Better take 1year and let the Lord be your shepherd |
boneruns: Okay. Diamond is the highest paying, I can't tell you the figures. I reliably learnt UBA reviewed their salary, which I presume is higher than Diamond.Trust me, if young peeps have the opportunity of choosing their careers, many wont be where they are today |
lydia5: Review of salary does not affect contract staff Oº°˚ ˚°ºo . They might be one of the highest paying bank, but of what sense is it when the people that are doing 80% of the work are not rewarded nor consideredThanks lydia5 |
Super1759: [/b]Is it that u don't understand English or u just wanna type. I said "one of the highest paying...", i never said they are the best. I also asked for confirmation. |
While there are more knocks than kudos to Access Bank, information reaching me has it that, the reverred bank just reviewed the salaries of its staff (to be precise over 100% increase). Infact, they are currently one the highest paying banks in Nigeria. Confirmation would be appreciated. Got this from a staff. |
Yomieluv: self employed things, striker ko,defender ni.Successful entrepreneurs don't rant the way u do. No big deal in being self-employed; legality and success makes what ever path u've chosen enviable. Meanwhile, serious associations won't even bother themselves with ur recharge card biz centre *winks* |
What the bank guarded against was knowing for a fact that some prospective customers must have made a negative conclusion on the bank by that singular act and reacting accordingly. In my opinion, to save the face of bank, sack the employee to show they have control and discipline in place to serve as deterrent for errant employees; or put the staff on suspension, to save the staff's face and the tell the public they are at fault for not encouraging proactive training and recruiting competent staff. I think the bank made the best choice. |
Well, its a good way of turning a bad situation into something profitable and worth it. But just as a Nairalander asked, why go through the stress of the tertiary institution, when one is going to end up a car washer?? However, believe it or not, graduates in the business, in no small measure, will bring the much needed sanity into some of these businesses, instead of leaving them in the hands of stark or semi-Illiterates. In a good economy, businesses such as this should be done alongside a normal job. |
Its getting more difficult contributing to national issues these days, as people debate simply based on pure sentiments. Who knew Obama's capability before he became U.S president? By precedence, if he can put Lagos in order, he sure can put Nigeria in order. If past presidents weren't given mock tests b4 becoming presidents, Fashola doesn't need same. |
obi123: what has inferiority complex have to do with the fact that someone supports the move by the gov to extradite bunch of good for nothing rascalsS/he responded based on "I don't know when some nigerians will start doing us proud.". s/he is spot on, if u ask me. |
since_1914: Am surprised that no one has mentioned the terrible Ariel detergent advert where the woman goes... "I was like ah! and she was like uh!Everyone in my family hates this. If u're with the remote and allow d ad to run, its as if u've committed a grievous sin. One billion hate for d ad. Wait first, why do most mums hate dis ad?? |
clow: The one that really pisses me off is that COSON advert where the guy quit his Job because his boss would not allow him go for a Concert...in his words"Nna Men, I love this Job but I Quit"*spits* that advert??... Dat freaking advert?? Infact, calling it an advert is giving it some rep. Its pure garbage and to imagine a company invested in such trash is nauseating!!! |
deejay_harry1: the one with aMy friend!! Stop that rough play o.. I friggin' love that advert. Sometimes, I move wif the robots sef!! |
"@mr_nomoreloss: Dear supporters of #saveOJB, at this time I cannot confirm if Gov. Rotimi Amechi has approved the needed $100k for OJB's kidney transplant." 6hrs ago |
Must we have tips for everything we do?? What happened to being spontaneous?? Have we suddenly become machines who function based on algorithms? The other day, I saw tips on how to sleep, as if its possible to control ones posture while asleep. Won't be surprised when I see tips on how to shit!!! |
meracool: Is Whipping The Only Solution...And what's my problem with how its done abroad Africans and their copy-cat mentality. |
Not saying d syndrome doesn't exist, but those photos are paintings or super-enhanced real images. |
In as much as I have a personal venom for private universities, I'm appalled by UI and OAU ex or current students saying with utmost certainty that such doesn't happen (I mean settlement). For your information, I'm yet to find a school dat's not involved in such. Its d degree of complicity that differs. Btw, If it happens, how will you know?? We're only aware of this because it was blown open. Pple!, I can't vouch for anyone and if u do, then u're probably still ignorant of life itself. @op, dis is a sad case for covenant university, cos they already have so much liberty and flexibility to graduate well, with all those selfish policies in place. Now this?? If it happens in public unis, its understandable (though not ideal), cos of the rigidity and insane study environment, bt private uni?? Its a shame!! Whatelse do dey want Free certificates?? |
nijanigga: You're in support of the annulment? You can see where your dead country Nigeria is today. You have to hope.Maybe u should read properly before typing |
I've said it without number, I even challenged Dele Momodu (his puppet) last year June 12 on twitter when d fool was comparing MKO to Martin Luther King Jr... What comparison!! What insult on d enigma called Martin Luther King Jr!! MKO was like any other rich man looking for power to consolidate his wealth... Dats all.. Selfish interest and unfortunately, just like any political quest, turned awry for him. Hence, he should be a hero?? What's d guarantee he'd be a great president, if he had been sworn in ![]() Meanwhile, I'm nt in support of the annulment irrespective of who was cheated, but Karma is a bitch!! |
webdezzi: sorry, whats that song at the extreme end of this clip? That should be "Outside" (my personal fav) from The Unstoppable album. Except ofcourse u're referring to Rainbow remix ft T-pain. Both songs in d xtreme end |
rezzy: Yeap, i applied sometimes ago maybe three yrs ago. I hav learnt to leave federal work for federal people as in Minister's children and thir likes.Sad but true. Banks are relatively unbiased |
I've got no problem with her graduating with a 5.3, cos its expected, all she needed was a lil concentration and she'll hit it! My problem is with double standards in d labour market!! Cos its almost impossible to achieve such feat in a public school, I mean the percentage of First class grads. Yet Private and Public university graduates compete in d same labour mkt, where there's already a set standard even before applicatn. |
Call it jealousy, but I think this is vain!!! |
I'm often taken aback when I see pple claiming Nigerian ladies are synonymous with money. I've met countless ladies, with no such absurd relationship. U see some guys flaunting what-nots and not expect magaism to follow. The foundation of any relationship is very key!!! I guess its all about d guy in question, u appear a maga, then u're treated as one.. Shikena!!! |
Song has no depth?? The guy has to pay his bills, so he's got to marry commercial + sensibility! Ask Iyanya, Mode9 and Banky W (thank God for Wizkid). BTW, dat's not Rocksteady!!! |
No hate. Just a point to note. Exchange rate in 1978 was 0.606 to a dollar. This means Aliko was "loaned" an equivalent of $825,082, which is N123,762,376 (over 123 million naira) in today's economy at say N150 to a dollar. |
OP has spoken very well and that's d way it should be in a normal economy, but if u wrote dis article with Nigeria in mind, there are a few tweaks. 1. If u have no strong "connectial", please follow strictly to what the OP has said. Though, it doesn't guarantee much, as regards getting jobs in Nigeria, especially as a newbie, except u're exceptional, plus grace. 2. If u have a strong "connectial"; number 1, u won't presently be jobless or underemployed(most Nigerian Youths fall under dis category), so OP's advice is optional. I'd advise u to take d advice, but its not a do-or-die affair, cos you'll do just fine, with/without it. 3. The God factor: God can just decide to butter ur bread. All the above are based on experience, which could be bias, but flawless by my experience. Go to school o and graduate well, whether by cramming or anyhow, but legal!! We can't all be hardcore entrepreneurs. Parents should also look into Ajanlekoko's argument. It helped me a lot creatively and in money management. Shalom. |
He didn't finish school alright! But I'd rather take advice from someone who has been in the wrong and has learnt from his mistakes than a motivational speaker who dwells in [vague] books. So, again, what qualifies one to motivate?? A doctoral degree in education or a zeal for impact and a "doctoral degree" in life? Note: 90% of men in his shoes, with/without his affluence would've done all it takes to flush out those wonderful children and keep all mouth sealed! |
I think its fair to keep quiet rather than give uninformed information. As at last year, ET (position after confirmation) earns 117k per month. Contract staff, depending on ur outsource coy, though they use a particular coy whose name I can't recollect right now, and dey pay 56k. As a contract staff, u're entitled to Quarterly and 13th month (though, allowance not as much as dat of a full staff). Also annual leave |
Is it possible for 2face to even contemplate retiring from music?? This is how u differentiate passionate music lovers from strictly music businessmen. I admire their drive though!! |
