Even Jesus said it when He said, "ye are gods." |
Good. I learnt the greatest lesson of perseverance, politically, when I first read/heard about Abraham Lincoln of the USA. Sincerely speaking, it is never good to give up on what you so much believe in and love. .. .. I always wish to get my Phd and go into lecturing fully. I have had so many people discourage me, telling me I can't do it just because I don't have the means, financially [yet]. But I WON'T ever give up; for it is my dream and passion and, I must LIVE IT! |
Happy married life. I really love this Nikai of a thing. And I hope to experience it myself, maybe when I marry a Muslim. |
I thought you were a guy, I would have adviced you to go on 'abolo' but since you're a lady, I'm sure the ladies would be in the best position to help. Pele. |
Continue please.... I am following. |
Hahahahaha..... for real? |
She was really ugly, though with a beautiful soul. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. |
This is how you practice true democracy. Jonathan keeps winning more hearts daily ever since the defeat. I tell you, with this attitude, very soon he's gonna be more popular and loved than even the new president. And remember people, he's qualified to contest again! Who knows; all of 'these' might just come in handy and count for him when that time finally comes. I respect you, Dr. Jonathan. |
Nothing. It is possible he's known the Edidem way back even before he became the king. Maybe they even attended the same school way back and are very well acquainted with each other. And besides, he's the governor of the state; the number one citizen of the state. And on the other hand, the Sultan is not just a king, he's also an Islamic leader, controlling a whole geographical region, well respected and admired by his subjects because they accommodate all, irrespective of your political affiliations and moreso, they abhore sycophancy (unlike their Southern counterparts). You've got to respect the Northerners and the way they reverence their traditional leaders and traditional institutions. |
Of course it doesn't and can never mark the end of PDP. I'm even sure they would play the [role of] opposition so well. Interesting things lie ahead in the politcal landscape of Nigeria. And I'm so sure this CHANGE would massively benefit both the PDP, APC, and Nigerians generally in the long run. |
I am in love with Nairaland, for it is the only site I so much rely on for info and the first and last site I visit each day. Though I don't canvass for likes or first to comment. |
Good for her. |
olaglamour:Thank you. |
Let me learn something new today... #keenly following.. |
afolag:hahahaha... you're so funny. Abeg nor vex na. |
Lol.... You said new words from Nigeria and yet you said the origin is Latin(?) Not good enough; cuz the origin is supposed to [still] be Nigeria. |
Bros I can understand how you feel. Quite embarrassing, so to speak. #please take heart. But on a more sincere note, I think you should suspend the wedding for now, to at least really think things through, and also possibly, to gain your confidence back (at least). If I were in your shoes, that's what I'd have done. |
He was only doing his job, I guess. |
boluyongp:Okay, your point is duly noted. Thank you. |
Isn't this just lovely and classy? Nice one, Mr. President. |
NairaQuest:Okay. |
all4naija:Well, don't do it in public. |
it makes sense. Nice one there. |
gbola97:I wouldn't know. |
Exactly my thought too. I saw it, and honestly I nearly got scared, cuz Nairaland has now become a part of me and moreover, I always wish Seun well. |
SonOfTheLion:Love you too bro. And thank you for your kind words. And yes, I love Nigeria. One love, Nigeria. |
Way to go, people. Nice one. Sincerely speaking, I'm very happy for Osinbajo, he so deserves it. And Buhari is the Abraham Lincoln of Africa/Nigeria - failing elections and kept trying - till he finally got it. |
gudxson:I know the General would want to be lenient/merciful and the Pastor would want to preach forgiveness. Imagine that combination. Pastor, forgives. General, merciful. |
Okay? The one about love and money is quite relative. You might ask a girl if she prefers love or money, and she would tell you money just because she doesn't like you and wants to use that to scare you away; but deep down inside of her, she believes in love and wants it. So if the guy she truly likes comes calling, she would give in to love and wouldn't even remember anything like money existed. This assertion is in a vice versa situation. |
