Iraq was not stronger than Iran then, Iraq only thought of Invading Iran because of his allies and the upcoming sanctions eating Iran up, so Saddam Hussein thought that would be a perfect time to strike.

Even after he started the war, he couldn't move deep into Iran before Iran chanced him out, and Iraq was now on a defensive battle instead of Offensive. Iraq can't be stronger than Iran then, if Iran had gotten the level of supports Iraq got, they would have captured the entire Iraq.

America will destroy Iran, no doubt, but the issue is that you feel it will cost US nothing, which is not true, Iran unlike Iraq has been preparing for foreign invasion since after their relationship went sour with US, so they invested a lot in defense, Iraq never thought his so called allies would invade him, so two different scenarios.

Try to get into 1[b][/b]6 AIr Assault brigade, pass your jump course and wear the maroon beret with pride. I have since left the BA, enjoying civvy street now.

he actually posted a video, saying he made some enemies due to his post on instagram and he has since be let go, after serving and wasting 5 years of his life in the NA. But he took the video down after some hours. Some people also testify to it as well

British army airborne veteran (16 Air Assault Brigade), highlight of my career was training with the American 82nd Airborne. I have also trained and deployed with airborne troops from most european armies e.g French (top drinkers!), German, polish etc. Travelled around the world, been to kenya several times to train kenyan airborne particularly their airborne medics. My ex-employers wouldn't send me to Nigeria for obvious reasons, they sent a few of my colleagues instead to Kaduna, Nigeria to train the air force ''SF''. The photos of my ex-colleagues were even posted here at some point.

I follow this thread because it brings back some nostalgic memories.

You see the high level of indiscipline prevelant in the rank and file of the Nigerian army.

This is exactly what i've been saying all day, irrespective of the equipment, indiscipline is rife.

2 T-72 Tanks destroyed

2 Vickers MBT destroyed

Otokar Cobra destroyed

Streit Typhoon MRAP destroyed

The soldiers don't even know the Tanks, saying the T-72s were bought during Shagari's regime.

How do we move from this?

Soldiers are indisciplined, CO's lack strategy, leadership and are utterly corrupt, the high command are living in some sort of kuvuki land.


You lose with all that, and i spend my days posting pictures celebrating these troops!

Why call for declaration of state of emergency in Zamfara state? Is it no longer a simple case of local criminal banditry according to buhari's terrorist govt? The bandits we know are just a group of localized criminals who's main objective is to steal and not KILL. If state of emergency should be declared in Zamfara because of BANDITS, then state of emergency may as well be declared in Lagos state. Lagos has more bandits than Zamfara state. You can't declare state of emergency over mere criminals.

IT IS ONLY IN NIGERIA WHERE TERRORIST MURDERERS WHO GO ABOUT VILLAGE TO VILLAGE WIPING AND KILLING OFF INHABITANTS ARE CALLED BANDITS.
The mere fact that people are now calling for state of emergency in Zamfara shows that the killings currently going on in the state was never about bandits but a case of TERRORIST INVASION.
Nigerians should rather call for the resignation of buhari for lying about the real situation in Zamfara state instead of calling for state of emergency.
