Amumaigwe:Concentrating on the bolded. It will take an ill -brain lady to insist on marrying a man who treats her like animals on the daily basis in the courtship. What the south east has enjoy under the pdp in last 20 years shows they don't have any ideology in their resolve - it's pure political blindness. If all the effort put forward to back pdp have been used for apga, apga will be formidable today. Twice, buhari fielded Igbos as his running mate and twice they turned him down to back anither candidates who didn't even bother about them. I mean treated them like trash-do you know how many Senate Presidents served under obj? Five! All of them from Igboland. No other tribe can be so treated with disdain like that - not even Igallas. PMB picks southwestern person, tunde bakare and later Osinbajo and they are saying they are voting Atiku because he picked Obi. Can you tell me that Obi has the political clout of okadigbo who ran with buhari? Obi, if Atiku has won, would have become a political pawn compared to chuba okadigbo. They are just bitter and "miscalculative" . All these TWENTY YEARS SUPPORT, they remain the ONLY tribe who can't point at infrastructures blessings. South South has loosen up, they still carry gej loss on their head! Gej that is somewhat instrumental to the emergence of an apc senator in Balyesa! Now check again ANYWHERE, adamawa people have tried to put this election behind them, my Igbo people still carry it for head like firewood... |

kahal29:Dead on arrival! You play profitable politics. If you like put all the Igbo senators from all parties into the highest positions, it would be a labor loss. Igbos are bitter beings, vindictive and politically blind and senseless. Carry all budget and finance projects in the East, that would not move them to APC. if you are in doubt, let them tell you their gain of being with pdp in 20 years. Nothing! Senate presidency is going to the north East or south South. The ranking senator will be our DSP QED |

Rivers guber election: Your time is up, even INEC can’t save you – Princewill tells Wike John Owen Nwachukwu John Owen Nwachukwu 1 min ago A frontline chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Prince TJT Princewill, has said that not even the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, can save the state Governor, Nyesom Wike. Wike is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. The APC chieftain was reacting to the suspension of electoral process in Rivers State as contained in a press release signed by Festus Okeye Esq. the National Commission and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee. In a press release he forwarded to DAILY POST on Monday, Princewill faulted INEC’s decision to suspend election in Rivers State, saying, “INEC’s decision is illegal because it is not supported by law. “Section 26 of the Electoral Act cited in the INEC Press Release is not even applicable because that section deals with a situation where a date has been appointed for the holding of an election, and there is reason to believe that a serious breach of the peace is likely to occur if the election is proceeded with on that date or it is impossible to conduct the election as a result of natural disasters or other emergencies, then the commission may postpone the election. “You can see that this provision does not apply to a situation where an election has already been conducted or held, which is the present position in Rivers State. “Since the elections in Rivers State have been held Saturday, INEC is bound by virtue of section 27 of the Electoral Act to announce the results. “Having admitted in paragraph one of the Press Release that it has conducted elections on the 9th of March in Rivers State, INEC must by virtue of section 27 of the Electoral Act, announce the results. “INEC’s decision to postpone the already held elections is ultra vires, illegal and unconstitutional. Such an unlawful decision can now be challenged in court by virtue of section 26 subsection 5 of the Electoral Act. “The challenge can be launched by any of the many contestants at a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction and on such a legal challenge, the decision of INEC shall also be suspended until the matter is determined. “Our concerns about INEC and our lack of faith in the REC are continually validated. This was same way they suspended a by-election we held a few months ago when it was clear we were winning. “Now, the AAC candidate and several house of assembly candidates supported by APC are cruising to victory and they do it again. “Can they not just step out of the way and let the will of Rivers’ people prevail? Rivers state was largely peaceful. Why not deal with areas where you say you have violence and leave the other results to go through? “It’s common sense. Why suspend a whole state? Wike will go. It’s only a matter of time. We always knew this. Now the world knows it too. Not even INEC can save him.” https://www.google.com/amp/dailypost.ng/2019/03/11/rivers-guber-election-time-even-inec-cant-save-princewill-tells-wike/amp/ |

Nigeriabiafra80:SANELY just got another meaning with the way politics is played in the East. In the last TWENTY YEARS with the pdp, the zone has performed incomparably well over the other regions. The infrastructures in the East are the best. East has become the investment destination of choice. IGR there is second to none. When you reach 50 years of following failure, Una eyes go clear. The dumbest and blindest South East, politically! |

"I AM A PRODUCT OF INSULTS" -BOLA TINUBU "Some people get easily angry whenever they see me being insulted.I think that is childish. I'm a politician and it is my right to be insulted. It is my right to be called names, it is my right to get bad wishes from whoever I outrun in the polity. Politics, sometimes, is a bully game, don't get distracted, keep your eyes on the ball. It is a game of number but equally important, a game of common sense with sole aim of improving people's lives with right policies. Mohammed Ali was a great boxer, he punched you once, he ran away, he made you angry so much that you lose your focus and balance, then he would hit you hard.. Those who must beat him must never be angry or lose focus while fighting, keep your strategy to yourself....win some, lose some, that's politics but you must strive to win all but you can never win all..... "As for insults and abuse, I have received uncountable insults since I joined politics. You can see where I am today politically. I'm a product of insults, left right and centre, that's my food and medicine. - Bola Ahmed Tinubu (former Senator and Lagos State Governor)

kahal29:CONSIDER THIS : When Dankwambo a sitting Governor could not get his Senate bid. Ajimobi a sitting Governor couldn't win his Senate bid. Saraki a sitting senator(Senate President) with the backing of his governor lost his return to Senate. Uduaghan also lost his bid. But Dino without the backing of his Governor and the FG retained his seat. Dogara too without the backing of the Governor and the FG retained his seat. Meanwhile, Buhari was thrashed in the SE, Osinbajo lost his PU. And you still believe this election was rigged. I think you should check urself again. Free, Fair and credible election Congratulations Professor Mahmood Yakubu for giving us one of the best elections in Nigeria. |
