For me, I care less of what anybody says and I am not here to quote the scriptures. Now, christians are expected to pay 10% of their earnings as tithes... Ok! Agreed!! But how many pple can beat their chests and say they pay the mathematical 10% of their "earnings". Some peeps earn far more than their monthly salaries, yet give 10% of their official salaries. We are all guilty in this aspect. However, I will not! And I repeat, will not see a fellow brother wailing and wallowing in poverty and yet decide to give a so-called 10% to an already fat pastor. If the church falls in this category, then ofcourse why not. But Tithing is not the exclusive right of the church!! |

I weep for country, Nigeria. |
My brother, there are no right strategies, but there are generic strategies! Check 234GT's post. Calculative guessing and ensuring no question is left unanswered. "Every graduate knows that" - U assume a lot o! Nervousness: Again, speak for yourself. |
@jstringz, its best if u speak for urself alone and not d whole engineering conglomerate. I believe everyone should be an authority in his/her field, irrespective of depts. Haven't u ever failed an aptitude test?? A number of reasons cld be responsible for failure: one, is nervousness, unpreparedness - peeps assuming its d same maths and english, not knowing the right strategies to employ, and inexperience. |
This is definitely Access Bank!! |
DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION FIND ATTACHED FILE CONTAINING ALL 30 Q&A FOR THE VERBAL SECTION ONLY. I REALISED A LOT OF PEEPS HAD ISSUES WITH THE SECTION. SO, STUDY THIS PACK, SCORE YOURSELVES AND OFCOURSE FIND A WAY OF PLUGGING THE LOOPHOLES FOUND. AS REGARDS THE HAMBURGER QUESTION, YOU'RE VERY RIGHT! THE QUESTION DIDNT CONTAIN THE RIGHT OPTION. THE ANSWER WAS CLEARLY $1.62. I GUESS IT WAS AN ERROR TYPING $4.40 AS ONE OF THE PARAMETERS INSTEAD OF $4.04, WHICH WOULD HAVE HAD THE ANSWER AS $0.90. |
For me, I really don't see much difference. Same na ni. @234GT, have u been able to figure out why interviews seem like a hard nut to crack? |
According to latest reports, sperm has become one of the hottest commodities being sold in Ghana. The target market for this new booming venture are couples suffering from male infertility, lesbian couples, and single women who pay huge amounts of money to access it. “Selling of sperm is gradually becoming the new business frontier booming in Ghana because it has many uses in today’s society: making babies, sperm banks, and putting volume in limp hair in order to make it long,” a medical student at the University of Ghana Medical School, who sold sperm five times to a Fertility Centre in Accra for GH¢10, 000 ($5,280), told Economic Tribune (ET). The medical student, who gave his name only as Mensah, said even though selling of sperm was a risky business, it was also rewarding as well. “I use the proceeds from this business to pay my fees and also support my close pals. Who knows how long I will continue? But whatever happens, I know I can look back on many happy families that I have helped to create,” he stated. Mrs Naomi Suame, a shop owner at East Legon and many parts of Accra, has been married for 15years and has two children, none of whom biologically belongs to her husband. “I discovered my husband was infertile when we got married after two years. But I wanted to experience motherhood. I decided to have artificial insemination. I have never cheated on him. I just got sperm from a willing seller and got two healthy babies. Is that not wonderful?” she asked. In the case of Naomi, she got a young man from the University of Cape Coast, paid him GH c12,000 ($6,322) and took his sperm, which she used twice to get the babies. “Sperm is one of the scared commodities for many of us. There is a high demand for it and many young men are going into this venture selling their sperm to help others, who needs it for one reason or the other,” Naomi explained. Investigations conducted by ET revealed that due to the huge capital outlay of the process, women have now devised a way of beating the system by getting donors (spermsellers) whom they take to the Fertility Centres for harvesting at a cheaper cost and then having the sperm induced in their uteri. dailypost.com.ng/2012/10/05/shocker-how-ghanaian-men-sell-semen-5000/ At first, I thought I should create this on the Job/vacancies section, cos of the long list of jobless Nigerians waiting to be recruited, but then again... |
Addendum: The $10,000 dollars aint cash but a rolex watch of dat value. Also, the guy is 10yrs younger and worth over $200m. |
Equador: I got an sms 4 days ago refering me to www.fuoye.edu.ng, its stated there in the site dat dos of the non-academic staff |
Peeps, no harm intended. Its just a wake-up call to folks who, based on ignorance, denigrate d names of some of these recruitment agencies for no just cause. And also to help future management trainees. I've seen cases where candidates assume dey've "blasted" a test, whereas in actual fact it was d other way round. NB: Even though these are the correct answers, do not rely on this as the final judgment; know that Jah has the final say. |

Now the bone of contention here is simple. why would a group of universities allow resit, when others don't? Especially when the graduates of these schools go on to compete in the same labour market - where grades are held in high esteem; I dont think this is fair enough. When i fail a course in a public university, i am expected to undergo additional stress/load in the next session, while another group of schools allow u to pay a token (which they shld be able to conveniently pay, since they can afford the school fees) for a resit absent of pressure or any additional load; just holidays "deprivation". There's imbalance in the educational system!!! It's either all schools encourage resits or it's completely scrapped!! NUC, way to go. |
the office a'int "cool", its "clueless" |
This is what you get when you pay ur employee a paltry sum of 50-70k while s/he handles millions everyday. I'm not justifying her actions, but its really counter productive when the pple who handle cash more are the least paid in banks (of course, excluding drivers, security men & cleaners) |
The contemporary Nigerian wife has completely left the home front unattended to, while she chase after a career. Its so rampant that these children practically train themselves up. its important to put the primary role of being a wife above any other thing. At times, i wonder why some ladies get married and go as far as child-bearing. But do i blame them?? The quality of husbands these days leaves little to desire of. But still, the welfare of your children is paramount. Hwever, the best job for a married woman is self-employment, where she can dictate when and when not to resume. |
"tunshe : 9:09pm On Sep 14 There was a telephone chat with the shortlisted applicants. They will also receive sms for main interview at the appropriate time. Thank you." The above post was from the original poster on friday night. How come u went for an interview on saturday?? |
Training ranges btwn 70-75k and exams proper is $545. It doesn't require a prequisite qualification. Just have d interest - which I think u possess and u're good to go! |
It will really be nice to have u aboard the CISA train. Though I'm not CISA certified neither am I based in Abuja, but I must confirm that there's a wealth of job opportunities for IS Auditors. Virtually all multinationals, most medium scale businesses and of course professional consultancy firms require their services from time to time. I intend writing my exams in the December diet, as I'm currently undergoing training at Rhythex consulting, Ilupeju, Lagos. Though the whole package is quite pricey, bt d dearth of these professionals in Nigeria cannot be over-emphasized. What IS Auditors do? They give assurance, analyze risks and threats in a coy. They ensure controls, procedures and policies are upheld. Virtually all banks have internal auditors; although one can also function as an external auditor, as it is d case for the likes of Pricewatercoopers, Akintola Williams Deloitte, Jide Taiwo etc. |
