You can do both. A permanent role is very important as it ensures a regular guaranteed cash flow every month to pay regular bills like mortgage etc. Contracting/locumming pays a better rate, however, it isn't regular nor is it guaranteed. In my opinion, it's better to be in a permanent role paying a minimum of circa £65,000/year, and then do some contracting/locumming probably 3-4 times a month on the side to take the overall annual income to circa £75,000-£85,000. I think any income above this for a professional is simply working to pay for Her Majesty's monthly holiday.

Pls which job role of industry pay that much, dont let me waste my youth oo cheesy grin. Agree at the bolded

Just to correct one minor thing: From personal experience, Admiral will give you one-year no claims certificate for their 10 months policy. Although I left them after the 10 months policy expired and have been with Aviva since then (way cheaper imo).
How come Aviva rejected my application because I havent been in the country for up to 3yrs and a credit check? Or is it better to call them directly for a quote.

Looking to port to a cheaper policy

OMG you’re the best. Thank you so much! This is my problem, my non-familiarity with the roads so I miss road turns/signs. Thanks so much for this. God bless you plenty
Dont worry you will soon scale through. If you are not familiar with the roads, maybe you need to change your instructor or take more lessons. Each test route have more than 20 test route but some common grounds amongst all and during your lessons he should teach you at least 5 of those routes.

You can also check pass rate of test centres near you because some can just be mean in some months, will share a link for the most recent one for November 2018 to March 2019. All in all be calm, concentrate on the road fully to plan and anticipate early.

If you can also be a named driver on an existing policy, that would be beneficial it allows you practise your driving at a reduced cost. Lastly, you arrange frequent lessons towards the exam date. All the best

Hello house, will a Tier 2 visa holder be violating his visa provision of no recourse to public funds by opening a help to buy ISA? It recently came to my attention that it will no longer be possible to open a help to buy ISA as from November, but existing account holders will continue to enjoy the 25% bonus. Your opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.
Help to buy ISA is not public funds, there is actually a link here on the thread from home office where this was answered. Do read the terms very well so as to get the 25% when you are ready to buy the property

U mean she can't use UK Naric instead of this IELTS , because when I checked the website there is a link for academic and another for those going to work UK.
In fact , due to my recent check on this group,I have argued seriously that she doesn't need it .
ok , please who are those that can use UK Naric conversation, ? please
Like I said before Naric is for immigration purposes only and you can use it if requested by employers. But to register to become a nurse, doctor, dentist etc in the UK, you need IELTS academic

Your questions has been answered over and over again. Instead of reading Naric website why not read NMC website. Link below

Thank you boss,do you mean they can't use UK Naric that most people are claiming to have been used. they must do IELTS test?
NARIC is used in place of IELTS UKVi during Visa application while IELTS academic is required for GMC or NMC registration.

For GMC registration you can decide to write Ielts UKVI so that you can use the result for both registration and visa application when the time comes. People dont do this because IELTS UKVI is 95k and if you are not able to meet the required score then owo jona cheesy.

That said, are you a nurse or doctor? To know how to advise further

Thanks for your response , please for those medical doctors and nurses. is there any professional exam that they need to do before apply for UK CoS?
Yes, for nurses they need to write IELTS academic and achieve the desired score and then proceed to write CBT,afterwards apply for jobs and once you are successful at the interview stage you can get COS.

For doctors, you need IELTS academic, PLAB1 and PLAB2, interview, and COS

This IELTS test isn't compulsory again , just go to UK Naric website and pay some fees to validate that ur program was taught in English . the full information is on the website sha . most ppl have been using dt instead of IELTS
IELTS academic is required for nurses and doctors, but you can use NARIC to apply for immigration purposes in place of IELTS UKVI

For UK, try the Tier 1exceptional or promising talent route because getting a sponsor when you are not in the medical line can be tough (it's even tough for doctors right now).

Also, check out Canada or Australia PR system.

Good day my Ogas, I don come again.

Kindly advise as regards this question on the Visa application.

"Do you have an address for where you are going to stay in the UK?

YES/NO"

Will selecting "No" have a significant impact on the visa outcome.

Thanks
To me that question is not required for a Tier 2 sponsorship especially when its for like 3 yrs. You can ask your sponsor on what to fill. During our own application, the sponsor instructed us to use the office address for the whole duration of the sponsorship. I guess its just a formality.

Whatever you do carry your sponsor along especially through email correspondence not just calls or whatsapp chats

Fear God oooo. My heating will be on most times in winter as I will have a new born so managing no dey for that one.
Try and get another apartment if possible..coming to a Cold house that has bad insulation and refuse to heat up isn't a good thing in winter and you will spend a lot on heating. In a D house we used an average of £120pcm for Gas and electricity and we are just 3 intact 2 and half grin

@fatima04

A while back,we wanted to try the Butlins but a Caucasian colleague talked so badly about it and told us to go to Center Parcs instead.

We went to the Woburn Forest and it was amazing.
Accommodation was great and everything else was good.

Kayaking, jet ski for kids, pedaloo ,they also had lovely pools ,subtropical water paradise, spa, zip lining, pottery etc

They also have a Safari in the village.

Is Butlins same kind of experience? Would you recommend? Bognor Regis isn't even that far from me.

Check out center parcs,it's lovely.
Hmmm, hard to say oo cos u have never been, but with all you have listed butlins is probably a lower/mini version of that.

Bognor regis, do have zip lining, different rides (some are scary), archery, shooting, high ropes climbing, go karting, splash pool with different sizes, some 5d games and all those indoor activities as well. On some days they have organised soccer balls and also late night shows some of which I enjoyed except for Ed sheeran impersonator grin grin.

I also believe their standard just improved the past couple of years because some colleagues told me it was not so nice when they were growing up.

Great post ...To add

if you use the Sun newspaper deal you can get Butlins for £180 for family of 4 .... this group on Facebook usually post the codes and announce the time it is done. You don't even need to buy newspaper the codes are posted. Just go to website put the codes and search. January usually the start of it when you get the most availability . Then they have several promos all through the year . So in jan you can plan for half term and any holiday or target later in the year promo

altomincio in Italy for less than £100 for 3 nights for accomodation and all the 3 butlins (you can get 180 or even pay only date, £40 ) and some havens Even Durneill is on there. There are over 150 holiday parks you can get from sun holiday either in Uk or Europe
https://m./2250091218
Yeah, that is correct, you have access to a lot of resort through the codes. But from my experience at Butlins booking now or January may end up at the same price/more expensive because I know for certain Butlins (minehead) is £180 pounds currently for a silver apartment in July/August next year.

Just to add about my experience at Butlins,

We booked via the sun newspaper codes earlier this year and for the dates available in July, we were charged £298 for 5days for a family of 4 (this was influenced by the resort).

Being that the booking came via a 3rd party site, you get a generic silver apartment assigned. It was when we got to the resort we discovered this is the least attractive apartment/barracks on site with no towels, housekeeping and microwave(you have to rent this at an extra cost) included in our package. The apartment location and all is another story entirely but we sha enjoyed it is the main point smiley smiley

When booking this things one has to really check the fine prints to be certain it is actually cheap as described.

For we JJC in holiday booking things, check out butlins holiday resort which is still quite cheap for June to August 2020 (a family of 4 for £280 excluding feeding) and you can also pay small small

It's an ideal setting suitable for both kids and adults to visit. We enjoyed our first family holiday in the UK at the bognor Regis resort centre.

Thank you so much Boss.
Just to buttress the above points, it would be cheaper and easier at the long run if you all apply with the current COS, other wise you are looking at lonely months ahead in the UK before your family can join you.

I totally understand the financial implications but dont worry you will surmount it if you believe that's your only option. All the best.
