Curiouscity: I know it is possible, especially in our beloved country where crime is glorified and criminals honoured. But, whatever I intend to do will have the backing of the law, LGA where it is situated. The facilities I hope to install there will make it more attractive such that the people will help protect it.
Nothing is impossible except you never try!! .. I support u. The law shud be on ur side and security shud also be available. |

kelvin96: Yes it has tylosin, but with some vitamins that is compatible with each other. If i decides to give tylosin on its own accompany with any vitamins to my laying birds, how do i tell the mixing ratio between the two? or will i just take some amount of the vitamin and add to the tylosin? for me(My own view) i think it is a gamble. when your birds are at their peak and you gamble with them, the result might not be good. But for embaceryl , it has been well prepared for the that purpose. So i prefer using embaceryl than mixing tylosin with vitamins on laying birds.....Or i might risk using anitylodox (Anidoxityle) .. I understand ur view. For me, I simply follow the dosage instruction for both the tylodox and multivit, and I use multivits that contains amino acids, eg aminototal. |
Agriculture › Re: Starting A Poultry Farm (a Blog) by FarmTech(mod): 10:12pm On May 21, 2015 |
kelvin96: Hmmm.....Good to hear it worked for you, bro I read that same article before i treated mine three years back, and i regretted doing it... i cant try it on my laying birds again. I did it once, twice and it wrecked my production. I only use tylosin few weeks to POl. And if i happen to come across CRD in my laying flock i just use embacerly. .. But I thought Embaceryl contains tylosin? It also contains vitamins. When giving any antibiotic, I always combine them with a multivit, if not there will be a drop in production or growth. |

Agriculture › Re: Starting A Poultry Farm (a Blog) by FarmTech(mod): 1:09pm On May 21, 2015 |
kelvin96: yes definately it will take care of the crd....if d birds are laying, it will crash the production, and it will take a very long time before they can bounce back, that is if they ve not gone far in their laying circle . And for pol, it delays them from laying on time. .. My last batch of birds were prone to crd and to prevent frequent illness, I have to give tylodox every month. And I did not record any drop or ceasation of egg production. Even u can mix it in feed (@ preventive dose) to prevent crd as shown here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/471896/. The drug that shud not be given to layers are sulfa-based drugs. |

You see why muslims will continue to rule. They call Jona an infidel in their mosques and we're afraid to campaign in the church. Is it not the rulers that will determine the fate of the church to some extent? Checkout all the countries muslims have hold on. They establish sharia law, in other words, their religion and politics go hand in hand. That's why other religion can never dominate there. But Christians are too blind to see the strategy. That is why America and other christian countries will legalize homo and lesbi - bc they kept Christianity away from politics. Who knows the fate of Nigeria? Will muslims take over africa in yrs to come? |

obnelly: All, how do we prevent the growth of algae inside our water lines.I mean the nipples. It reduces the pressure in the nipple thereby reducing the amount of water consumption by the chicken. Chicken stress themselves to get water by pecking the nipple severally . Disease infestation from water likely possible because some amount of algae can be consumed by the chickens. Pls any solution to this problem will be highly appreciated. .. Add an organic acid like citric acid to their water. |

kelvin96: You really dont have to wait for them to fall down before treating them. if i were you i will use tylosin or tylodox for them when they are 10-12 weeks ...Please dont use tylosin for laying birds or for POL birds .. Why do you say that? I used it for mine to treat crd and that's what lab result recommended. |
