We thank God... She is doing well now. I had a test on her poop and its clear, urine has a little trace of infection which is being treated already. Her poop is becoming thicker and i thank God for her. Na me i just dey pity myself now, [b]if you know the type of fear i had yesterday when i went for pregnancy test [/b]because i vomited in the middle of the night two days ago. I just thank God it came out negative sha. In all, I bless God. How are the kids and their dad? My regards to all and thank you for checking on us

If yes, will i leave them intact in the tins or i have to open and pour them in a ziplock?

Is it also possible to carry small cooked indomie on board? i dont know what the infant meal is like. Airline is emirates.

If you want to have them in your carry on luggage, then you have open and pour them in Ziploc bags

Yes, you can make noodles or wateva food your child will like, put in a small bowl.

Don't forget to carry diapers, wipes, drink eg ribena, extra clothes

Abeg, I need advise n I remembered I have my e family I can rely on. Started family planning 2 months ago (2 months interval injections), am due for the 2nd shot on saturday but my fear is, having been having irregular periods and I see cloths of blood once in a while, though I haven't complained to them at health centre. Note, my baby will be 11 months n I want to gap like 2 yrs before having another baby because I gave birth through cs. Pls ma, should I stop n continue with withdrawal method? Or continue with the family planning? Abeg all sabi mama's help me shook mouth oo no jump n pass. Thanks.

Most hormonal family planning methods comes with irregular periods. Since you want to space for 2 years, why don't you insert IUD or inplanon? Either of them should be better for you instead of this 2-monthly injection

Please dont use any drug to dry up the breast milk o, what i did was, i just made a nice warm beverage in his flask and begged hubby to help me give him at night when he wakes up to suck and we did that for 2 days and that was it. As per the breast milk, i used petrol to rub my breast and the water drained out speadily within two days and i used paracetamol, if you see my breast now ehn, it be like say i never breastfeed before sef, lol. what worked for me though.

Motherhood is not easy. Don't let anyone make you feel less of a person. As for the market, not everyone goes to the market often. If you are in Lagos, there are a number of sites that hav made market/grocery shopping easy eg. madamsabi.com sells everything you need to cook. Shop online and let them deliver to your house. Alternatively, put your child in a car seat and carry your stroller along to SPAR or Shoprite, buy pepper, tomatoes, carrot, okro, chicken etc from there. Personally, I rarely go the market aside the mini one near my estate and when I go, my pepper seller does all the errands...it saves me strength.. I tell her what to buy and she does all the shopping and loads them to my car and I give her token... that could also work for you so you don't move around with a baby

Your house is not a restaurant! anyone that needs fresh, delicious , eye catching menu should please visit the nearest restaurant! If your mum feels you don't cook, tell her to cook and bring. Don't allow anyone put you under more pressure than you are at the moment. Truth is taking care of a child is sooo much work! Take each day as it comes. The day you can clean, do it... if not, let it be. Anybody that finds the place dirty should please pick broom and sweep for you. By the time you do that 2-3 times, they will get the message and stop putting you under pressure.

Exclusively fed babies don't poop often...if he's soaking up diapers with wee, then he's fine. As for the rumbling, it's nothing jare...newborns av plenty things that scares new mums.

Talking of running temp, did you use a thermometer? Are you sure he's not overly wrapped with thick shawl and others? The weather is pretty hot so try reduce the layers...only a onesie and flannel is ok

Mothers in the house, I need your advice. I have a baby girl that will soon be 3 months, she is both formula and breastfeed but she suddenly stopped taking formula I.e SMA. I have tried NAN, Frisolac,cow and gate but she still refuses all. Once she sucks the bottle and tastes the formula she starts crying, she only wants breast milk which is not sufficient cos she is not even putting on much weight. I will soon resume work and I don't have high supply of milk to express and keep moreover I work in a bank. Has anyone been in this situation? What did you do?

check the teat of the bottle. I'm sure it's not flowing fast enough for her

You might need to change the bottle. if she's using say tommee tippee now, try avent or dr. browns. If she still refuses, try using syringe or spoon. I had same issues with my daughter
