Good evening experience mothers. I just started cereal for my son, I got Gerber oatmeal cereal which I started just this morning, he took a little. Please who has bought BEBIVITA FRUITY BREAKFAST PORRIDGE BEFORE? and is there any better cereal I can start. He will be 5month next week.

Heinz and cow & gate have cereals for 4-6months. I've never heard of this one this mentioned. Also introduce a new cereal one at a time. Give it 4 days before you introduce another one so you detect if your child has any allergic reactions

You can make
1. sweet potatoes + chicken + veggies(carrot, green peas)
2. swallow (semo, eba, fufu) + draw soup
3. Palmoil rice with plenty fish
4. Beans + plantain
4. Yam porridge + vegetables

For snacks, boiled egg yolk, fish, chicken

Can ribena serve as my sweetener when my baby starts eating cereals? Am not sure of all this apple puree, banana puree, no blender.

We would be 6months next month... How time flies!!I am not ready true true but I can do it tru Christ.

You don't need sweeteners. The cereal + milk is already sweet. Fruits is to add extra flavor and more nutrients.

Please is there any thing else apart from water that I can give baby daily to avoid constipation. I try to give her water but she just plays around with it and spits out most of it. Or Is there anything I can add to the water to give it a more encouraging taste. She's finally pooping now and it's hard and she's straining too much

add oats to her meals. once a day or every other day. It has fibre and adds pooping. Also this combo :millet + soybeans + guinea corn..it's also very awesome and conquers constipation. If you can also find Gerber rice with DHA + probiotics, it's amazing

1. Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
Potatoes (sweet or irish)
Chicken breast (boneless chicken)
Carrot

Dice and boil all together. Blend and serve warm.
I also add this combo to my maize pap a times.

2. Creamy plantain soup

Ingredients
Ripe plantain
Small onion
Baby formula

Cook the ripe plantain and onions together and blend to a fine paste.
Add baby's formula and serve.

3. Semolina porridge

Ingredients
Semolina
Banana
Baby's formula

Method
Dissolve semolina in water and place pan on fire.
When done, remove and add pureed banana and baby's formula.

4. Fruit Porridge
Ingredients
Baby rice ( I use brown ground rice)
Mango + apple puree
Baby's milk

Dissolve baby rice in water and place pan on fire to get done
Add pureed mango + apple

5. Oats Porridge

Ingredients
Ground oats
Pureed bananas
Baby's milk

Method
Add oat to water and place pan on fire
When ready, add pureed banana + baby's milk

We are fine, thanks for asking. Just came back from the hospital after collecting two injections. She seems to be doing better this afternoon, I hope it lasts. Hospital people have bluntly refused to admit us, I sha don't blame them, whenever my baby gets there she starts jumping up and down and trying to eat the doctor's note pad, they don't believe me when I say she's showing me pepper at home. We'd go back in the evening cuz they said that's when the peadiatrician would be around but she's getting better today

its very pathetic that their even trying to milk you even when you want to pay. You have to chase them for everything.

they are very disorganized. don't get worked up... they sent me that 8K + bill even after paying was so scared when I saw it, then spoke to Yolanda and she clarified it with me

Total seizure is 9 my worries is this should I pull him out of hospital and go for traditional medicine (herbal) because 80 percent of the people I asked said hospitals hardly manage seizures....

Pls mama's am going out of my mind right now. My 2 and half year old has refused to be just be potty trained fully. Wen he dosent want to pee or poo, he will say he does and den I take him but on getting dere, he makes noise like he is doing it but dosent. Den he just laughs over it and den comes out. Av stopped wearing him diapers during d day but he just ends up messing himself. Pls mamas help a sister Co's am tired esp since I work Mon to Sat, I don't know wat else to do. Thank u in advance

Has he started school? What are they saying? My son was potty trained in school and now he does not wear diapers to sleep again. What I do: make sure the last thing he does before sleeping is to wee, wake up at night and take him to wee again. After dat, he stays dry till morning
