Afriqan: Even Mikel and Okocha both know it's Kanu Nwankwo.
Kanu was a very balanced and valuable player. It was either he scored in a match or assisted to get a very crucial goal. He did this in Ajax, Arsenal and even for the national team.
Till date, no player can match Papilo's record. He was just balanced! You mean his record of zero Afcon goals |
Family › Re: Which Should We Celebrate More: Weddings Vs Marriage Anniversary ? by femi4: 10:01am On Sep 16, 2021 |
Smile4mee01: Sometimes I take a look back on marriages in my family and the society and see where exorbitant amounts were spent on wedding ceremonies only for the marriages to hit the rocks a few years later.
Is it not better to celebrate 20/30/40 years wedding anniversary than the wedding itself? Because that way one can take stock of one's life, see how either partner has been a blessing to each other, and move on.
Even in university admission, Matriculation is not celebrated as much, but graduation. Even graduation comes with mixed reactions because you never know if you will get a job with it, or even keep it away ad hustle in business.
I remember weddings of Tiwa savage, toke makinwa that year. E loud, Even the FCMB saga banker who died, celebrated his wedding not knowing what the future held. We often forget the risk involved. Many men and women have had their lives worsened via the marriage intuition. Some have also made their lives better.
Also, Almost all marriages had prayers in it. before and after prayers, was it that those prayers were not answered or what went wrong?
In a nutshell, I believe and support marriages. I just don't think it makes no sense to go over and beyond celebrating marriages nowadays with the inherent risk of the union ending up. I would rather spend on an anniversary, on my partner, celebrating and thanking God for a successful union so far.
All of these things make me observe. Both should be celebrated. Every of your achievement in life no matter how small deserves to be celebrated |

Olivertwist1985: My wife which we have been married for the past thirteen (13) years and have five(5) children, four boys and girl for me ,just left my house on Sunday to her parent house without informed me.
She left because we have little disagreement about monthly food allowance which I used to give her every month but I failed to give her this month when she requested for
She left with the girl which is six months old and a boy two years and left three boys for me.
Please I need your advice, should I go and beg her or I should forget about her and continue with my life. According to my family members, they said I should forget about her because of the manner she left. Continue with your life, when you have job, she ll come back. This should motivate you to get job asap |

Phones › Re: Samsung, LG Or Sony Television Please? by femi4: 7:58am On Sep 16, 2021 |
LagosInter: I need a new TV and I want to buy the highest grade of it. {I would rather buy a very good 32 inches than buy a useless 65 inches.}
Location is Lagos, budget is 250k to 400k for a 43 inches TV.
Should I go for an Android TV or just Smart TV maybe with a different operating system?
One LG UHD 4k TV caught my fancy at their Marina show room close to Mandilas. But the Lebanese oyibo guy said the screen alone is costlier than the TV if it gets damaged and that warranty does not cover screens.
He said I could insure the screen with 3% of the TV cost. Note that the insurance lasts for 1 year but could be renewed.
I have SAMSUNG, LG and SONY in mind ( I cancelled SYINIX when I discovered it belongs to Transsion Holdings, the makers of Tecno, Infinix etc)
(Or should I buy tokunbo sef)? because I feel some of these brands make inferior qualities for African markets) and standard quality for the US, UK or Europeans.
So from experience, which brand is better considering:
Durability
Picture quality
Operating system
Functionality
And above all, easy repairs/after sales customer service.
Thanks
See the pics from LG show room in Marina Lagos, below.
