Tbh, we need to start integrating properly. We should embrace foods like asparagus, sprouts, brocoli and chilli con carne. Lol, what you listed here will even discourage us from integrating well well . I am always open to try new things sha but our oga no gree. Beans and Yam wont allow. Just learnt red lentil is perfect for gbegiri and cheaper, planning to prepare it one and day and pass it as beans |

yungmin: I'm a civil Engr. Working in Abuja currently. I have worked with two other employers previously. My first was between 2012 - 2014. I have payslips, pension, tax, & testimonial letter from them. My next job was between 2014-2018. I also have payslips, tax, pension and reference letter. However, my headache is from my current job. I don't have my tax clearance yet. I have gone to the FCT-IRS with all my payslips and all, but they are requesting I bring a tax ticket from my office to confirm they have been remitting my tax. This is now taking a long process as I have been on it for more than two weeks. If I can boycott it, pls advise. I need to submit to EA asap. Thanks for your response My advise is to submit to EA without delaying much because assessment may end up taking between 3weeks to 3months. Since you have 6years of verifiable employment that's 10points. You need additional 2years to hit the 15points cap which your current work place doesnt have yet. You can always add employment verification at a later date and this wont usually take long. You still need to demonstrate you have been working in that role on your CV with your current employment and support it with either bank statement or payslip or employment letter if you have any for now. |

Bankalert: Just came back from the UK, London specifically on a 3 day visit, through my Office(Goverment office). My experiences so far have been a bit overwhelming. But to an extent, I wouldn't consider moving permanently to the UK. Within the three days I stayed and toured London, I learnt quite enough to know to remain in Nigeria if UK is the only option I have. I hope to go there for studies though this year and come back....
But my plan is to move to another Country in Europe after my studies in UK. Is this feasible? I mean using a UK certificate to work in let's say Germany, France or Finland for example. Lol in 3 days you don write project and reach conclusion. Wehdone sir. Best to go to those countries for masters then and switch to work Visa. Gives you the opportunity to know your environment and aid your job application. |

Has anyone had issues with Waze saying "Red light reporting you"? A friend got this notification first time using the app, personally I think the app isnt that sophisticated to get access to police/gov database but then who knows.
Secondly, how do they apply the 3 points of such offence to an international licence? |

Mimzyy: So I woefully failed my theory and hazard perception test today despite preparing well(or so I thought). Gonna book another in three days but I just don’t know where I went wrong cos I tried hard not to click too many times in the hazard perception part. Any tips to help me prepare better please ? I feel so sad. You actually did well in the theory part, so no need to feel sad. With hazard perception try and practise as often.as possible and click at least twice when you spot an hazard so you can get either 5 or 3. Nothing more than practice make perfect. All the best |

Lexusgs430: Haba..... You want DVLA to collect her fresh license.........
Don't use your phone o...... For new drivers, that's a new driving test, for oldies...... It's 6 points + £200 fine...........
Police officers now take double decker buses, to sting unsuspecting motorists..... Each day they go out on sting operations, they capture about 40 drivers...... That's 40 * £200 =........
The worse thing is, you don't even know you're caught, till you get the ticket....... Don't even bother contesting it...... They also have photographic and video evidence............ Yepa, hope I havent been fined oo. Thank you for this information. I make sure I connect to the cars bluetooth sha but who knows I maybe changing radio stations now and gbam fine don land |

claremont: I cannot recommend these guys enough.
I used them months ago to get my second mortgage as I didn't have the time or energy to trawl through the tons of mortgage providers to find one that meets my needs. I got my first mortgage years ago by going direct to my bank (RBS), sold that property last year and got my second mortgage via LandC. It's fee-free as they get a commision from the mortgage provider. I did pay a £995 product fee to the mortgage provider which was added to the loan, this was mostly cancelled by the £500 cashback I received from the mortgage provider.
If LandC cannot give a good deal, it's most likely a deal cannot be found elsewhere. Fee-free is an added bonus. Will definitely check them out, to have this good review on NL. Thanks |

Can someone on a Tier 2 visa buy a house successfully with 5 to 10% deposit. I just had a chat with HSBC and they said that only applies to citizens nd people on ILR. I can only obtain a 75% LTV ration from them hence I will need 25% deposit.
Secondly does getting the 20% Equity Loan from Government Help to buy scheme (Not ISA) amount to government funds, make I quickly know.
What is the best website to read for a lay man like me to understand all this mortgage jargon. |

I think after failing at most twice, it is very advisable to change instructor. Some of them are just greedy and look forward to you paying for further lessons Thats what I will advise, I was just being mumuish loyal. I might have used him for the 5th attempt if not that he started complaining of my house being too far because I moved places in between. |

For some reasons I forgot to share my driving testimony here. So here it goes to encourage someone. I passed on the 5th attempts after giving up for more than 6 months. My first exam was December 2018 and I was not adequately prepared and ended up failing. 2nd and 3rd attempt was booked 2 weeks apart in February and I was just desperate to get it over with and still failed. 4th attempt was the semi last straw that made me give up because I failed for not doing up to speed limit, which I felt was not correct because the examiner judged me on Tom-Tom speed which is usually lower than what you see on the dashboard and the 3rd minor was literally 30 seconds to the exam center. I was so pissed and angry and just decided to stop wasting money and stick to public transport and driving the family car when I can. Eventually with encouragement from here and family I booked another exam but decided to change my full strategy. a. Research pass rate of centres near me, my exam centre had 32% pass rate so I decided to go for another not too far which had 49% pass rate b. Changed Instructor after being loyal for 4 times c. Scheduled exam for a Thursday and booked the preceding days off work to ensure continuous practice (I was always going on a friday test date and last lesson would have been sunday. d. Made sure I was really calm like what is the worst that can happen. On that beautiful day in October, I did my test and passed with 3 minors. I was over the moon, typing this months after sef I still feel like its a huge achievement and load off. Thank you to all who encouraged me to never give up. To all still struggling to pass, just dont give up and your hardwork would soon come to fruition |

James150: please I have a couple of questions.
1. Please can a freshly graduate of college of nursing school November or December 2019 Get to the UK and get a job 2020 2. Can you work and complete your bsn nursing in one year 3. Can you go to the UK to do the 1 year nursing rn to bsc on campus and be working as a nurse.
In summary please I want to go to the UK to obtain my bsn nursing in 1 year and still be working and save some money somehow while doing it....I dont just dont want to go to the UK and do bsn nursing and come back like that i have a sponsor to the UK and even for the bsn nursing course. My target is to obtain my bsn nursing in the UK in one 1 and be working while doing it to save some money too of my own...because the bsn nursing will make me eligible for the four 4 years MD(MBBS) course in Philippines.... 1. Yes by following the registration steps on NMC UK website https://www.nmc.org.uk/registration/joining-the-register/register-nurse-midwife/trained-outside-the-eueea/new-application/.2. If you follow the processes and get your Tier 2 visa then you can study on it though I doubt you will be able to complete it in a year because you are working full time. 3. If you choose the student route, you have to still follow the registration steps above before you can practise and afterwards switch to Tier 2 (work visa), because the Tier 4 visa wont allow you to work full time during school period. My advise is follow the registration process, A. pass IELTS and CBT; B. Start searching for jobs (you can DIY or get a FREE agent to help) C. Do all the required documentation D. Once you get a job offer apply for Tier 2 E. Pass OSCE (2nd stage exam in the UK) After that you can start searching for schools to study and some may charge you home student fees and not international fees. The nurses here can guide you better. |

LagosismyHome: No preference ........it was here i heard WR for the first time and then i used it and it went seamlessly and always used them . Never checked transferwise and azimo. I have also used WR in the early days but I discovered it's good to have an acct/app with the 3 before making your transfer and check the one with the best rate and less fees. For me Transferwise is usually the best most times in terms of rate and charges. |

You can also get denied if your maintenance money falls 1 day short below the 90days requirement or any of your supporting document does not meet some of the PBS guidelines |
