Legit215:Wait till end of July(as there'll be open international flights from Nigeria by then), or use executive bus service to get to Benin, Togo or Ghana to fly from there. Contact ABC transport or other bus companies offering premium transport services to those aforementioned destinations. People are living Nigeria every week. In time of uncertainties like this, new options and opportunities usually sprout up for those in emergency situation. If you know how to dig for information, you'll find your way. |
Sanguine1:He should waka carefully. Some have been unable to get their visa after many attempt because of issue like this. If you want a professional advise: DO NOT SUBMIT ANY DS160 yet, or he will chop refusal at the embassy. First, contact that agent or go back to him/her for basic information he/she used 3 years ago. If you must change anything, make sure they are not critical information that will backfire during the interview. You don't even just want to take any advise from just anyone on this thread on this issue. I know someone who has been refused 6 times because of same issue. Don't fill anything yet. Contact the agent and ask for information filled in certain places, then use that to guide yourself for the new application! |
lekki1444:The most mysterious sign in the zodiac too. I am current drawn to a lady born February 24th. I have been having difficulty forgetting her; she is a magnet, magnificent, intelligent, beautiful, smart...Goodnes! I guess she was right, because she clearly told me I will never forget her or meet anyone like her. Seeming true...I think about her every day, no matter how busy and academically engaged I am. I guess I am the steel then? This girl has charm, given that I have NEVER felt like the way she made me feel when we spent time together. First person to make me feel her presence. Why? Why this particular girl? I have seen several beautiful girls, as friends and sisters. But this girl is completely different! Why? Meanwhile, I am April 25th. My Gloria is so mysterious, so deep, like a forest you cannot see through her. What is she thinking? What is she feeling? But I know she has her soft spot, and need companionship and support to stabilize in her journey of mystery on earth. But the love I have for her is one of a kind, even though we haven't seen since December, and haven't talked in 5 months. Never felt so in love in my entire life. Does she feel the same way? I don't think so. I doubt she even think about me! The issue? She is escapist. She can't be pinned down .She is currently away in Europe. So difficult to reach her, so there's no point trying. She studied medicine and a doctor, which makes her even more appealing and personable to me because it's my dream to marry a lady with a calling in medical-related field. I see them as small Saviours called out by God to help humanity! Pisces is addictive sign, very impressionable (her environment shapes her easily, which can be good or bad). You can't really destroy a Pisces; it destroy itself. That is how dangerous it is! Unpredictably strong and weak! The only sign that has all the traits of other zodiacs within her! So, when you said Pisces is good, you need to elaborate, because the sign can also be highly manipulative, indecisive, foolhardy, and refuse to take good advice even when they know that the advice is the right and beneficial. They can be weak, which is why they have to marry supportive wife/husband and be treated well. If this is the case, a Pisces can be a man/woman greatest gift from God as a partner! You will never run out of intelligence and insight for your business or project. All the Pisces I know that enjoyed early freedom from home are not in their best form as I write. But they are good-hearted, generous, magical lover, sexually exploratory, and if trained well from childhood, are highly intelligent people. My dear graduated with 3.75 GPA on 4.0 scale, which is impressive for medicine. As for being occultist, I guess if the sign is inclined to mysteries, it is secretive too then. I wonder why humans have these characteristics. Are Zodiacs God-designed? Do people star influence their path and quality of life on earth? I am still studying and learning about myself and my traits. I would have doubted Zodiac (I actually do doubt its origin and purpose), but the first time I read about April kids, I saw a lot of facts about me and other April-born I know that I have noticed in the past prior that knowledge. I think our existence are just as mysterious as the stars that we represent or that represent us. |
fnep2smooth: You sounds like a liberated Nigerian youth--one that is not common among the population. May God reward your industry and give you understanding to excel. Amen |
Amotekun777:Lol. They are sure better than your home country that has failed its people. If you don't trust Russia's vaccine, what will you trust? |
dokie:Actually, there were news on Reuter in April about the development. You know that the Corona virus has been here for several years; what is new and novel is Covid-19. So I think with enough research on Corona virus plus new understanding on Covid-19, they have been able to move ahead very fast. If the vaccine works, then Russia will help shape the direction humanity choose. Happy to see this news |
Rozz: "Men" consist of all men. I'm sure you've seen a case where the woman was the terrible person in the collapsed marriage.Just some days ago, Will Smith's wife confessed she had relationship with a 24 old guy (her son's friend), who had come to her to seek emotional support. Do note that Will Smith is one of the nicest men in Hollywood; referred as a successful and goodly man. Marriage is for people who have the qualities it takes to pay the price. Both women and men do fail in their marriage. But I understand you are trying to provide emotional support for your gender. |
etokhana:When you fight corruption with corrupt people, this is the answer you get. Nigeria is just so unlucky among nations. |
Livegamesonly:Mumu! |
Sixfeetbelle:Who cares who she is or what are marital status is. It is her business! |
Zendinho:Yes, the poor has no chance in Nigeria[s common wealth except they are very corrupt and take it by force, which is why criminals are increasing. |
These people are not living as though there are pressing problems in Nigeria that their leadership is demanded to solve. I wonder how any empathic leader can dine and lavish money in a country with so much bloodshed like Nigeria. It is a pity the next generation. |
Angelfrost:I am happy for you bro. God bless your home and keep you and her together till the end of time. Amen! |
Angelfrost:You have met only the people you want to meet. Sorry that you have not met any happy couples; they are many out there. Marriage brings fulfillment. Marriage did not work for some people not because marriage is societal bandwagon; it didn't work because people did not understand what marriage entails and the price it demands in order to work. If you barge into a venture/business that you did not first understand, you will incurred pain and misery. A selfish generation cannot understand what marriage is: Marriage is for selfless people, not kids who are not earnest and committed to family life. Marriage brings fulfillment, but you'd never know if you end up married for the wrong reason with the wrong person. That is that! |
cococandy:There is nothing wrong with the comment. A woman who can sleep with men can also be married. It is true that most single women above age 30 do have inner pain, and desire companionship. A well-lived life advances humanity. Goals and good life has never stopped any woman or man from having a home with wife/husband and children. This generation is just so selfish and confuse. I imagine if every woman is like Rita, humanity is doomed. Is that what you want? Best of luck |
Digitalstarlite:Marriage is not for weak people. When you reach 50 and still single, you'd know there is more pain and wahala than being married, having kids and a companion around. Be a good example to the young generation. |
Phenomenalopeye:You haven't done your research very well! |
Phenomenalopeye:approximately 60K. For textbook, I don't have information on that. You will have to check Jumia or Amazon for paper textbook. But I have some PDF textbooks I can send to you for free. And you can also consider tutorial for better performance |
Phenomenalopeye:I can register you. Dm me and let me know when you plan to take the exam. You will have to buy textbooks, but I can send you some PDF |
This thread is very sweet. There's no day I come here that I don't learn something and laugh. The most interesting thread on Nairaland ![]() |
Friedpotato: ![]() O ma wa alright ![]() |
Sanguine1:Oh no, please don't misunderstand me. I never inferred you have a hidden agenda at all. The truth is, I even commend your planning to take your first semester from Nigeria, and if you ask me, I have no opinion against that. I am just looking at implication of getting the visa after you complete the first semester. Also, it is MBA, which is currently taken up by "online program" by most US universities. I hope you get me now. Nevertheless, let us be sanguine about things. Please DM me and let's talk. Didn't know I have been talking to bros ![]() |
Sanguine1:Not sure it is time to DM me. Let's talk here, so that others will learn. Let's talk about what you plan to do, with that question in mind? What is your plan? |
Sanguine1:Well, since you are a graduate student, I will not give you explicit advise. I'll only do for undergrads. ![]() Nevertheless, you certainly think in the right direction by asking that question, but I think it should look like this if you're going to do first semester in Nigeria: "Have you started this course?" You say Yes! Then he ask: "You have done your first semester of MBA online. Why not finish it here? Why spend more money going to the US when you have started it at the comfort of your house and able to attain a good GPA?" What is your answer to this question? Use whatever answer you come up with to decide what is best for you! ![]() If you can take the first semester online, then you can take the entire program online, and so, no need for a visa to travel to the US to complete it, except for graduation ceremony and your degree. All the best! |
Sanguine1:Are you an undergraduate student or graduate? |
Sanguine1:If this is an option for you, weigh the cons against the pros. You have listed 3 inevitable challenges here in case you accept to take the first semester online. If the need and your desire to begin your program this fall outweigh your tolerance for those challenges, and you know your desire won't smolders when you face these challenges, then go on. Make budget plan, see if fueling generator when there is no NEPA light can help, and upgrade your laptop battery, or get a brand new laptop entirely, then see if you can switch to better network, if possible. Note that school officials are very much aware of these challenges, and it is one of the reasons they are challenging the new rule, not merely because the rule says some students should return to their countries. Except you are on full ride scholarship, think very well about this. You don't want to pay some good $ for courses conditions in Nigeria will not let you make the best of. |
Predstan:Let me say something here! I don't know where people get the idea that when there's a problem, there can be no solution from. Because that is what all these argument on reality or not ensued from. Pandemic caused the embassy to shutdown, and there's a new rule from ICE. Trump administration has made many rules it has been forced to re-craft, reverse, and adjust--making way for the necessity. The reality, as you stated here, was not caused by the pandemic, but the new ICE rule, right? Come on, rule can be amended, in a matter of days. So, what is the unnecessary tussle? There is a serious meeting going on on this already, and we will know the outcome soon. As for hope, yes, reality has never stopped man from hoping. You have hoped before; you have hoped for way where you thought there might be no way. Don't even forget that now! People here understand the reality; they all know there is pandemic and that embassy is closed. But nobody, I repeat, nobody should try to tell them to throw their hope in the dust bin because of reality (that embassy is closed, and that it will not reopens)! What if it reopens by month end? And what if it doesn't? What do they lose? The plan is even to attend to "eligible students" only; not a all-service resumption. Let them hope. If embassy opens, they can get the visa they have been working towards for several months; if embassy doesn't open, fine. No human has lost a portion of themself for hoping in the midst of uncertainty! Don't forget that! Make una allow people to hope in the midst of reality please ![]() |
Which Nigerians? They must be aboki and ignorant of realities like the president and his service chiefs. When you are ignorant of the pains other people are feeling, it's very easy to pass useless vote of confidence. |
HoluwadareY:If I were you, I wouldn't bother about who understood you or not. Your focus should be to buckle up and prepare yourself as if the Master of the house can return at any moment. Put your things together and focus on yourself. If embassy opens, you'd be in a better position; if they don't, you don't lose anything. Just don't pay the last two fees required yet. |
GRIMMJOE:Yes, faith, driven by truth! That sums it up. But you don't necessarily have to be at this station for now. As you open yourself, and with occurrences ahead for you, I'm sure you will reach this state and hold unto whatever conclusion you get from your experience. God has His own time, and His own reasons for His new world. I don't want to blame Him for not haven't done it immediately. All the best bro! |
You are creating confusion with your approach to this. It is the pattern of teachings of people like you that has scattered Christianity today. You think there's only one way to having God reveals Himself to people? Now I understand why this thread has reached over 100 pages. Please do better! You really need to go back to my old comments to you. Maximus69: |
