Having been used to money sharing for 16years, the last 4years must be strange and the need for a drastic change. However, the sensible ones among them are still quite much. |
This definition of a traditional man is really scary, despite being a man myself. Its tough alone to be a wife under a man's roof, how much more a man who is still archaic in thinking and only sees his better half as a docile doormat. Preposterous!!! |
This move is not favourable to the PDP. It is hoped that a large chunk of PDP votes will come from the South East because of Peter Obi. However, with this, it might be a rather good news for the APC in the South East. |
The Senate is no longer interested in continuing a case it filed at the Supreme Court on the suspension of Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen. In a statement on Monday, Yusuph Olaniyonu, media aide to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said the Senate has decided to give the National Judicial Council (NJC)’s intervention a chance. The statement noted that the decision follows the intervention of the NJC on the issue. “The Senate has therefore decided to discontinue the case it filed in the Supreme Court. It should be noted that the case has been slated for hearing tomorrow. This decision also affirms the confidence of the Senate in the ability of the NJC to successfully and creditably resolve the issues,” the statement reads. The Senate on January 28 filed a case at the Supreme Court to seek clarification on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen. Relying on an order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), President Muhammadu Buhari last Friday suspended the chief justice replacing him with another Supreme Court justice, Tanko Mohammed. In the suit, the Senate approached the apex court seeking its interpretation on whether President Buhari acted within the provision of the constitution in his suspension of Mr Onnoghen. The Senate also wanted the court to determine whether the action of the president does amount to usurpation of the powers of the Senate as provided for in Section 292 of the constitution. The section states conditions for removal of a chief justice but fails to clarify the difference between temporary removal and permanent removal. A day after the announcement of the suit, the All Progressives Congress caucus in the Senate dissociated from the legal action, following which Mr Saraki clarified that it was initiated by “a majority of the leadership” of the chamber. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/309859-just-in-onnoghen-senate-withdraws-supreme-court-suit.html |
President Muhammadu Buhari has signed and executive order allowing private companies build federal roads in the country. The Executive Order 007 2019, signed by the president, is on Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme. The president signed the order on Friday inside the council chamber of State House, Abuja. The new order will allow private companies such as the Dangote Group, Unilver, and Lafarge Africa construct major roads across the country and be paid in the form of tax credit. Nigeria ranks 11th on the list of countries with the world’s worst road quality and network, according go the Global Competitive Index of 2018. Under federal laws, public roads are constructed and maintained by the government, but poor funding has seen key roads left unattended to for years, causing car accidents. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/307943-breaking-buhari-signs-executive-order-allowing-private-companies-to-build-federal-roads.html |
I will keep saying this. What you give is what you get!!! What do I think, based on your writeup and tone of language? 1. I think she feels you're irresponsible, who flutters away the little income he makes. 2. I think she feels you're putting too much pressure on her, without appreciation. 3. I think you are immature! 4. Today's women are not ignorant anymore; You have to up your game. 5. When you start contributing money to buy a TV (which i'm sure its not high-end), then you know something is wrong with you. |
Honestly, I don't see any indicting in this tape. Just being blown out of proportion. But its OK. Even if its indicting, I think the joke is more on PDP, than APC or perhaps both of them. So, if its a campaign strategy, well, its not! |
Silverbird man of the year lost its credibility immediately its Chairman became partisan. Irrespective of the selection process, that singular Ben Murray Bruce clause will always be a factor in the outcome, howbeit, subconsciously. |
Except you are going to import the people that will be the National Guards, this imported effort might fail. Truth is, Nigerians are the problems of Nigeria. |
Isn't it funny how politicians who doesn't give a damn about their constituents now cry out to be saved by the same constituents? Normal people go through this treatment everyday, yet they do nothing about it. This is a case of having a taste of their own medicine. Sometimes if the lowly can't get to the highly, the highly will attack the highly. If he's not guilty of anything, why tremble? Abeg, even democracy no work for us. |

No problem. A large corporation like the EFCC must have an offsite data bank |
Study Real Madrid in the past two seasons, they've been woeful. How they kept winning CL beats me. Honestly! CR7 or not, Real Madrid has been winning based on sheer luck! |
A script being played out. I'm sure this memo was drafted same day the first one was distributed. This current figure has always been the consensus, but they knew it would be resisted. Reason for the initial hike. |
Honestly, despite my soft spot for Buhari, i feel his refusal to get his credentials from whatever source, despite being the number 1 citizen is somewhat discrediting. It makes some of us feel, perhaps, he has something to hide. It shouldn't be that difficult. |
Ignorance is when you scream Ambode, when you're yet to exhaust your screams on the LCDA chairman, House of Reps member and the Senate representative, who may have quoted a large sum for the roads. |
Abeg, no vex o, please where is the engine? |
Some people will be sad with this development, forgetting that for Nigeria to move forward, some major, fearless steps must be taken. E.g. barring doctors from owning private hospitals, so that doctors in govt. hospitals can fully concentrate on the jobs assigned to them. 2. TSA and BVN: Its not who conceived the idea that's important, its actually who implemented it, and that is Buhari. 3. Payment of several pensions owed for years. I believe the non-payment of these monies was not ordinary. There were bottlenecks that were insurmountable by previous administrations. The problem with Nigerians is, you want a Nigeria of the future, but we are not ready pay the sacrifice. You rather prefer those that will keep sugar coating the economy, while we remain stagnant. |
Hardeysolution:You can't blame them. Its their source of livelihood. They must protect what brings food to their table. My only pain is when they mix partisanship with humanity! I'm sure they will rejoice if tomorrow's headlines read "5 killed in herdsmen attack in Ekiti". So sad. |
Perfect Volkswagen engine. I'd assume its a mistake. OP, kindly modify |
I wonder the kind of hospital that told her to still wait. The longer she waits, the higher her chances of infection, and of course putting the child in danger. My advice is for her to opt for CS immediately, in case the baby isn't strong enough for vaginal birth. Usually in cases like this, the child must be placed on antibiotics even after birth. Not for immediate consequences, but for later. Speaking from my experience via a different doctor/hospital. |

Thoughts on the Toyota Corolla Verso (3 rows) urgently needed. Thanks in advance. |
Expected response from the man. African women need to understand, you don't do these things. He does the "hefty" things in the house. From the write up, I don't think you ever really supported him for school fees (maybe once). Yet you complain him never having enough. How would he? Hello!!!! Family responsibilities have taken all of it, while you save and build a house for him? A round of applause. Only a bastard husband will accept such bullcrap. However, I don't think it should get to the level of divorce, but even at that, the marriage may never remain the same again. Waiting for the feminists and misogynistic champions to support the woman. |
Toeyean1507:That's why I used the words "assume", "perhaps". Because I might be wrong or right. Same way the OP has pointed out the wife is a year older. OK? |
Although the father in law's request is somehow, however, If the man can afford it, why not! But with his complaints, I guess not. Pestering the young man despite letting you know he can't afford it is ridiculous!!! |
OK. Why do I have a feeling this whole story will change soon as your wife's side of the story is heard? You're 25. Dated since 2008. Married 2015. Had a baby girl in 2015. A little mathematics shows you got married at 22. Started dating while you were 15. Wife is, I assume, younger, since she's just serving. It also shows that perhaps, pregnancy prompted the wedding in 2015. From your writeup, I sense you feel she's an ingrate despite the financial assurance you provide. What do I see? I see a bored young lady who seem caged and wants to be set loose!!! |
Hmm. Are you sure there isn't more to this? Cos I find his reaction way overboard. You have three kids already, don't you? Who gives birth to more than 3 children these days sef? PS.: With this insensitive attitude of his, never ever leave your job. OK? |
Real Madrid fans often forget too easily. The pillars of Madrid lie in Marcelo and Sergio Ramos. These guys make this particular Madrid squad tick, no one else. Not even Ronaldo, despite his qualities! This is why I don't give much attention to football awards, cos, the focus is always on Forwards/Strikers. |
akanniade10:Best Actor in a Comedy. |
See why Buhari is likely to win again, with or without the support of the Easterners? |
