Sell as soon as possible. Contact people that buy in small qty - tea makers, street shops. Tea makers will likely buy off the small-size eggs. I don't know exactly how long they can last, but store them in a cool and dry place. They spoil faster under high temperature.

Any vaccine will be effective if you follow instructions. So far, it is working since we have had no case of coccidiosis, unlike in the past batch.

Thanks Bro. My birds are recovering slowly but surely. Production droped from 84% to 49%, but to the glory of God they are now @ 71%. Thanks to all for ur contributions. As advised surely the VITAMINS WORKED, but on a LIGHTER NOTE nobody warned me against PROLAPSE...bros I hv culled like 25birds with BLOODY VENTS. Also, the eggs are now coming out bigger than before.

It's really hard to tell without a lab test. And I don't have access to where I wrote down such info now. How are your birds doing now?

Your seed not germinating might be due to something attacking it underground. About fruit flies, can they really attack maize?

That symptom can be caused by a lot of diseases. Treating diseases base on symptoms alone is try and luck. If you have small number of birds, you may succeed with it but with large number of birds, u can't afford to spend money on expensive drugs only to find out they're not effective. In that case, going for a lab test is better. You shud also have a vet that knows what he's doing.

We can't manage our power stations and it is nuclear we want to manage? I know what failed nuclear plant have done to some countries, Nigeria's own will be disaster. Pls don't bring it in the SE oo!

Its pretty sad that people tend to judge a person based on his/her behaviour or show of character. @kelvin96 they were treated for ND+IB+EBS @ 18wks .they are now 23wks.2wks ago one died a post mortem was done diagnosed crd and ND so treated wit ciproflaxin nnd anti viral which de just finished dats why am baffled about d paralysis.

I gave tylodox which was effective for my birds according to lab test. Also gave vitamins and I worked on reducing temperature. When they recovered, I vaccinated with lasota and repeat every 4wks due to the heat and bc high temperature is immunosuppressive.

Sorry all 4 d late response i've been a little busy lately.@tabontabon, d pen is 20ft by 50ft, no mortality, i noticed some birds are dull and am giving dem antibiotics now. @kevin, they're abt 700 in number, i've done d first treatment bt i still see some lice on dem, pls d cyperforce is it a pour on? can i use it on d birds too or will i dilute it? @farmtech, my friend mills d feed in his farm, his prodtn is 70-80%. my birds are 26+ weeks and yet nothin 4rm dem though am still hopeful, i've spent a lot of money already on dis.

@eggcellent temporary in d sense dat i find 1 or 2 paralysed in d morn they re quarantine but before the end of the day they re fine -walking reasonable well and eating so i leave them der for a 3 days observation meanwhile the next day i find another one paralysed in the hen house

I had a similar experience with my past batch and i suspected it was caused by heat and newcastle. Hw is the temperature like and when last did u vaccinate?

Only a lab test can give a more accurate answer whether it is mereks or not, and they'll also recommend treatment. If you have big number of birds, find a lab near by or a good vet. Though I think some people don't have access to labs due to distance, in that case vets will help.

The problem is that many churches attract sinners but shy away from telling them the real truth about dressing, choice of music/videos, behavior etc. The behavior have been going on all these while and it is now they are stopping it, as if they didn't see it before. They try sha, but think of other churches that stil allow such so as to retain their members. If the church is a place for the sick/bad, then they should be cured of their sickness. They should hear the undiluted word of God because the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God. Why should we commit abomination every time in churches?

Guy, I met some women this Saturday morning enroute Benin. They were all going to buy corn at emu market in Agbor. Note, they left from Onitsha. I told them abt u n DT u will like to do business with them, they said they are small traders that buy few bags. They advised I talk to the big buyers DT buy n buses and trucks. They can be found in coca cola upper iweka Onitsha.

Well, I have one question to ask. How do you plan to cope with temperature during periods of heat wave? Don't tell me you'll use gen to power fans and still make reasonable profit. In open houses heat is a problem, what will it be like in closed houses?
