She's deserving of it in every way. Beautiful people deserve beautiful things and I tell you, that lady is too pretty not to deserve that car. I wish them a sweeter-long-lasting marriage with awesome looking kids, amen. 8 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Prince Akenzua To Oshiomhole: You Have No Right To Impose A Governor On Us by Fairgodwin(m): 9:53am On Sep 01, 2016 |
I think I quit agree with the monarch. The governor stood against godfatherism in all ramifications [during his first tenure electioneering] and the people supported him massively even for that reason alone. But now he's turned to the same godfather he vehemently opposed and overcame, so to speak. Godfatherism is not all that bad in itself (in politics), but imposition is quite bad and that, we seriously hate. .. .. .. .. By the way, Edo State: A State so naturally endowed with fugly politicians. I rest my case! 5 Likes |

Events / Re: Bride And Groom Running On Their Wedding Day by Fairgodwin(m): 7:17am On Aug 15, 2016 |
I don't think a bride and groom can run to their wedding because the truth is, a bride and groom do not leave for the wedding at the same time or in the same vehicle. They leave separately from their respective homes and they meet at the church. I can agree with you if you say they were running to their reception (venue) though. 4 Likes |

And someone was saying in another thread [that] we should have compassion for celebrities. You see why some of them don't deserve compassion? They deliberately court controversies and [social media] attacks. By the way, this one is not a celebrity, so guys please feel free to bash her all you want, because... Claim To Fame: sister, Linda Ikeji. 13 Likes 1 Share |
Celebrities / Re: Celebrity-Bullying: Can We Use A Little Compassion? by Fairgodwin(m): 5:35pm On Aug 14, 2016 |
Inasmuch as I greatly agree with the OP, I still also believe it would be safe to also caution these celebrities especially for their actions. Sometimes they deliberately do what they do because they feel they're larger than life itself. They sometimes get in people's faces intentionally because they feel those people are nobodies and can't do them anything. The truth is, some of them love being bullied, actually, while some are bullies themselves. Sometimes they feel absolute zero remorse for what they do and this is one major reason people or rather most people, lose all form of empathy for them. A typical example (I'm sorry to say) is the case of Ibinabo Febresima (the actress and former Actors Guild President), who killed a doctor (man slaughter, please) and yet felt no iota of remorse for her actions, especially towards the man's family. And that was exactly what got the family of the late doctor angry and they decided to pursue the case to the very end. But like you rightly said, they're humans too, just like everyone of us and as such, deserve our compassion, forgiveness, empathy, and even sympathy (at times) . 6 Likes |

Desdola: Believe me when I say he wasn't lying. From my place to Ikeja by bus is 80/100 naira, depending on the size of the bus. But if you want to take a cab, it is between N2000 and N2,500. That's just Lagos for you bro. 2 Likes |

I am not even interested in whether it was a scam or not, I really care-less about all that. All I wholeheartedly and sincerely want (both to hear and know) is that the lady, Mayowa, is now well and fine - I want to hear she's not only recuperating, but recovering fast. AMEN! 85 Likes 4 Shares |

These guys need their own space at times, if not most times. They have their own lives to live, so all these attention-seeking-fans should let them breathe and go get a life. I am not a fan of Christiano's or any celebrity's for that matter, but I believe he's human too, and he just showed his human side (of life). The fan got what he deserves - embarrassment! 27 Likes 2 Shares |

I really don't think your battery is good at all. Though mine used to last a full day on a full charge, but ever since I logged into a virus infected website, I was told by Google security, that my battery has been infected/affected by malware (whatever that means). Though I was warned to press "OK" for it to be rectified but I ignored. So as a result, my battery can now last only about 8 or 9 hours when fully charged, and I am talking about full usage even with my 3G on, playing my battery consuming Candy Crush, listening to music non stop, etc. |
