Just separate them and give them antibiotic and vitamin. Also rub sth like pennicilin create after scrapping the pox. It's a matter of time and it will vanish.

One problem with humans is that;
We understand half and talk double.

If you actually read my post well i believe my point was clear enough and i always do not bring my emotions into my positions of matters.

I am a man if at all my emotions should tilt on a side it should be in support of the men folks and not the women but when speaking of the injustice of societal bans one's emotions should never be in the deciding factor.

You are free to wear anything you choose to wear, which ever way people react to it is their doing not yours.

A woman's dressing in as much as it can trigger urges in a man doesn't place her the obligation of taking responsibility for man's inability to restrain himself.

We see women everyday dressed in all kinds of way same way we see men everyday dressed same. . That you cannot control the urges that surge within you is not the woman's fault.

That you choose to act on this urge and met out inhumane action of rape on the woman is entirely your fault and your doing.

A woman has the right just like you to wear what she likes and what she feels comfortable in, your reaction to it is your own doing. . . She is under no obligation to dress in a way to sate your urge that you cannot keep it in check is your doing entirely

We are in charge of our actions and choices unless you tell me that a woman's dressing controls your action?

Try and understand before concluding bro!

..
You see the sexual pervasion that reing supreme in western countries today? It's bc they have always seen things the way you do.

This post baffles me a lot. I'm like really? Are you trying to justify indecent dressing ?
How could you put all the blame on the males when you know it's actions that triggers reactions.

So you expected a woman to dress scantily without the male folks raising eyebrows? That could only happen to men with dead testosterone and if we were configured that way, there wouldn't have been sexual attraction in the first place.

You can't possibly throw some grains of corn to a fowl and expect it to walk pass them.

For the first time your rationality shifted to the emotional side or maybe you weren't trying to be rational at all.
..
In as much as God blame women that dress like prostitutes, men who couldn't purify their heart are also to blame. Jesus said that to commit adultery, all u need to do is lust in your heart.
..
This technique have always work for me. I don't look at scantily dressed ladies more than once - even when they're talking to me, I may look over their head or sides to avoid bare cleavages and other nonsense.

johnydon22:
It is not the woman's fault that you cannot hold yourself from acting on your raging sexual urge, it is your fault in entirety if you fail to know when restraint is necessary and how to employ proper self control.

Blaming the women for the weakness, silliness and the inability of man to have a self control principle is very wrong.

She has the right to wear what wants and feels comfortable in, what ever reaction you allow yourself in response to that is totally you doing and not the woman's
..
If you cause others to sin, God will hold you responsible. See mark 9:17.

AgricultureRe: My Poultry Farm - Part 2 by FarmTech(mod):
UPDATE: i made a foolish mistake and now they suffer from a respiratory disease. The problem was ammonia. I noticed it some weeks ago but I did not take action fast enough to clear the litter which was about 3cm thick.
..
Medication: Tylodox, keproceryl and multivit. I also added aspirin.
..
Lesson: If your pen is not well ventilated, don't use thick litter. Use just enough so that you'll clean the pen weekly. Better still, clean the pen whenever u perceive the slightest smell of ammonia. This is bc the concentration of ammonia is above safe level to chickens when the human nose can detect it. Clean wet spots around drinkers daily. Note: you can't detect the lowest ammonia concentration by standing up. You have to bend down to bird level.
..
The pen is built against a wall and it is not that well ventilated. We suppose to have built a better pen by now but there is currently a problem with area touts that demand for money b4 u can build anything.
..
This respiratory problem have lasted for about 2wks now, and except for the occassional sneezing, they look healthy and eat well.
..
P.S: I welcome contributions and criticism. I've seen only few.

Really sorry for your predicament. You can only manage the situation by giving antibiotics as advised but the best bet is to destroy infected ones or even the whole flock (tough decision!)
..
Pls Op don't do this oo. Fowlpox is not Merek's disease. How many birds do u have?

@ farm tech at this particular time of the year. Wat is d best time to start feeding. Cos i notice my birds consume less @ morning. Soo we want to start feeding by 6am, n provide ligthing by 7pm to 9m. Is that a good i deal
..
Layers or broilers? Normally they consume less in the morning and more in the evening.
BELEXYFARMS:
Thanks... Plz can u give me the ideal stocking density for broilers and cockrels.
..
Broilers can be at 16kg/m2, eg if u are targeting 2kg final weight, it is 8 birds per m2. I don't know about cockerels.

As earlier advised, do not repeat the Lasota until another Lasota is due. Personally, I'm not a fan of using antibiotics except when absolutely necessary so I would say you use an iodine based disinfectant (Polidine or Iodosteryl) in their drinking water. You may want to combine with Orego-Stim liquid to help prevent some bacterial infections that may want to come on board due to the low immune period they're going through
..
Pls what is ur experience wiith orego-stim like?

@jamp,fnk,eggcellent, all experienced farmers in the house, please I need advice my 33 weeks old birds were due for lasota last week, I administered the vaccine, only for the production to nose dive from 23 crates to 14.i suspected crd, started using tylamox with vitamins I'm yet to see any improvements, a friend told me it's likely the lasota failed, please what do I do,how soon can I repeat the vaccine.
..
If crd is the case, always give tylosin base drug plus vitamins 4 days b4 giving lasota. Give for 2 days, then give vaccine on day 4. Also make sure that ammonia is not a problem. If u can smell it, it is too much and will affect them. Clean the pen and keep the litter dry.

Fantastic job you are doing Farmtech. I would like to share with you that it is better to give Marek's vaccine @ the hatchery and repeated @ day 3 for adequate immunity against Marek's disease which is a viral infection of poultry birds. Therefore, by day 35, infection would have probably be on but won't be noticed till the birds are about 16weeks when they are mature to lay.
..
Thanks for the contributn. They were given marek's at the hatchery and I'm following lab vaccination plan.

I can't say specifically bc it can differ base on location. But you can to consider cost of building the pen, cost of buying day old chicks and budget like N900/bird to cover cost of feeding, vaccination and medication.
