Thank you.

I would be going this autumn God willing.

Well, what's your definition of affordable (£/week range)? If you don't mind the distance from Hope campus, if that's where you would be receiving lectures, Kensington, Wavertree and Anfield areas seem to have reasonably cheap prices for a room in shared accommodations. That is between £55 and £75 per week.

You might want to check Gumtree for your studio in the above listed areas.

However, it could take up to 45 minutes using the bus from those places to the school.

Please anyone going to Liverpool Hope who has received CAS?

Politics / GEJ Faults El-rufai’s Claims On Ecological Fund Disbursement by femimat(m): 6:42pm On May 26, 2017
GEJ faults el-Rufai’s claims on ecological fund disbursement

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has advised Nigerians not take seriously the Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, concerning his statement on how the Ecological Fund was spent during the Jonathan administration.

Jonathan in a statement by his media aide, Ikechukwu Eze, on Friday, had reacted to el-Rufai’s claim, describing it as untrue.

El-Rufai had, on Thursday at the National Executive Council meeting, said, “What President Goodluck Jonathan did was to take N2bn each from the Ecological Fund and give to some PDP states.

“Any PDP state that was not his friend, like Kano and Kwara, didn’t get.”

However, the former President said it was only the states that met the criteria for accessing the fund that received it.

Jonathan said even some states governed by his staunch supporters such as Akwa Ibom and Ekiti did not receive the fund.

The statement reads in part, “It is so easy to expose Mallam Nasir el-Rufai … as Akwa-Ibom, a PDP state governed by the then Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and a close confidante of the then President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, did not get the monies alluded to by Mallam el-Rufai from the Ecological Fund, as did multiple other PDP states, including Ekiti state, a state governed by a thoroughbred patriot and Jonathan supporter, Ayo Fayose.”

Jonathan said states ruled by the Labour Party and the All Progressive Grand Alliance also received the fund.

“Also, it is false that non-PDP states did not get monies from the fund… States under non-PDP parties like APGA and Labour party also benefitted.

“The fact remains that the Ecological Fund is a specialised fund with certain constitutional requirements which must be met before a state can access the funds.

“Every state benefited from the fund under President Jonathan who bent over backwards to accommodate states that had difficulty meeting the criteria for accessing the fund.”

He said el-Rufai’s was intentionally silent on the over N10bn specially deployed to fund the Great Green Wall project in some northern states, in view of the need to work with the rest of Africa on the African initiative to check desert encroachment in the Sahel.

“The states included Zamfara, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina, Adamawa, Yobe, Borno and Kano, which belong to el-Rufai’s class of ‘non-friendly’ states that he claimed never benefited from any discretionary fund,” the statement added.

Car Talk / Re: Tinted Permit:what Is The Cost In Your Area? by femimat(m): 11:38am On Aug 20, 2016
It is terrible....I did mine in Lagos command. The attendant told me it's free but I must drop 5k for processing and appreciation. I gave him 3k that that's all I can afford....

After 3 months my permit was still not approved....after several visit, he told me it was rejected that I should re apply, I had to give him additional 2k after the said reapplication...

Shortly after, my permit was approved for collection.

The same in most command. The leadership of NPF are all aware....there is 'return' so they will not talk....in Lagos police command. The receptionist at the gate will ALWAYS ask for bribe in the very presence of police officers...what a world....I wonder when Nigeria go better....
Car Talk / Re: I Am Driving From Abuja To Lagos. Advice Needed Please!!! by femimat(m): 4:54pm On Jul 10, 2016
Leave early.. The road not too bad... Get your tint permit before you leave... Just capture and get some backup papers.... I travelled same route in March... Lagos to abuja and back... I went with my family.... It was fun... No police wahala... All those that stopped me... Had nothing against me... Only begging for money... Custom stopped once and cleared me...
Just have enough plan for fuel and set out early... It is about 10 hrs on average speed...
Safe trip and best of luck....

Hmm.... Strange but true... Please you need more prayers now than ever... Those sisters will not be happy the way things turnout... They may be planning "remote" sinister move... Please be on guard... Your daughter, unborn child and wife are not exempted from this possible plot... Thank God you are a Christian... You need some fasting and praying to ward off any attempted attempts.... I pray for you that as God delivered them into your hands in the first place... So shall it be all through your life... You will need to do more than you were doing to boost the confidence of your wife and make her healed... God bless you my brother... Really proud of you... Interesting life lesson... I had to share this story with my wife... So she can learn as I am learning...
