Yes, the wetting. But the fungicide application is by foliar spray
.
Wilt diseases are usually soil borne. Foliar sprays can't control them. So I'm wondering if u treated the soil or if the seed is resistant to fusarium wilt and co.

I identify the dogs and make them see the Turkey. If they try to attack, scare them really bad. They will learn. If u have veterinary multivit and antibiotic, give it to him.

The beauty of cuke is that it is a short term crop. So no need to rush. But if u can afford any loss, then go ahead.
AgricultureRe: Foreign Apple Seeds Grown From Seed Progression. by FarmTech(mod): 8:58pm On Sep 27, 2020
Olalekan4646:
Hello Emempaul, sowing apple directly in the soil after taking the fruit, the seed will rot. Apple are temperate fruits, they require some months of stratification to break the dormancy in them, after you getting the seed from the apple, clean well, find a wet napkin towel or tissue paper, wet it and place the seed in a wet napkin and placed inside a disposable plastic and out it inside fridge or freezer, but make sure you don't have out it in the area where things freezes...
Take note, the frigde must be constantly cold for about 6-4 months, then you will see some apple seed germinating themelves, you can go ahead and plant them in a treated soil media, then, but make sure the rest of the seed spend 4 month in the fridge, if they don't sprout yet, you can put all of them on the soil like that, within 2 weeks, they will start germinating.
.
But my own were already germinating in the fruit.

How many months old is that, i guess one month. And how many did you started from seed and what are the numbers that survived to this stage
.
Unfortunately, I can't remember if I wrote down the planting date. will check later. I started with 5. And I think I over watered. The media (previously meant for pawpaw) was treated soil and pig manure. Treated months ago with red force fungicide and Abamectin for nematodes and soil insects.

3 plots for a start is not too risky, especially now we still have rain, but I will point out a few oversights, you will need hire labour for some jobs like planting, you can't possibly plant 3 plots alone, looks like you are the one doing the land preparation, because if a labourer does ridges like that he must be sacked, that double row on the ridges is not a good idea the foliage will come fast and thick and there will be no ventilation, then downy mildrew and powdery will come hard, also your spacing looks too far apart 30-40cm is best, seems you have access to poultry manure but your planting hole looks shallow,a good rainfall will cover the holes and you need that holes for manure application at least 3-4 times application ,because you have poultry farm, also plan to start staking immediately after planting, once the seed is in the ground it is a race between the farmer and the cucumber, the pics below is how we do holes to contain sizeable quantities of manure, also the ridging type, planting and staking pics is for futher illustration .
.
Oga have spoken. But I still think the guy shud start small oo. I wish him the best.

I dont really know about fungicide because am not used to farming. Am jus an animal scientist.
But I love Foreign fruits

And uhmm, they only need this fungicide for the first 3 months or so.. And they are raised inside placed near south west window for uptimum light and shaded sunlight, rain couldn't wash the fungicide away
.
Normally, diseases is problematic when the plant leaves are wet. And take care, fungicides/pesticides are toxic to health.

Leaf miners at work grin. Those miners are so troublesome grin. The real danger leaf miners pose to your tomato plants is the introduction of bacteria or fungi through their cuts, causing the leaves to turn yellow.

What I will do?
Check your plants regularly and cut of affected leaves at the very sight of their activies.

Spray my tomato plants with neem oil (I said neem oil). I try as much as possible to avoid the spray of chemicals.

Lastly, I also make sure I bombard my soil with enough compost, so as to increase organic activities of my soil. This in itself helps encourage beneficiary insects to help keep things in control.
.
How much do u buy neem oil and where?

Which God are u talking about? Surely, not the righteous and holy God of Christians. Attaching God's name to an immoral program is misusing His name and there is punishment for that.

Yeah, am now able to get my hand on Saaf and zebshifungicide, so as to interchange the two so that those fungi dnt develop resistance to one if only one is used
.
Those 2 fungicides have the same content, mancozeb, which is not effective in rainy days because it is a contact fungicide. U shud have bought redforce or others that contains copper and metalaxyl. u can then use it in rotation with saaf. Anyway, u can still manage these ones for now.

How much could I get those fungicide, Saaf and rodomil gold.. Which one works best
.
Saaf is about N1200 for 250g my area. I have not used rodomil gold but another one with the same content. N300 or so for 50g.
.
Both are gud. But it is not good to use only one. U rotate them in turns so that those microbes will not get use to them.

It depends on how much it cost. And I don't think cow dung will affect yield negatively. I've not tried it though.

Good morning!

Poultry one is far better. Cattle dung also contains grass seeds. But if I can get cattle dung for free or at a much cheaper rate, I will go for it.
