Lessons123:
I have a wife and blessed with a daughter, I earn extremely high and I am in a debt of of over 2m monthly as a result of paying for a loan monthly to set up a business for my wife which has gulped over 30m and still a failure though this is the second failure of business opened. I decided to open the business as we both agreed she should resign as her salary as a teacher was the same salary with one of our two maids. The issue is despite doing very well financially my wife always gives me issues and there doesn't seem to be any love apart from me being her daily ATM. There was actually a phase when I had challenges financially and she was the only person to mock me. I need your advise as the quarrels are becoming too constant and the severe quarrels are majorly related to my brother in laws and sister in laws. Mind you my brother in law has been living with us and disrespects me and she defends him. Also before the marriage she was a very humble and tolerating lady until the business was opened. Sometimes I feel guilty as my dad had to sell his house in lekki and is in the process of buying a house in Ajah because he needed only 10m to complete his house in the village, which I could have easily provided if it wasn't for my indebtedness through my wife. Mature advise please.
As a man, you don't go into debt setting up a biz that you are going to be in charge of the the cash flow directly. Next time, minimize your risk. Invest more in yourself and your biz before you invest N5 in her biz .

Remember the law of money made by husband n wife:
Your money is her money and her money is her money

Car Talk › Re: My First Experience Picking Up A Car From Tincan Port, Lagos To Port Harcourt by femi4: 4:42am On Sep 17, 2021
Naija8240:
“My first experience picking up a car from Tincan Port Lagos to Port Harcourt”

The day started off with me picking up the car from Lagos Port. Thereafter, I proceeded to register it to avoid unnecessary interception from security personnels on the road ensuring all necessary documents were in check.

Knowing how the system functions, I was advised to keep some cash handy for some security personnels I’ll meet at various checkpoints. What I encountered on the road didn’t seem like extortions . In fact! One can say the police, army and every other security officers that are suppose to protect lives and properties of our dear country are the people robbing us.

How did we get here?
Nigeria security services have destroyed this country!
There were about 23 check points all filled with police ,army and customs on the high way. Each had a particular amount stipulated to be paid.
I met like 9 custom officers checking for duty papers. Each asked for a “1k non-negotiable fee” as that was a standard for them. Then the army took 200 naira at each check point.

The police are the worst!
These guys are hardened criminals disguised in uniforms to operate legally on the road. They have no mercy. I spent 2-5k each at checkpoints.
I ran out of luck as I approached Benin where the bigger problem started.

I got to a checkpoint and was told my car is tinted and the registered plate number didn’t reflect on their system. I was taken to their station and asked to pay the sum of 100k. I looked at heaven, left and right for help but none came. I started negotiating the extortion, and we ended up at 40k. After paying I was allowed to leave and so I continued my journey hoping this time the extortions were over.

As God answered my prayers, I didn’t meet any Custom officer from Benin to Port Harcourt just police check points.
In total, I spent 98k on extortions and it saddens me. The questions that still lingers in my head is “why Port Harcourt and Warri Ports are still not functioning till date”?
Why do our Politicians Politicize everything in this country?
If not politics, tell me why the Ports in the South are not operating?
There are lots of readjustments to be made especially where citizens in my country have accepted extortion as norm.
We need to do better!

God bless!!
Next time, just get a uniform man e.g a soldier as a passenger, and if at all you are going to pay, it won't be that high
Sports › Re: How Iheanacho, Ndidi, And Osimhen Performed In The Leicester Versus Napoli Match by femi4: 4:35am On Sep 17, 2021
LayemiSport:
Leicester City versus Napoli is the biggest match of the Europa League Group Stage fixtures. The clubs have proven to be consistent performers in their various leagues over the years. Football fans anticipate the result from this match, particularly fans in Nigeria.

Leicester has Super Eagles defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and forwards Kelechi Iheanacho in their team. Striker Victor Osimhen is part of the Napoli team visiting the King Power Stadium to face Leicester.

The game was not disappointing as both teams delivered exciting performances worthy of watching. The game ended in a 2 - 2 draw, with each of Leicester's goals scored by Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes, while Osihmen scored a brace to earn Napoli a point.

Let's review how the Super Eagles players performed against each other:

1. Kelechi Iheanacho - Leicester City
Iheanacho was influential as he assisted Leicester's second goal, scored by Harvey Barnes in the 64th-minute goal. Iheanacho was later substituted for Jamie Vardy at the 89th minute, immediately after Osimhen's equalizer, as Brendan Rodgers searched for a winning goal. A 7/10 performance.

2. Wilfred Ndidi - Leicester City
Ndidi was solid as usual for Leicester at the heart of the midfield with his tackling and interceptions. He would eventually end the game badly after seeing a red card from a second yellow card in the 93rd minute. His team could scale through regardless of being reduced to 10 men considering the red card came late. A 5.5/10 performance

3. Victor Osimhen - Napoli
Osimhen scored Napoli's two goals of the game in the 69th anon.87th minutes, helping Napoli gain a point in the game. The man of the match award winner left it late, as Leicester was already leading 2 - 0 before he switched on and fired.

Aside from his goal, Osimhen was active throughout the game by chasing down the opposition's defense and going into tackles to help his team. A 9.5/10 performance rating is ideal for the Nigerian striker.

Drop your thoughts in the comments section below.
Osimeh was a beast yesterday, he was the man of the match. He could have end the game with 2goals and an assist if not for the wasteful displayed of his teammates.

Leicester started well but got tired when it matter most (the last quarter of the game)
