The boy is just funny walahi talahi! cheesy cheesy cheesy

So he taught JWs wants his friendship shey? grin grin grin

Who wants to make friends with someone that takes up issues without taking time to verify things? 1Thessalonians 5:21

His friend screenshot part of an ongoing discussion and pasted it, he never cared to know what prompted the harsh words, and he's now posting it as if he knew what ensued before and after!

Well my advice goes for Rozz.
Be careful and open your eyes, shine am well well, this boy wants to date you, all this hide and seek game is just old tricks, you can learn from his way of judgment, if you fall for him your life is not safe o! The man that stabbed his wife to death and drank poison must have gotten some bad reports about his wife and immaturity led him to take rash decisions instead of calmly asking questions to know what really happened from a lady his been dating for years even engaged to!
I can see fairheart is running after you but he is bad news, God has revealed to you the type of person he is with what just happened between achorladey and Maximus, fairheart never wanted to hear Maximus's side of the story before running to conclusion!
So run for your life o! He is not your type.
Even after seeing the way you're responding to achorladey referring to him as cunning, fairheart just swallowed everything the cunning man levelled against your friend, so watchout and shine your eyes!"

You see why I love Nairaland? there are so many clowns on this forum.
I have read this comment like 5 times, and the laughs that ensued was as fresh as if as I was seeing your comment for the first time.
Seriously, if you can give me your address, I'd be happy to send you the iconic Joker's mask. You can use it for stand up comedy with your friends cheesy. You made me laugh so much.

Your joke is lethal, nevertheless. My intuition tells me you're still in your 20s, and very immature.
BTW, let us assume that I'm truly after Rozz, what would that make you?? An errand boy and a silly middle-person who couldn't control his foul mouth and attends to errand before I told him to do so OR a potential and weak competitor who fears I'm a threat to his own secret intention for the same girl? You're being obtuse! cool

Let me know if you want the Joker's mask. You should do comedy as a part-time job!
On the hand, I think I have spent enough time romancing with you and your so-called brother. Y'all should stop following me up and down. [img][/img]

Hello everyone,

Been following this thread for a while and it has been immensely helpful. I have some few questions though.

For someone who got their F1 visa delayed last year for no clear reason although has the 214B paper issued and is re-applying, what's the best explanation for the "have you been denied" question while filling the DS-160.
Yes. However, the Consular officer did not specifically state the reason for my refusal.
Yes, I was not told the reason for the refusal.
Yes, the consular may have refused my visa application because I could not convince him/her that I'm a credible student.

These are just sample. What do you think might have caused your refusal during the interview? Think about it, and craft a short 1 or 2 sentences in the box available for answer. Your response will NOT be used against you during the next interview.

But prepare for your next interview, whether it will be next month, in December or next year. Look at the responses you gave during the interview and see how to strengthen them for a positive outcome next time.
Best of luck.

My guy i'm not hungry for friendship, i've gotten more than enough both home and abroad. Rozz chose me not the other way round, she did everything manly possible to get at me, told me some things about herself and i feel there is nothing attached to it, the young lady just want to know more about life so i concluded in my mind to become her friend on social media.
So please we talk here about so many things but when it comes to FAITH JWs will not hesitate to tell you our stand.
Once again you're welcome as a friend and well meaning neighbour but not as my brother! That was the only thing that led to all these, i was comfortable with the way you introduced yourself but as my brother, naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that belongs to only JWs.
That's why i never for once refer to Rozz as my sister because she's not JW! smiley
It will be better if we don't talk again or discuss anything. I've seen history of your abuse on people on this forum and your lack of ability to hold constructive discussion without "Yabbing people" you don't know (it seems you're a professional in this field) if they are older and in higher position than you. You're very rude and uncultured to people.

Please muster your courage and the remainder of your self-worth to avoid me. I believe you can do that!
Please don't mention me again here or anywhere you see "fairheart." I don't have time to have anything to do with you. If you're in Nigeria and wants education in the US, I can tell you what you need to do, anything else with you, I'm not interested.

If JWs don't play you won't be saying so many good things about us.
Everything you typed in the other thread totally differs from the experience Rozz had with JWs. In fact it's on Nairaland that she started referring to me as her sugar daddy when people began suspecting the cordiality some even accused me of having secret affairs with her.
But before all that i've made myself clear to her that only JWs are worshipers of our God.
So don't be offended my friend, we can do so many other things together, it's only the sacred aspect that we'll have to part ways! smiley
Your reputation and the opportunity to influence and win a friend in every situation goes hand in hand. I didn't see the attached picture before I said what I said. There are ways we should not talk on a social media if we want people to take us for who we are. Look at the attached picture, did you actually feel comfortable typing and using these words on someone?
I've said I'm not offended; I think your friend, Rozz, is kindhearted. She's still the reason I'm responding to you, because I see you guys are friends.
Give me example of one of the many other things we can do together? If it align with my interest, consider me won over.

I hear you sir, he must be a smooth talker, and also best at his games sha.lol
I will also leave a few comments here for you. I am not a smooth talker, or I would have pelted you with pleasantries everywhere I see your comment when I read your profile. Have you asked yourself why I'd smooth talked you? This is social media, people meet people and they talk, they leave their impression and move on. I have met several beautiful and intellectual-stimulating young women on and out of Nairaland, in Nigeria and abroad. I am not a womanizer, and I do not support any man that's into such Maximus69.

The lady you read me mention in my comment the other day was my first love, not one of the many I did not have. The judgemental views of you guys stinks, especially because you don't have prove and know me. Talks like this is expected from gossipers who knows who they gossip about. None of you know me.

So, there's no need to smooth talk you. I read your comment on a thread and it appealed to my views, which is what drawn me to your profile. And from there, I see you have opened several other threads. I was just curious if you are a writer and then engage you about some of the things you've written. Go back to my first mention of you where I left a comment and then ask you if I can DM you. And I remember sending a DM either before I left my first comment or immediately after.

I neither knew you're not a JW or nor noticed the thread is for JW before I left that comment. Of course, the picture on your profile would attract any single man, give that it was showing half of your face, sparking curiosity. But truth be told, I assume it takes someone with ability to write well to have opened so many thread on Nairaland, and I was just curious. If I knew I'd be have conversation with unlearned JW members who cannot construct in words the fundamental belief of their sect, I'd never have commented at all.

I just wanted to leave a comment on the subject of TRINITY, and didn't know it'd become a cause for insult and accusation from some people. I have never been interested in casting JW as a bad sec, and I will never do. Their teachings are sound, but most of their members still need to read and research on the truth, especially on the issue of who go to the Kingdom of God and not.

Rozz:
He was sounding like a freethinker that's why I asked which church he attends
I will also say a few thing here. The whole discussion got uninteresting when a commenter told me I am not their brothers and that I will not enter the Kingdom of God except I am JW member. I was starting to lose my interest when I saw that comment, because it is AGAINST what is written in the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures and as stated on JW website. Then the following comment numb my interest altogether: another commenter, a JW, said certainly, not all members of JW will enter the Kingdom of God, but other Christians will not enter if they are not MEMBER of JW.

I understand you're trying to be nice to your JW friends, but you should be strong enough to tell them the truth. Rozz, you know yourself that the views they have about other Christians not entering the Kingdom of God is heretical, but you're pandering them, to keep the conversation going.
In the Bible, Jesus accused the pharisee of the same view these Amateur JWs on here share (Matteh 23:13): “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in."

It is wrong for any Christian to tell other Christian they will not enter the Kingdom of God except they become a JW. Another guy posted a cropped picture from JW site, which says those who are not JW will certainly enter the Kingdom of God. The was not written by other church, by JW leadership itself, based on the truth in the Bible.

I will also make you understand something about self-education: Education gives us the ability to engage in free thinking. The more enlightened you become, the wider your experience, the more mental freedom you will enjoy. What sounds like free thinking to you is actually ability to express myself. It other words, Self-expression: The ability to express your thoughts and views in a clear and concise way, so that others can understand you.

My religious view is balanced. I believe in One God, I believe humanity cannot redeem itself, I believe God is pleased when we obey His Laws, and I believe the Kingdom of God is for those who struggle consciously to do God's Will. I also believe the Bible is God's words, and it admonish people to come close to God, do the right thing and accept the plan of Salvation through Christ--God's incarnated words. This is the entire Christianity summed up. There's nothing else to it. And so, i don't want to believe that I have to hate a Muslim, or others to prove I am a Christian. I will never worship other gods, and it is a responsibility for me to go after the right thing, even though it may be hard.

The entire Bible admonish us to LOVE. If you want to love people, you must guard your heart and mind against heretical teachings that systematically make you hate other people. Free thinking is freedom of mind; it is a sign of Enlightenment and exposure. And I am glad you see that in the way I put my words.

As for the Church I go, it is a small Pentecostal Church (with about 150 members; it is not a big or popular Church), and I am a part-time youth leader there. My role is much like engaging young people through seminar, leading interactive sections, and sharing with people outside the essence of education and how to tackle life's difficult problems.

I don't always go; In some occasions, I go my invitation or when we have a seminar. I chose not to say anything because the judgement line was already draw by the JW keyboard warrior on your thread; What is the point of tell them or you the Church I go when they have already concluded that except I join JW and come to the Kingdom Hall, I will not enter the Kingdom of God--as if this MEMBERSHIP IS the criteria and anything else doesn't matter? You keep pampering them in their lies, and so you're very comfortable with anything they say even when the New World Translation Bible did not say so.

Conclusively, I chose not to respond to all the mention because your JW friends did not approach me as adult JW members I have discussed it would do. Their words, and the way they talk were too immature for my level, so it would be waste of time. You can see the other guy who dropped the cropped image did not stay. In the academic circle, a man of high knowledge must not stoop, or else he'll never been taken serious by his contemporary in the circle. I have over 150 followers on Nairaland. There's a reason they are that much!
I will not write a letter on this thread again. Thank you!

The fairheart boy is not interested in the discussion, all he wants is you!
He tried to be smart because you seems to be in tune with JWs, so to play the the good guy he presented himself as a friend of all so that you can have private conversation with him through DM.

I didn't want to intercept his moves but just to alert him that i'm smarter than that childish move, if he wants Rose he can do that on another level.

I've seen several other threads of yours where that could be done not here where a serious discussion is on!

That's why he became bitter and offended, whenever you say "what Church do you attend?" wink
It is my principle that I do not remain silent in the presence of evil. And that's why I'll reply to you once, and for all.
It's evil of you to say I became bitter and offended. Throughout the entire discussion, there was no time I was angry, offended, or held anything against any of you. I remained engaged, and tried as much as I could to answer your question except for which church I go.

I have seen several my mentions by you, how you said I chose to be fair to seek your acceptance, or picking "fairheart", etc. The way you write and the words you put up here since I left the first comment says a lot about you than who I am. It is obvious you're amateur JW, and still need to do a lot of reading, but not merely that, refrain from thinking you're better than others.

God has been so kind to me intellectually that I will not stoop and drag myself in the mud you are right now. Your opinion doesn't matter to me, but when you feel comfortable saying bad things about other on a faceless forum like this, it shows how untrained, mis-educated, and religious you are. I am not a religious person; I am a spiritual person. I am sure you know the two ain't the same. Religious people are holy in their eyes, i.e the pharisees: they see others as unworthy, couldn't welcome others in their midst, believed they held the key to the Kingdom of God, imposed their religious view, and so on. YOU, not JW as organization, is religious (I needed to point this out for I see you are a picky reader; you pick words instead of doing objective reading).

Spiritual people don't judge, they accept all--which is why I have and I will give any JW opportunity to talk with me. I am not a bitter person at all. I have received far too much education and social training than that. So, I will not stoop and come down to your level to antagonize you. Get more education and talk to elders to teach you how to do constructive discussion and I will be happy to engage you again.

Please o, maybe there is something I don't understand, who is applying for H1B between now and January? Maybe the other categories will be affected but I doubt it will have any impact.

Most H1B jobs can not be performed by Americans, do you guys think any American company would choose an Indian with a heavy accent over a citizen? The me me me old fool has once again given companies another reason the move more jobs abroad.

The US is not a country, it is a business. COVID19 has taught us that working from home is both effective and efficient. Companies will not allow their talent needs to be jeopardized by selfish interest, expect more jobs to move to India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, etc.

iwriterng:
Our argument does not influence anything, but I’m not sure you get the idea when people say the restriction will harm the country’s economy in the long run.

The sectors that hire H1b the most are not laying people off right now. As a matter of fact, the systems (technology) that America economy has fallen back on in the last couple of months as a result of lockdown were built by companies that are currently run by people that were either on H1b or still on H1b. Think about Amazon, Google, Facebook, Netflix, Uber, etc.

When you read about millions of people losing their job, these are jobs that people on H1b will never get.

Nobody on H1b would be allowed to work as a waiter or store attendant. Maybe J1, which further reduces the impact of the restriction to a negligible number.

But in the end, our opinion does not matter; if Nigeria was half as good as America, we most probably won’t be having this conversation.
Sure, I get your point. Talking about it doesn't change anything. The whole conversation about it is just for the sake of having discussion because, somehow, some people here will need H1B in the future. I know there's economic disadvantage to the ban. I have taken short courses on policy-making. Politics is very mad. Policies, in every political arena, are like two edge-sword, it will hurt some people and soothe others--even if there is a potential damage to the American economy in the future. As there are Americans who are against the Mexican border wall, there are Americans who want it erected. It is always like that.

As we talk, there are Americans who love the temporary ban on H1B (This is similar to a situation in Nigeria when some Nigerians ganged up against Indians and British leaders at a Distillery in Ogun State, even though they know Nigerians who may take over may not be able to perform well. Today, all the Ogas for the company na Nigerians).
And you know politicians, they want to make political scores when election is coming. At the end of the day, they will live with it whatever consequences ensue. It is their country. There's nothing we can do about it.

Friedpotato:
H1B jobs till the end of this year is about 250,000. So far Americans have lost 30 million jobs. So how is this number significant if not for his unnecessary propaganda.

The 250,000 figure is calculated with the total number of jobs taken in 2019 by H1B divided by 2. But this year won't even be up to 250,000 Because employers would want to prioritize US citizens.

So I really don't see the economic and patriotic importance of this rule.
You can't see it because you're not a politician and one of those advising Trump, but I can tell you the President and his team have their reasons this decision was made. Even if it is 100K jobs, it is something to politicians. It matters to them when earning public trust and playing politics determines their political future.
That is how I see it.

I remember when I posted this and was severely criticised. Did I imply prospective Nigerian students shouldn't target or apply to institutions in the US? No. Knowing fully well that most of us use this education route to permanently emigrate from Nigeria, I suggested that students should have it at the back of their mind to research about alternative countries where they can use their degrees from institutions in the US to emigrate to and get the passport (which honestly is the end game for most people here). Yes, get get admitted into Cornell, Georgia Tech, Purdue etc. but use that qualification and work in alternative countries where the immigration policies are favourable. Should this Trump guy win this November (his prospects are declining though), e go horror for immigrants. Indians who are very influential in the US are severely affected by this new policy yet he went ahead. Let alone for Nigerians - the largest contingent of black Africans studying/working in the US - who are already banned from getting permanent residency.

No be say na bad advice I dey give except you intend returning to join Buhari and El-Rufai in making Nigeria great again.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-53145317
Living in another man's country has always come with its uncertainties. There's nothing new. At a point, the UK launched a campaign against Nigerian Immigrants and other major Africans there, pushing them to go back home. I know at least 2 Nigerians that had to ship and sell their stuffs and leave the UK (I even bought some stuffs low price from them grin), but of course, Nigerians no dey carry last smiley. Those who wanted to stay no even count the campaign as anything.
Some day, Germany and some other EU countries with sizeable population of Africans may follow. This is one of the banes of living abroad and not having the documentation to work and live as native of those countries.

Things will certainly improve--whether Trump wins or not. No need to panic, but having a plan B as you stated is important, but not easy to come up with. So many Africans are migrating, EU is tightening its Tourist visa rules, with Nigeria on top of the list (a recent decision).

But unfortunately, Nigeria has been eaten to the bone to make things work for earnest Nigerians. It is well smiley

Well, he has reasons. I'll not blame or condemn him for taking this direction for the American people, especially during this period that unemployment rate is at 13.3-- and his first term coming to an end. He's seeking to use all options on the table to lower the unemployment rate and remove competition from foreign skilled workers against home-based Americans ahead and after election, in case he's re-elected.
But I also understand that it's a political stunt to make himself look better in the American people's eyes, so he can get re-elected. Not sure if it'll work.
More so, it is not a permanent ban. I am sure it will be lifted at some point in the future.

Unity shouldn't be evaluated based on talks my dear, it goes far beyond mere talks!
Unity is when two or three work together to ensure that LOVE, JOY and PEACE works in their midst!
As long as there is disputes leading to fights and killings, then there is no UNITY!
I've been in Islam from childhood and i can tell you that there is nothing like unity in Islam, after the death of Muhammad war broke out amongst his disciples over who will succeed Muhammad, this led to a great genocide as the clans of each of his generals fight dirty in support their own sheikh.
After so much killings the generals agreed on a treaty which is what is known till today as the five pillars of Islam, yet each general still maintained their conflicting ideologies. So it's the five pillars that may confuse an outsider but to insiders in Islam we know there is nothing like UNITY! smiley

Satan surely succeeded in establishing so many religions claiming Christians but the TRUTH remains that Jesus' group is just one and in their midst LOVE, JOY and PEACE reigns! John 17:21-23 smiley
How do you determine those who are Jesus group? Which yardstick do you use to determine it? the sect? their way of life? evangelism? ideologies? What did you use to determine Jesus group?

Maximus69: No JW will tell you that you're safe if you're not one of Jehovah's Witnesses

Achorladey: I am wondering who are the MANY who WEREN'T JWs in the picture below that will have the opportunity to be saved.

And since many in times past that are NOT JWs will be saved and considering the KIND of God you serve, Will God change this standard this time and SAVE Jehovah's witnesses ONLY? grin grin grin

God bless you my brother. This is a powerful angle to defend the truth from. Didn't even reason from this angle. Learnt something from this.

The interesting thing about all this the ORGANIZATION itself stated this in their FREQUENTLY asked questions.... then you see ADHERENT still finding it difficult to process it because what is PUT OUT is different from what is TAUGHT within. All from the same SOURCE.

From the material below the ORGANIZATION states SALVATION and JUDGEMENT rest SQUARELY in the hands of JESUS. Yet the same ORGANIZATION still tell you all other RELIGIONS are FALSE WORSHIPPERS.

Thank you guys, it's nice spending time on your thread!
But don't forget:
THERE ARE OTHER CHRISTIANS WHO ARE NOT JWs THAT WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
WE ARE NOT THE ONE THAT WILL CHOOSE WHO WILL ENTER OR NOT, GOD WILL!

God bless you all.

I've told Rozz this same thing over and over and over Sir!
So she already know the stand of all JWs globally!

The question you need to ask in a humble way is WHY DO ALL JWs BELIEVE THIS?
Then listen to the reason and perhaps you can refute the point with the scriptures! smiley
You have managed to turn around an evident Bible passage. You have concluded already that except a person is a JW member, they will not enter the Kingdom of God. This is contrary to what is written in the Bible, so why should I even spend more time asking you a question you cannot answer due to your heretical belief and limited knowledge of the truth?
No! I am done. Do better by reading more Bible, but think about the things you read, and ask questions. Except you question everything you are taught, your knowledge is not really your own but of the person who taught you. And what if the person who taught you is erroneous? You have heretical belief. That is how gaining deep knowledge in any circle, religion, profession, etc, works.
Thank you for your time.

We really appreciate your supporting speech for JWs Sir, but the fact remains that if you're not one of JWs you can't be a worshiper of our own God.
There are many factors to consider but that is the number 1 criteria to enter the kingdom of our God Sir!
What you're saying is exactly what all other religions claiming Christians do teach, but for our own God, if you're not one of JWs you can't possibly be a worshiper of our own God! smiley
shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked
You must be amateur JW member. Your God, not my God? Is there another type of Jehovah? grin When did JW membership becomes a criteria to worshiping God?
I expect you to know better if you're truly a Bible student of JW.
I think I have spent enough time discussing this with you guys.
You all have a great day.
