Do not disturb yourself. As long as these bastards keep bombing, the people in the Region will turn against them and fish them out.
For now people are still blind with tribal affiliations. Soon they will realise that these Avengers are pure evil and bring destruction.
Their people are complaining of the destruction they have done, now they want to use other people's land for their stupid struggle. sometimes I wonder why people let tribal affiliations and sentiments cover their level of judgment A group calling for kanu's release.. Giving ultimatum here and there, even calling for the corruption fight to be shifted to the opposition. And dasuki's release. This is a group who claims to be fighting for the betterment of their people involving themselves in cheap Nigerian politics Niger Deltans shine your eyes |

Britboy: Personally, I don't wish for war...and so do others. What many are saying is that; the FG should listen to their demands. All the demands are likely not going to be met, there would be compromises from both sides, but a reasonable agreement should be reached. However, trying to subdue these guys with the military, is only going to escalate the situation.
Buhari is like the Egyptian Pharoah, who blatantly refused to release the Israelites from captivity, despite so many plagues that befell him and his people. He eventually succumbed when he was hit the hardest! Same is happening with Buhari, from one problem (plague) to the other, yet; he's still being stubborn. When the time comes, he'll succumb, but it might already be too late...the deed would've been done by then. *watch this space, better still... bookmark this page* didn't the fg listened to their demands and agreed on a cease fire which the neglected. Considering that some of the demands are outrightly ridiculous.and tell me how is the fg going to negotiate with a group who has no define leadership Today is JNDLF tomorrow is avengers nxt is Egbesu boys, who the hell are these people and what do they want?? What is their mandate imagine one of the group's calling for dasuki's release tell me how that concerns the plight of the ND.and why did the have to wait till a northerner is in power before bringing all this demsnds ,was their own not in power for 5years why didn't the table all this request before him? |

Without money, anybody can compromise the secret of the country from ministers to defense personnel. Abi if government start owing them and cutting on their benefits dem no go start selling our secrets one one naira to foreign enemies for black market. it won't reach the extent were the will be no money to finance govt. Themandator: There will never be any 'real combat'. Gorilla warfare is what they boys have adopted which means they will only surprise you when you least expected... Just like boko was doing initially until it got into their head to hold territories... Gorilla war is very frustrating for the most equipped side.
No nation has ever won against such group (America tried in Iraq and failed and pulled out, Russia did same in Afghanistan and also failed) because it is time and resources consuming... You fly birds(surveillance aircrafts) for months and then conclude that all is well and boom it goes. Even when you locate a hide it never houses all your target do you bomb 2 persons with 300k dollars bombs and refuel to continue search I earlier quoted you asking you to give ne the estimated casualties on the side of the Vietnamese soldiers who fought america in the 60' and compared with that of the Americans You still havnt given me a reply Now let me put it to you this way, when the Americans went to north Vietnam their intent was not to grab territories just as they did in Iraq and Afghanistan..the measured success in the war with the number of dead bodies left after each encounter with the Viet guriellas.same applied in Iraq the insurgents were using hit and run tactics to hit the Americans but tell me who had the highest casualties. One thing you all fail to realise is this WAR IS NOT WON BY WAY POWER BUT BY FIRE POWER.the side with the highest fire power will eventually come out victorious no matter how sophisticated ur technique is..and you think guerilla warfare is new to the Nigerian military.. The major problem the Nigerian military will in tackling the avengers and other sympathizers is the rough and difficult terrain of the Niger Delta, the tough vegetation and thick forest leaves makes it almost impossible for drones and helicopters to see their targets clearly |

Let the soldiers face the avengers not the innocent citizens and let's see who is more equipped and trained. who said anything about commuting genocide,am only stating the obvious fact that will happen here on NL and other social media outlets. When the military start engaging this boys in real combat people like your type will still come here on NL and type genocide and call for amnesty to probe the killings And BTW who told you the were not collateral damage in the war in Afghanistan, why don't you research and see how many civilians lost their lives during the American allied campaign in Afghanistan You think the can ever be a war were civilians will not be affected. Most of you don't even have a slightest idea of what you clamouring for,you think war is child's play |

samcolee: The most dreaded militant group within the oil rich region of the Southern Nigeria, Niger Delta Avengers have reportedly, invaded Nigeria Soldiers guarding one of the oil facilities owned by Shell Petroleum Development Company, had a chart with the force men and left them unharmed. Eastern Radio interviewed an eyewitness who narrated how the incident took place on Friday last week. "I've been waiting for the mainstream Nigerian media to report it but up till this moment it has not. I think this is the case because no oil facility was blown up" "On Friday afternoon, a strike force of the Avengers arrived at the waterfront of Gbaraintoru community in Yenagoa LGA of Bayelsa State in three gun boats. The military men guarding Shell's liquefied and natural gas gathering plant on the outskirts of the community where some gas flaring takes place, began to retreat as they were clearly outnumbered but the Avengers called out to them, asking them not to flee because they meant them no harm". "They dropped a message with the soldiers. They told them to inform Shell to shut down the plant at once. That they do not want to see that gas flare anymore. After which they zoomed off and were soon out of sight". "Presently, the plant has been shot down by Shell and staff have been evacuated". so far they've not been reported clash of NDA and the military.the NDA as so far kept its promise of not attacking the military which I'll say is good In your report its stated clearly that the soldiers were outnumbered, therefore it will be illogical of them to engage the militants when the militants did not fire first..there are rules of engagement which our soldiers adhere to.. |

Army "air unit"I appreciate you given the Nigerian army some credits but as of now the only armed wing of the Nigerian military operating major drones are the air force the army air unit is still in its early formation and what they are dealing with right now is having helicopter pilots and acquiring gunships..so you see my friend the airforce is much needed..the army will provide amphibious forces for ground raids while the air force will be the eye in the sky monitoring and gathering Intel And when needs arises provide aerial bombardment Goodday |

These men in black stopped and came and search me they did not find anything on me, suddenly they said am a suspect and I asked suspect for what?!. What I received was a punch to my left eye. My eye swollen and red. I was bundled into their van and taken to the station. I was locked up without a statement. it took the intervention of the engineer whom I worked for and an SAN who owns the house we were building to get me out. I was accused of robbery. what was my offence? gala and mineral which I was eating. I treated myself. for three weeks I can't look at light. Now back to this post; I believe when u joined the Army (or ur course mate), u swore an oat of secrecy an allegiance. What u r doing here has consequences, cos this is still an ungoing operation.
The Army has a media and publicity office, with the security clearance to divulge dis information to the public.
I don't believe the Army will allow an officer to wear slippers/sandals on parade. Same as on operation, it is very unprofessional. Soldiers who fought in Vietnam and other wars never wore slippers. Wearing slippers will expose u to more dangers than mere discomfort. what the op did was to give people a tip of what is currently going on in the operation theatre His currently serving in the NE and his course mate sent him these pics I don't get the fuss about it Concerning the slippers issue..I don't think the Nigeria military has a standard webbing outfit for its troops.unlike the Americans who served in Vietnam and around the globe So expect too see more soldiers looking like this Until d military authorities begin to dish out proper webbing for our troops |
