okupe and the likes of him are doing a very good job of it already. |
This Okupe guy had me in stitches, how he barked out shut-up on the Saharareporter guy. The thought that an Agbero like this a is special adviser to Jonathan makes you wonder. What exactly will such tout bully be advising him on? |
Billyonaire: Reno Omokri is a great patriot and a true Nigerian. I find in him the ingredients to make a good intellectual soup for politically knowledgeable consumption. He, Reno, is a great mind.Until the day he will change camp with you, that day he will become great non patriot, a false Nigerian, that day you will find his intellectual ingredients good for the dog soup, not fit for knowledgeable consumption and a useless mind Reno will become. |
its in their blood to flee. they cant stand ground and fight. Zik Okpara Ojukwu Achebe ....they like to pull out weapon but when their opponent pull out his own weapon then they turn on their heels and dissapear. when they reappear if you ask wetin happen why you fled, their response will be "oh, the other guy pulled a bigger weapon". baboons should think ahead before showing teeth to the lion that the cat is likely to use its claws in addition to teeth. battle time is no time to run. fvkng COWARDS!!
Shakara Oloje are not an Igbo words. Trying to take you clothes off first and asking someone to hold it for you before you can start a fight is not an Igbo behaviour. Now you can use your tongue to count your teeth. |
if we didnt support igbo we would have given you the Hausa dagger treatment. the fact you continue to troop to west when you flee north and east should tell you where your survival lies. if we shut you out that"s it! you will go into extinction. Hausa dont want you, your brothers in iboland dont want you.....where else can you go? Dokubo wants you though. there is hope for you in ijawland.
Name the Western (Yoruba) lands Igbos are trooping? |
My accolade for Fergie is: Without underhand tactics, bulling and harassment of officials and opposing team, So many last minute penalties at old trafford over the years, not worrying about money to spend on best players or money to keep best players, buying other rival's best assets and having Howard Webb and Mark Clatenburg as your unofficial number 10 and 9, how many trophies do you think you would have won over 26 years period in charge? |
Really? I thought the special one loves Chelsea more than his mother, he kept telling us? Going to United? That must be a special way of showing your love to your beloved. |
I bet Nigerian prophets never see this one coming even by yesterday? It must have slipped God's mind. |
Rhino? Your brother? I dey fear o!
Is Rhino a man or a woman, I don't know? |
At least Major Hamza Al Mustapha, the killer of Abiola and his wife is presently in Lagos prison sentenced to death, NO? By the way, why are you expecting us, cowards to avenge any death, isn't bravery a monopoly of igbo ethnic group alone?
So Mustapha in prison is your best idea of avenging the killing your field marshall? I never called you anything, including a coward, but if you chose to be one, that is strictly up to you my brother. |
At least they haven't lost 3 million souls to the northerners yet? By the way, what are you to avenge the constant slaughtering of your igbo brothers in the north?
Maybe Igbos are waiting to follow your foot step when you had avenge first, the killing of your field marshall MKO Abiola and his wife. You should lead by example. |
