hi Carpenter

Will you be able to knock the pieces of experience together? It will need ur expertise to accomplish that.

If this guys has been in one job for 4 years, it is a different thing all together.
CareerRe: Masters Degree Or Work Experience To Work In Nigeria by faketan(m): 3:29pm On Dec 18, 2007
Ndubest, yea paper certificate in nigeria is nothing but paper cert from UK means a lot cos they make feel what is out there. They have productivity oriented education. Do not forget the Masters guy also has two years of work experience not just a green.
CareerRe: Masters Degree Or Work Experience To Work In Nigeria by faketan(m): 3:25pm On Dec 18, 2007
Can you explain a bit more about the length of contract difference.

Cos that brings to bear on the quality and type of coy me think.
CareerRe: Masters Degree Or Work Experience To Work In Nigeria by faketan(m): 3:09pm On Dec 18, 2007
No 2 guy spent 4 years in 5 jobs. This means he spent less than a year on each Job. No 1 guy spent an average of 1 year per job. A lot of things will be considered here. The 4 year work experience guy may probably not be able to hold down a job. Not many employers want such people.

Again his number of years of experience will only add up if he worked for the same kind of company or related company.

So if I am an employer, I will go for the candidate A. He has two years experience with an advance degree from the UK. With an average ability, he will make up for the 3 years in a year.

I do not have expectation. Whatever comes out it I will see it.

What I still do not understand is why Anichebe was not called up. That guy is a fighter. English commentators call him the super sub in Everton.
He delivers when it matters most.

Guys sorry I have been very busy.
@Dot2002

Thank you MB student. very Sure u are doing well in your genetics classes. Prepare for you 2nd MB very well ok. Who knows how many times you sat for JAMB before u got this admission. Good luck sha.

Kobo what I have in mind now is like a mustard seed or rather a snowball. If it rolled, with the right environment it will generate brothers and sisters.

I believe that one of the things the nation needs now is the orientation of the masses. About 90% of nigerians either do not care about how they are governed or do believe that the best way to wealth is corruption. The first group just face the individual bussinesses not knowing that who is above affect the business in avery significant way.

We can change the mind of nigerians.

Someone will tell me it is not possible if the economy does not improve, but I am very sure that changing their views about the govt will help the economy improve.
If we stop worshing this people with ill gotten wealth and shift our respect to integrity; if we can hold the leaders accountable to the public, a lot of thing will change.

Now this is a project and a long term project. There is no plan yet. I just want the stakeholders to show interest and we can start from there. But if we see it as too big a task to acheive, we will never get there.

Do not wait for the politicians to do this, we can do it friends.

If you are not serious pls make u just waka pass.

PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Invites Britain To Reorganise Nigerian Police by faketan(m): 11:33pm On Nov 27, 2007
It amazes me the way we and our leaders subject ourselves to this people that pay lip services to our problem. Nobody can sort out our problem unless we do. We have efficient police force but we do not have motivated and equiped police force. Motivate them and equip them. Then remove corruption from above you will see them perform wonders. Most of the murder mysteries in OBJ's rejimes were solved but because the orders were from above, they were never made public. Let them stop deceiving the poor masses. God will deliver us.

Is it not the same police force that were recommneded by the UN for the work they did in Sierra Leone that we are looking for british police, this racist infested force to come and reorganise.

We always have the feeling that we cannot do it right. Tooo bbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

@Kobojunkie

Not here for the sake of attention or whatever you may call. Dude I am a serious human being and it pains me so much when I know we are so blessed but we produce a little. We keep relying on the west to save us when the west is not willing to do so.

But I cannot say anything unless I get right caliber of Nigerians. The likes of Dora Those who can stand their grounds in the face of corruption. Those who still have some reserves in there integrity pouch.
Not here for rhetorics. I Know that it takes a few minds to make a difference I know we can do it. Come on board if u think u belong to this group of people.

If you are fraudulent without regard to the sufferings of your fellow humans then SHAME on you! don't come here and generalize to satisfy your guilt. Fraud isn't 'making it'. Any honest hardworking person would be irritated by the activities of corrupt leaders

There are many Nigerians that WILL NOT steal public funds. The rogues have impoverished their people and travel to live in countries where Honesty has built to enjoy their loot.

My shame list would include

1. ODILI- All the billions allocated to RV state, just 3 failed gas turbines, numerous traffic lights, resurfacing ABA rd ( over 4 times) with other roads still bad, close down PH airport so that his private plane can have sole rights to fly into PH and charge whatever they like ( he built a new airport for his plane alone ), No help for rural communities in the state and lastly turned RV state into a gang haven where kidnapping, looting, intimidation and theft was the order of the day.

2. OTHER SOUTH SOUTH GOVERNORS - were almost as bad as Odili but failed to steal as much.

3. THE MIDFIELD MAESTRO - introduced SAP to kill the middle class and taught Nigerians the irritating 'chop i chop'. He basically landed the final blow that brought Nigeria to its knees.

4. THE UGLY - Decided to play God and determine how Nigeria goes along. I wish he choked on his saliva anytime he clears his throat!

5. PAST AND PRESENT LEGISLATORS - decided that the reason they were elected was to fight over allocation and exchange 'ghana must go' bags

We are already grown up. That is why we can talk about this. Whoever is supporting this way fo getting rich may not be far from being like them.

But you only need to understand that the Niger Delta problem is man made, that our Universities were better before now, that we have enough money to make every Nigerian proud of where he is from before u before u will appreciate the enormity of their sins.
