Would've loved to see those ajebutter twitter activists lead d protest and get arrested. Until then, they are all bunch of noisemakers looking for followers! |

God bless u. Its all in the hands of Jah and not a bloody human. |
Aii. we are saying the same thing. ok. Cain and/or Abel had carnal knowledge of their mum to kick-start d human chain reaction we have today. Thanks for that insight. More suggestions needed pls. |
please go straight to the point bro. i need a definitive answer. are u saying we are all products of what we now know as incest ![]() |
Now, from my little knowledge of the bible, after the birth of Cain and Abel, just four humans existed on planet earth. My question is, how do we explain the multiplication we have today? Assuming, Adam and Eve had a daughter which wasnt documented in the bible, does that mean we are products of INCEST - either between the sons and their mum or their undocumented sister? MODS: Frontpage pls. |
Cant we all see beyond Anambra in this issue? This is a pitiable state Nigeria has found herself. I am sad by this development, but more sad seeing tribal embedded comments all over this thread. Now, irrespective of who did it and who got caught, its safe to say that corruption is now a culture in our day-to-day lives. Please lets find a way of changing our perspective towards d ways in which we accomplish our goals and targets. If a sports festival whose intent is to discover home-grown talents is enmeshed in dis kinda controversy, i wonder what happens in corridors where much more is at stake. This is sad! |
Aafulenu: ... even if its my cv, what abt the job that requires filling of online forms? Please check the bold part while scrutinizing her CV. |
Experienced comments are desperately needed. I'm sure a lot of people are in his shoes. |
When there are capable, ready to go hands. Nepotism and padipadi has killed dis country! Lol@Nigerian Breweries... Chieftains of padipadi |
Now, I am a christian and all I have seen here are pure sentiments and selfish comments. One question, is any of the self-styled pastors richer than the Arabs? Imams don't indulge in jets, not because they are poor, but because the founding rules of Islam doesn't support it. Again, in xtianity, u have CEOs (otherwise known as General Overseers) who control the strings of branches worldwide, all in the name of being the founder/pioneer; Hence, they are allowed to do anything with the returns. The few doctrines in Islam doesn't have an absolute leader who calls the shots, cos' a variant of Islam, like NASFAT and co. wasn't formed by an individual, but a group of people. The modus operandi of these two religions are wide apart. |

As a potential father, I'm highly humbled by this showing. Call it political paparazzi or second term strategy. It shows that inspite of Obama's busy schedule, even before becoming a president, his love for his family has always shone like a million stars. Nigerian fathers need to take a cue from this and not allow their so-called tight job schedules keep them away from their families. For this, I solemnly swear to always do my best to make my family happy and be more than a finance manager to them. |
Copying and pasting d said invite on here will do a lot of good. |
I wish to be caught with this kind of money at least! The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arrested two suspects over an attempt to smuggle more than $238,858 ( two hundred and thirty eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty eight United States Dollars) out of the country through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. One of the suspects, Abdulrasheed Ibrahim was nabbed on Wednesday November 7 as he prepared to board a Dubai, the United Arab Emirates bound Ethiopian Airline. A total of $188,858 (one hundred and eighty eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty eight United States Dollars) was found on him. He had declared the sum of forty five thousand USD ($45,000) only for a search on him to reveal additional $143, 858. Further search reveal that he was carrying forty British Pounds and 5753grams of solid gold worth thirty four million five hundred and eighteen thousand naira (N34, 518,000). The suspect is still being interrogated The second suspect, Hyginus Ezedimbu was apprehended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on November 3 as he prepared to board an Ethiopian Airline on his way to China. He was caught with $50,000 but he declared $49,971. Apart from under declaring the money in his possession, Ezedimbu could also not explain the ownership of the money, nor was he able to produce the receipt with which he purportedly purchased the forex from a Bureau De Change. Musa Adamu operator of Majia Bureau de Change, Abuja, who purportedly sold the currency to Ezedimbu has been questioned even as the suspect has been release on administrative bail, pending the conclusion of investigation. The arrest of the duo comes on the heels of similar arrests at two of the nation’s other major gateway, the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos and the Mallam Aminu Kano Airport, Kano. Abubakar Tijani Sheriff, who has since been convicted by a Federal High Court in Lagos, was arrested on September 27, 2012 at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport en route Dubai, United Arab Emirates for attempting to smuggle $7million out of the country. When he was arrested, he declared that he had only $4.5million on him but thorough search showed that he was actually carrying $7,049,444 (Seven million, Forty Nine Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty Four United States Dollars). Two days after Sheriff’s arrest, the anti-graft agency similarly apprehended one Nkem Sebastian for attempting to smuggle $286,000 out of the country. He was arrested as he prepared to board a plane for Dubai, the United Emirates en route China. When the money was discovered, Sebastian disclosed that he had only $200,000 on him. But a search revealed that he was actually carrying $286,000. On Sunday, September 30, 2012 operatives of the Commission arrested one Alhaji Tasiu Ilu Kura, a businessman with $700,000 (about N112m) at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano. The suspect who hails from Kura Local Government in Kano State, was arrested en route Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under declaring cash at entry and exit points in the country are criminal offence and the person making the declaration risk losing 25 percent of the money not declared or a two year jail term; or both. http://businessnews.com.ng/2012/11/09/cash-smugglers-efcc-arrests-two-for-money-laundering/?wt=2 |

This Vilanova guy is gradually making me feel all he's enjoying is the prowess of the squad and not his tactics. Wat tha heck is Fabregas and Villa doing on the bench?? |
What does the law say?? Until the constitution is modified, pls no sentiments |
Its clearly easier being a male than female. Reason is cos' a female can assume all responsibilities or abilities of a man, while d reverse is not the case. E.g. Being the breadwinner, an authority in d family... Errr... I can even fork out a list of what makes men tick. Howeva, all d aforementioned roles can be assumed by a woman. Now, a man, no matter how super he is, cannot breastfeed, menstruate, undergo menopause, multi-task effectively in a family, go thru d height of abuse and discrimination dey go thru etc. Women are just all-inclusive in nature. They are what Yorubas call "gbogbo n se". They can develop most of the physical features of a man, be it facial hairs, d chest region, legs, muscle etc That's why I still prefer my first child being a girl, cos of their multi-tasking abilities. Wonderful creatures... I mean the ones worth being called a woman!!! Even when it comes to independent child-bearing, its a lot more involving for the woman than a man, IVF etc |
Kslib: It wasn't meant to be wet.. No go drink waterDon't mind him jare. Keep up with d good sense of humour. Ur post got me laughing. |
The onus is on us as a people, cos we keep giving more regard to the possessors of these titles than the typical "Mr". If the preference accorded them is reduced in the society, I know it'll no longer be attractive. This is the difference btwn d western society and Nigeria(ns) |

Gbeborun, gbefila, gbegele... Ask ur friend!! |
It would be sheer ignorance to say Tee-A copied Teju. Where was Teju when Tee-A started tv comedy shows back in the days?? Personally, I prefer TBF show in terms of professionalism and content, but Tee-A as regards individual personalities. |
Though a good development, however, "gadgets" like this should be re-tested by capable professionals in Nigeria, before it finds its way into d commercial market. Who knows if the magic bra itself contains rays that might trigger cancerous cells to prove its efficacy. #justsayin |
I still don't understand the reason why govt agencies request for payments for job applications. |
omenziate: How many good news u dey see for aljazeera or Cnn per day? If not syria crisis, na insurgents for africa or huricane clara for new orleans or austerity protests for spain or greece. Chairman, ground no level anywhere jare. Make God just dey help person.Well said... @OP, its everywhere |
SlyIg: My dear, its a thing of joy for the Yorubas'. While others are being caught and reported for one crime or the other on daily bases, here is a good news for them. Do you think its easy? Abeg, give respect to whom respect is due and rejoice with those who rejoice so that the next point of joy can locate you. With this attitude, Nigeria is going no where... This is the height of extreme "racism". We Africans claim to be sidelined by the outside world, yet we are worst of dem all. I'm Yoruba, but I was first human!!! |
How do u quantify the atrocities committed by okada men based on numbers?? I see someone relating the situation to plane crashes, malaria, bad roads etc; are u saying these should also be banned? My major bone of contention is d govt not providing another means of livelihood to manage this potential catastrophe dat has been set loose. |
