Finally caught up to the end of the thread after a busy start to the year.
I was glad that the subject of green light when approaching women was discussed, because I am a firm believer in "no green lights, no approach" principle.
I will be sharing my experience with two ladies.

So the first lady, I met her in church, we do talk after church, but nothing more than that, later she requested for my number, after she got it, she started calling me, she starts chats everyday, she double texts, if i ignore her messages twice, she calls me on phone again, all the while she never complains about me ignoring her messages. Like i get away with everything, she has never called me out for any "wrong" doings, and i have done quite a few
When we meet physically, she is too clingy, and green lights are too obvious. I found out that due to her being too available, i lost interest in her (or should i say i didn't develop it) I know that no matter how a lady likes you, she should at least complain if you snub her or ignore her, but she doesn't. Like she sent me new year greetings message, I read it but didn't reply till 11th, and she didn't say anything about that, next thing she's asking is "when am i going to see you?". I felt like that level of clingyness is a bad sign sha

The second lady, She's interested in me but her signals were not as pronounced as the other lady, it took me quite sometime to take note of her, cause she was subtle and shy (plus I snub ladies alot, just greetings and I'm out), but recently I was thinking that something is off about her when she is around me, so i decided to be more observant, and her greenlights became clearer. Last week, I wrote my number on a paper, and told her to call me, she did call me that same evening, and we started talking since then, it became clear that she likes me but she was waiting for me to pick up on the signals and act on it.

Points to note:
- Greenlights makes everything easy for you, it's like you win before you even start the race.
- Be on the lookout for greenlights, believe me, it's more common than you think, if you only attract low value girls, then it is a reflection of your true SMV, and suggests that you need to level up.
- Simps think that if they flood a girl with "love" and attention, she will reciprocate, but that's opposite of the case. I think the same thing played out with the first girl, her greenlights were so much that it became a turn off.
- I thought, if i get a girl that loves me as much as the first lady, I will like it, but i found out that I don't. Plus i have had experience with clingy ladies, it doesn't end well.

Again, we make money by making friends. Change your circle of friends and be intentional with the people you are associating with. Ask them what money making opporturnities or investment opportunities are out there to make them money.

That way, you see people sharing some interesting business conversation with you. Then, like many others have suggested, you throw away every form of procrastination of some sorts.

Mking money is not a rocket science. You just have to create value...to the people who can afford to pay for it without complaining that your service is too high.

Fixed income Fund is good for those who can monitor interest rates, stock market performance etc.

Another reason some of us buy Fixed income Fund is because of reinvestment risk, it is not every time that we have the opportunity to buy Fixed income Fund in the primary, therefore we invest part of our regular coupons and dividends in Fixed income Funds.

The bond market give a better forecast of the direction of a country economy, while the stock market is a reflection of the country's economy.


Fixed income Fund is not bad for a conservative Investor who is concerned about the safety of his fund and long term appreciation of his fund. A N10 million Investment in United Capital fixed income fund in 2011 has grown to over N30 million in 2021 without adding a kobo to the investment.

I went back to read the threads from years ago and it's remarkable how much we went through and how much we've forgotten. Reminds me of the importance of writing things down. Will try in the coming year to write even more not for anyone else but for my future self.

What a sorry sight....2021 is a year filled with lots of bitterness in the retail sector.

First, it was Ebeano Supermarket, now its Next Cash "n" Carry.

I remembered how Next Management reacted when Ebeano went up in flames, unbeknownst to them that sooner or later the odeal would come to them.

My heartfelt condolences to all those who are directly or indirectly connected to the business. I can imagine how many livelihood that have been diatorted, how many jobs that been lost, the money, the goods, creditors.

Proper Investigation should also be conducted, to ensure stuff like this dont happen again. We cant continue this way. We cry that here in Nigeria, we dont have enough Enterprise with global competitive standared. Why lose the littl we have?

I dont know the root cause of all this mess, but adequate care should be taken.

My story?!

That's very pathetic one. I am even ashamed to talk about how it all happened. Not too long anyway. I went for our city bookclub end of the year party and we ended up with more exotic drinks than we had imagined.

On a normal, I am not really into drinking heavy alchohol, but being that I found myself with a carton of Jameson black all to myself, I took one all to myself and gulped directly from the bottle.

With 35cl dawned with careless abandon, I lost control of all of my senses and ended up waking up at the hotel lobby the following day. How it all happened, I cant tell. But I have vowed never to engage that beast of a spirit again, or anytime soon.

I can relate a little to the story you shared, back in my hunting days, there was a church close to our house.

The guys (friends) that were going to night programs used to talk about a particular girl, Nkechi that almost all of them were asking out. She was damn beautiful. Nkechi was the reason I started attending the night programs because dating her was like I challenge.

Long story short. I ignored her like she never existed. After prayers, guys would hang around waiting for her to come out but I will head home straight. She initiated our first conversation and the rest was history.

Now this worked because she sees me often but what if it's someone you see once in a while. There was a time in my hunting days when I went somewhere to buy something, we were four and I saw one very fine girl.
