thelastPope: fa fa fa! fowl! You are only a pretender! That group of folks that try to be more catholic than the pope. You are suffering from an identity crisis!... grin
A pretender of what exactly? Go through my posts and give me, even a half example to support your warped claim and I will raise my hand up and apologise.
My identity is a crystal clear as you get. I am a full bloodied and unadulterated Igbo Biafra man and don't confuse me with yourself.
PoliticsRe: Lessons From The USA - When Nationhood Supercedes Partisanship by Eziachi: 4:51pm On Apr 19, 2013
thelastPope: Meanwhile, back home in Nigeria, some have refused to participate because the president did not come to their house to beg them. These are the same people that have been shouting amnesty. SMH!
Obama was in Boston within 48 hours in person with his wife to reassure the city and the citizens, in your own case, it took your president 2 years to reach Borno state, only after being blackmailed into it by the opposition governors.

The FBI, state and local police went to work straight with the aid of the public. While in your own case, they changes on who the sponsor of the terror is on a daily basis, mainly their political opponents, while the masses are being murdered. The masses cannot aid the security agencies because they are their enemy number one.

Obama allowed the security agencies to do their job, while they brief him daily. In your own case, even when the dust of the Abuja bombing is yet settled, Jonathan announced that MEND wasn't responsible it. In that case, where do you expect the security agencies to go from there, after such a pronouncement?

In the United State, the security of the masses is number one priority, in your own case their security is at the bottom of the list.

You don't compare a mango to a cassava, as we always rip what we invest. And by the way, Nigeria is not a nation, simply an enterprise.

thelastPope: But you are busy thanking Fashola and Rochas and it is a sin to thank GEJ. I already told you before, you are making a fool of yourself... grin
You surely then must be mistaking me for someone else.
Its an insult on my person to be associated in any possible way to any damned Nigerian rogue politician, let alone thanking him for a job he is well paid and well rewarded to do.
My opinion is based on myself as person, not because I followed like a zombie any of the PLC political parties like you. Because with your attitude, even if a goat stand today to run for an office, you will vote for him as long as he is representing one of your tormentors called parties.
Fashola/Rochas my as*. They should come and support me.
PoliticsRe: More Progress On Benin-ore Road by Eziachi:
omanzo02: Dude, I drive on German road and the countries I mentioned regularly, so keep your hypocricy to yourself, the road meet conventional inter-state road design,
I am a Mazi and not a dude and I repeat that its the Germany that you see in your Atlas elementary school geography, which you drove through in a dream, not the real Germany.
This is the real Germany pix number 2 and M2 in Britain far back 1973 and that is what your should expect after 14 years and billions of your money wasted and stolen.

PoliticsRe: More Progress On Benin-ore Road by Eziachi: 4:00pm On Apr 19, 2013
ypzilanti: True talk. But GEJ is not exactly known for competence or excellence. Please let us thank him for this road: Go on Mr. President, you can do it! grin

Seriously that road was a nightmare. Baby steps, abeg. I'm not expecting GEJ to be the guy that will build the 6 lane express, but I can hope he will at least manage to fix the roads his PDP colleague OBJ abandoned.
You don't have to thank him for delivering very little or half baked with your own money. That is his job he is well paid to do and not a charity.
When you go to a restaurant to eat, you don't pay and then thank the proprietor for serving your food not only cold but late with an unwashed plate.
PoliticsRe: More Progress On Benin-ore Road by Eziachi: 2:41pm On Apr 19, 2013
omanzo02: You are a novice, even international and inter-regional/state roads in Germany, France, England, Italy & Spain with hectic traffic are 2 lanes to & fro, where the road access at a hill or mountains are expanded to 3 or 4 lanes, at depending point the road narrows back to 2 lanes.

So stop thinking with your anus..
I bet its the Germany you see in Atlas book of your geography class, not the real Germany
PoliticsRe: More Progress On Benin-ore Road by Eziachi: 2:39pm On Apr 19, 2013
thelastPope: And who are these your tormentors sef? Abeg check your village well oh. Or are you the only WAEC holder in your village. Please they should stop tormenting you oh. It is not fair... grin

And please, the way it is is what you see in the picture. Ask the guy who promised you 8 lane class A1 road to come back and fulfill his promise. The guy there now says he will rehabilitate the road and after that they will reconstruct it. He has already fulfilled stage 1. We will now move on to stage 2. Keep blabbing there!
Its unfortunate that lackeys like your don't think for themselves but always follows the whenever the current wind blows. PDP govt promised you 8 lane road in 1999 and by 2013, the same PDP government gave you a still yet to be completed single lane road having spent billions and you are jubilating and killing an antelope for yourself? Still you don't know your tormentors. Most roads Akpabio is doing in Akwa Ibom makes this road looks like a farm road.

Don't worry your brain, I will keep saying it the way it is, if that is called making a fool of oneself in your village, then so be it. I rather honestly make a fool of myself than being a windpipe lackey of your tormentors.
PoliticsRe: More Progress On Benin-ore Road by Eziachi: 2:09pm On Apr 19, 2013
Is this the 8 (eight) lane modern motorway they promised and been doing since 1999?. 14 years waiting for a trunk B road?

tobnical: The insult to the president of the nation who is the symbol of our collective sovereignty
The symbol of a collective sovereignty in a democracy is the constitution and not a passing politician. When you use people best suited to work at Iddo motor park as your spokesman, this is what you get-gutter language and inaccurate statements.

Yomieluv: Nigeria, and their stale News, and pull him down syndrome. The pix the op showed were the one used by The punch newspaper, when it ran a caption on the said stadium (Abuja stadium). The Abuja stadium is now fully renovated, and under the maintenance of Julius Berger. The Teslim Balogun stadium recently held a local competition, which can't be held in desolated state. I can't say much about the National stadium,Lagos.

I have to say this, cos some dimwits like the Op would start bashing, and throw barrages of insults to the authority without any knowledge of the current state of the stadium.

Am not a Fan of GEJ,but I hate when people comment with prejudice.

I rest my case.
Have you any evidence like picture to back your own version? The Op may be trying to score a point based on prejudice as you said, but until you provide the evidence to backup your, we will keep history until that time.

You are right, the stadium is now habited by small and big animals, so you are right to call it a game reserve. Yankari National Stadium Game Reserve Abuja.

purpleclouds: So why is Nigeria the way it is then?

Colonialism is not the cause of everything but to pretend that it did not have regressive effect is being dishonest. Do you think bleaching of the skin was big before the British or after?
If you are over 50 years old and still blaming your parents for your situation of unproductive life of poverty, then you have a huge problem. The way Nigeria is now is totally down to Nigerians as it was the same British that ruled Malaysia and others.
And you totally lost me with the bleaching skin bit, I have no idea what you're on about or what you skin got to do with the British.

ezeagu: What happend over the 50 years was influenced by the British hierarchy, which was created because certain leaders of certain groups were more willing to become playthings for them.
The British are not holding guns on your throat. Still blaming them after 50 years of your own modern civilisation is simply lame.

Meaning that you agreed, we should have SNC.

You also agreed to the guy's ( man ) concept, that the bed we're using wasn't laid by us, we need to change it to suite us.[/quote]SNC my as*!
SNC is a Yoruba vocabulary after June 12 injustice. Once even their worst nightmare (OBJ) came to the throne, that word quickly disappeared. We have already had a SNC at Aburi, which they throw into the lagoon and went to war instead.
Who needs another one?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria May Break Up Before 2015 by Eziachi: 5:45pm On Apr 12, 2013
Rossikk: Nigerians do not want to break up or else they would have done so many decades ago. Of 170 million Nigerians, the overwhelming majority get on well with one other and have no problems whatsoever. It is only a tiny minority of GOATS who won't let us hear something because of their sick ethnic obsession.
This is so funny.
Please can go back to read your own posts on Nairaland and tell us whether you are included in this your fathom 170 millions that overwhelmingly gets on inside Nigeria?

Rossikk: Any riffraff seeking relevance and attention in the country does so these days by predicting doom for the nation. That's the latest vogue in town.
How you love to call it a nation at the mere mention of breakup but you never waste time in calling on your so called fellow Nigerians to go back to their places. You love Nigeria but hate Nigerians grin grin
PoliticsRe: Nigeria May Break Up Before 2015 by Eziachi: 5:36pm On Apr 12, 2013
Nigeria broke up many years ago, only that the ruling elite kept its decayed body for the benefits it brings them. Its burial date may not be long as the stench and the diseases from the body is becoming unbearable irrespective of the benefit it bring the keepers.

Ngozievergreen: The single most impt explanation. The british hates those rebellious to them
@ OP, but the hausas are still not as civilised and fly as the southerners. So, ka okeke jechere army, kedu boot ya?
This had always been the most unfortunate and counter productive, senseless and meaningless stereotype-that Hausa/Fulani folks are all stupid by many misguided southerners.
Even after what has happened before our eyes in the last 50 years? Big mistake, if you ask me.
PoliticsRe: Our Case Against Leadership Newspaper – Abati by Eziachi: 4:42pm On Apr 12, 2013
slimghost: Whats your ish with Abati? I see nothing wrong with that press release. The police would first do their investigation before taking anybody to court, and guess what; interrogation is part of investigation. Stop letting hatred becloud your judgment.
What in your opinion do you think I have with Abati? Thats not a reasonable question because its meaningless.

What on earth will I have with him except that he is a public figure, whose utterances and actions is subject for discussion by anyone who care to do so?

And its my opinion that is doing Jonathan and his government so unrepairable damage because I think he lack the human intelligent to do his job.

Academic intelligent is never the same with natural intelligent, which I believe that Abati lacks. I think by the time Jonathan realises the huge damage Abati and Okupe is doing to him and his govt, it maybe too late. Nothing personal.

PoliticsRe: Opposition Cannot Spoon-Feed The Government - ACN by Eziachi:
adisarasaq: I am not a friend of PDP but i think it is every body's duty to always look for way to help his or her Country. If ACN is truly mean to better our lifes let them start by surgesting solution to our problems and if FG refuse to make use of it the whole world will see.
Sometimes I do believe that most of you don't understand how democracy works after years of military dictatorship.

When you are in opposition, you don't even need to have a plan-said a former British foreign secretary once. And that is is true nature of democracy. An opposition is not in business to be voicing solution to the govt when the election is few years ahead.

If they start voicing out the solution, what will they do during the election campaign? What happens if the government steals their ideas? Why can't many of you understand that politics is competition for political power among the political parties? A good game players keeps his jokers to himself until its the time to use it to win and if it doesn't have any, he is unlikely to tell you that.

Lai Mohammed is spot on, opposition parties are not in the business of spoon feeding the government they want replace by telling them the solutions, if any.
Its like asking a boxer to be telling his opponent, the best way to avoid an fragile chin, when their fight is still ahead. All he need to hear from him until the d-day is that he will knock him out because he got the best plan.
What is that best plan? Wait until its time to rumble. grin
I feel sorry for Jonathan always- because I believe he surrounded himself with the most inept PR group I have ever known in Abati and Okupe. They have both done more damage to him than good, each time they opened their mouth. Only time will tell.

The public and those that lost their loved ones don't care who sponsors it, they pay you handsomely each month to stop it. As for making Nigerian ungovernable, I think it was Atiku that said that.
But how can a private person make something ungovernable for someone that command the whole of the army, police, navy, airforce, secret services, prisons and other security apparatus and central bank at his disposal?
You can't be holding both the knife and the yam and complaining that another person is making your family hungry.
