#100k? That cant even take care of your accommodation for a month but if you meant $100k then that is too much. On the average, the total fees per year is $40k, mind you some schools are lesser. 5m wont even last you a year not to talk of two years. Try to get some type of funding and you will be good to go. You really need to start networking and asking questions about Law graduate studies, I don't really know much about that field but I know few Nigerians who studied in Vanderbilt Uni and Columbia uni..You might need to make Linkedin your friend and connect to ask questions or start searching for schools, then email the grad cords to ask for funding opportunities.

So I want to ask about schools that don't require GRE for the MSc. program, and as well, schools that are quite affordable, and probably with funding opportunities, and most importantly with high chance of admission (application fee no be beans biko, lol).

My reply might not be what you are expecting to read but it is what it. Running away from GRE makes you sound like an unserious student. Do you know the number of Indian students applying for computer science in the US with mind blowing GRE score each admission cycle? Now imagine you with no GRE, do you stand a chance? Even if you stand a chance at admission, can you afford the tuition? because you definetly dont stand a chance at funding except you go to all those one building school which in my opinion is not worth anybody's time. You don't want to experience thinking about how to pay tuition and at the same time turning in your homeworks, and keeping up with your courses. Its hell on earth. So go write GRE and aim for fall. You don't have to do the process in a hurry. What is worth doing at all is worth doing well. The decision is yours to make.

You should be asking your admission office the question in bold. All you need to do is make sevis payment in the next link after receiving your i20 (https://www.fmjfee.com) then fill the Ds 160 form ( https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/) and lastly schedule for visa interview here https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Nigeria

I have a contact in IFe that helps me with that. Officially, etx is the right channel. But they are so expensive and inefficient. I received my transcript from Ife last year and this year. My roommate here in the US still dey cry over etx. He is the 4th person I know having this issue.

Yeah ETX is so unreliable, will have to pm to get that your contact details for my Sister, she has been on these transcript thing for about 1month now, different story each day. With that your contact, is it still 20k?

If you are an OAU graduate and you want to use etx for transcript, please don't do it. Find a way to get to school and collect it. 2months from now, you will be crying over transcript delay.
I don't know how it works for other schools though.

when last did you request transcript from OAU? As at April 2016, you have to use ETX, you cant collect transcript except its a personal copy

Phd without GRE? You are not ready but you can try University of Lagos or Obafemi Awolowo University.

The SOP need to be typed and uploaded in your application portal while most schools will require you to provide the emails of who you want to give you letter of recommendation then, they get an automatic email in their inbox directing them on how to upload the LOR.

Guess I can relate now and since lautech is on strike since forever you cant request transcript from the school? May the Nigerian factor not hinder our dreams, honestly I don't know any advice to give you now since without that transcript, you cant do anything. See if you can see someone that knows someone that knows someone you can talk to in the school

Nobody can really give you concrete information about admission and scholarships since they change each year. You should direct this questions to the graduate coordinator of each schools and be very explicit about your questions. Having said that, is it University of Maryland in college park and Texas A & M in college station? If yes then you will really need to ace your GRE , since your gpa is just at the border line.However, a man that doesn't dream is a dead man, so don't lose hope, throw in 1-2 top schools applications, write a good sop, get a good LOR and hope for the best. But if those schools are university of Maryland in Baltimore and A&M in Kingville, I don't think you have a problem with admission since they tend to admits lots of Nigerians each year, a GRE score of 300 - 310 should do. All other schools seem to be a safe option with an okay GRE score.

Lol at bolded..I actually wanted to before, seeing graduates ask some question irks me. Anyway unofficial transcript means scanned copy, uploaded or sent by yourself. Official is always sent by your university/school'S exams and records department or WAEC as the case maybe. If they say unofficial, it means you have to scanned all your results and upload on the application portal.
