Akorkor:Hey babe! Chill and allow her skin breathe and grow. You should not bother about complexion right now. Just let her be.. She's too young for all these things. Please don't use anything, just allow her |
Burntcoal:nothing is wrong.. she's still trying to adjust to life outside the womb ![]() |
Burntcoal:see how old!!! There is nothing you can do. Enjoy the moment. try to sleep when she sleeps.. This is how it is when baby is still young.. pele dear.. |
OmoLayo29:You are welcome dear! Kisses to my B-Day mate |
BizBloke:Thanks a lot. How do you calculate your service charge? Also does this include shipping down to Port Harcourt? How long before I receive them? |

Jaygrl, don't resign yet... Sit back and analyse the situation. There is always a way to go about it. 1. Take him along and keep in a creche close to your office. He's still young and has emotional attachment for you hence the cries. Your nanny can't play that role and may not be patient with him. 2. Stop force feeding! 1 in 3 children always have push backs when it comes to feeding. Since you are the mother, you can always figure a way around it. I resumed work when my daughter was 2 months old and she also rejected the bottle! I bought different types, yet nothing! Solution : we fed her with syringe. I breastfeed in the morning before I leave. Since you will be taking him along, breastfeed on the way before you get to the creche. Pop in at break time, breast feed and play with him then go back to work. I went home (cos baby was at grannies) every break till she was 7 months old. Keep trying but ensure he's not force fed. Let them sing along while feeding. When he gets to 4 months, you can introduce cereal. Pele dear. It can really be frustrating for a first time mum |
ashedzi:Fantastic...I'm good..we are waiting to hear the good news! Take care of u |
ashedzi:hey mama, how are you ![]() |
customised87:ok |
customised87:Let him go ahead. You can meet up. if he gets it notarized and sends the same day via dhl, you will get it by 24th. Go to passport office same day and pick up passport same day. |
Akorkor:pele dear.. how are you doing now? go and drink plenty water and eat fruits |
Liftedhands:alphahandmaiden, receive twins sharp sharp ![]() |
olubankemi:lol.. truth is I just enjoy breastfeeding them ![]() |
customised87:What's your question in that regard? I've used notarized forms twice |
Teegali:congrats my darling! so good to hear from you. I didn't have any issues while pregnant and breastfeeding. I just made sure I ate very well and drank enough water. Expect a lot of pressure from people! If you want to carry on, ignore their statements. Also know, it can be very tiring but I was more tired to go thru the rigors of weaning... I was not prepared for the many crying and shouting so I rather chose to continue the breastfeeding for my sanity sake. |
Liftedhands:Lol.... Don't mind me jare... I'm getting tired already. Once she's 1, by force o... I must stop |
AlphaHandMaiden:Lol... Since he has refused to stop, let him ride on ![]() Once his sister stops, that's his last day |
Liftedhands:ride on darling! Ekene needs all the breastmilk..lol 20months is good; I wonder why boys find it hard to give up... my son is 27months and he still sucks! I'm not worried cos the milk is sufficient for him and his sister and since it's still available to the sis, why hoard it from him...efforts I made in time past didn't stop him so I gave up! any day both of them are tired, let them stop ![]() kisses to my handsome Ekene |
Akorkor:I used to do it until my son's paed stopped me. She talked about distorting the normal flora that had the cleansing potentials bla bla bla..... I just let it go jare, for my daughter.. I didn't bother. I got this toothpaste for my son but I've kept it for her since it's fluoride free and safe if swallowed.

XX01:Your opinion, your choice. It's working for you, ride on ![]() |
jazzyjazz:Ditch baby tribotan, use this and see the difference |
Naomi14:Why do you want to clean it These babies have self cleansing mouths. Don't stress the baby for now. it's not necessary. If you must clean it, soak her washcloth in warm water and use it. |
jazzyjazz:sorry about the diaper rash. what are you using? Try this cream and come back smiling ![]()

jazzyjazz:Better ![]() |

That was how my puffpuff bubble was bursted I must look for yeast today on my way home. This evening will be puffpuff with cold zobo ![]() |
Gr8fulheart, don't beat yourself ! Nobody loves your child more than you do. Don't allow anybody to judge you. Ignore their comments. baby will be fine. Try and boost his immunity before you head for the crèche. All will be well *hugs* |
rully2:Welcome on board. - Expect some separation anxiety in the first 2 weeks. - visit the place and have a conversation with the proprietress. - Confirm the child to teacher ratio.. anything more than 1:5 for toddlers is too much ie 1 minder should not have more than 5 toddlers to look after. - Confirm there is a sleeping area - Check for toilet system; this will tell you if potty training will be effective - A general look at the environment will tell if it is child friendly - Ask as many questions as possible; how they ensure she is safe and protected, ask everything! - Ensure to have a separate bag for change of clothes (at least 2 pairs), diapers, wipes, cream powder and comb - Please make simple hairstyles.. don't use beads pls! It is a safety hazard.. - Also ensure to spend time with her when you are back home each day. This gives children comfort - Keep to a strict sleeping routine. It will help you have a confident and well rested child in the morning. My children must sleep by 9pm daily. After school, my son plays outdoor for a while then watches tv till 8pm. Once it's 8pm, no more tv. Takes his bath, eat a meal and prepare to sleep. Wakes up by 6am, brushes his teeth, takes his bath, gets dressed and eats breakfast before we set out. For her lunch pack, try to put what she is comfortable eating at home. Don't try out new foods as her lunch pack meals. When my son started, I add a "proper" meal (rice, spaghetti, noodles, plantain, eggs etc)., a drink (water, ribena, caprisonne etc), a fruit (orange, banana, apples etc,), an extra meal (cereals, sandwich, biscuits) and a bottle of tea. I still continue this way and it has been working for me. I hope this helps. You will surely be fine. ![]() |
jazzyjazz:Stop the use of cotton bud in his inner ear. Soap and water can cause smell. If there is no pain, fever and swelling, then there is nothing to worry about. |
ambient:Aptamil, Enfamil or similac. if they are too pricey, continue with what you have to ensure to increase iron containing foods. how old is he? |
